I needed to get the compressor replaced in my air conditioner and get it up and running for the summer. I called at least 6 different mechanic shops in town. I was either treated with a quick roundabout estimate, (way above what anyone else was saying) never received a call back, put on hold for someone who was the only one here that knows about that or just a very uneasy feeling about the person I was speaking to ( leaving no trust for the work of the company). When I called C&R Automotive, the phone was answered by someone who immediately made me feel that I found the right place to do the work on my car. His first words were; Let me call you right back as I think I can get a better deal on the part I need if I call around. He called me back within 5 minutes with a very affordable estimate. When I got to his office he allowed me free wifi so I could handle business while I waited in an incredibly comfortable and clean waiting room. While sitting there I heard him on the phone with someone inquiring about a part for a customer who had just brought his car in. He told the person on the phone that the price they quoted was more then we are willing to pay. This man gets it! We are not all made of money and we would hope those who are in the service industry would know that. I was conversing with another customer and they had said that they would not ever take their vehicle to anyone but him and he used to be his mechanic elsewhere and he always had a waiting list for customers. Wow! My vehicle was done in record time with no problems since. Only in a perfect world do you get all you ask for from your mechanic. I think for a day I was in a perfect world when I did business with this company! This NEVER happens to me and I am always prepared for it...usually I either get the runaround on the phone or spoken to like I am an ignorant woman. Then when I get to their shop I get played (after all I am a dumb woman I dont know any better). I then end up sitting on something hard and filthy for hours waiting for the work to be done and of course the work is never done right and I have to bring my car back. Thank you C&R I will be back and I will be telling my friends about you.
