Helped me out tremendously on a Sunday after 5 pm . I rushed in to get my oils changed and they only had about 25 min til closing . But my car ran out of gas bc I didnt think I had time to stop before going in . They loaned me a gas can and let me take it across the street while they serviced my car . They got it running in awesome condition again and I appreciate all the help they offered. thumbs up for them

Its been years since Ive been to a Jiffy Lube service station. This was the first time using Jiffy Lube to service my truck but I was very satisfied with the service. Staff was very professional and detail oriented. Would definitely go there again to service my vehicle when they need an oil change again.

They made me feel better by answering all my questions and explaining why those changes had occurred. I traveled from Washington down to Bakersfield for the first time by myself ever. So I had concerns about why my oil pressure was registering higher than usual and it had to do with the change of heat viscosity. In other words :Its 🔥 flamin Hot in Bakersfield!!!!

Rockstar crew. Super fast, everything done right. Drove 10 straight hours immediately after the service and made it just fine over a pass at 8000ft and into Flagstaff on a snowy night. Everything was perfect. Tires felt right, engine felt right, windshield was clear with new wiperblades. Knocked out in about 30min (maybe even less). Great job.

This was fast and convenient! No wait, easy drive in oil change. I didn’t even have to leave my car (although they did offer a waiting area inside) and it only took 15 minutes. Everyone was working hard. Jose R washed all my windows, which I really appreciated. As I was pulling up, a woman was in her car screaming at the workers for some reason. They handled it professionally and didn’t engage with her abusive behavior. Brandon handled the paperwork and payment, he was efficient and professional. Thank you!

Good oil change, but the employee saw that I work for Uber Eats and started to ask me to deliver him some food. He was so annoying and I had to keep telling him no over and over. His job is to change my oil and thats it!!! Im not your personal food delivery service!!!

The service was amazing! One of the workers named Jacob was so understanding of our price that we wanted he worked With us and even topped off our other fluids and checked our tires. Honestly Jacob was the star there he made our experience totally worth it and was very easy to talk to and understand (speaking as a female who knows diddly squat about cars) thanks guys 10/10 would recommend and if possible ask for Jacob 😅

They are white robbers. constantly pressing and forcing you to buy the services, which you dont need.If they messed up your vehicle, they raise the hands and you suffer. Be careful!

Jiffy Lube seems more interested in maximizing sales than customer satisfaction. I caught two obvious lies about work they said needed to be done that was not needed, and they were incapable of completing a tire rotation properly or quickly. I have no doubt that they gouge customers every day by doing unnecessary work.

Watch it for this place o was wanted and still baht my vehicle here front convince. The technician position 100 dollar synthetic oil and on the paper work it said we discussed price. Ive taken my vehicle to other jiffy lube and know thats not how they operate. Watch it for this one.

Dilan was good. They were decently priced for a fuel filter renewal. I did not like the fact that they didnt inform me that they had to order a filter threw NAPA or show me the old filter. Had they gone the extra bit more I would have given a better review.

I come here to get my oil change all the time and these guys are just very quick I guess based on this covid-19 you dont even have to get out of your car anymore I just dont understand why it takes them 2 minutes to put new oil in charge $70 I might need to explore other options

Very quick yet curtious.

I took my car for new brakes and rotors. They didnt do a good job. After that my front tires started to make a squeeze noise and I took the car back and they said its normal the rotors had moisture thats why they make that noise. But I took my car somewhere else and they told me that the rotors were not screwed right.so I paid again to have them fixed. That was my first and last time there. I hope that u have better mechanics or have more training on how to do a good job.

The gentlemen were nice enough, however, they quoted me $115 for a simple oil change on my 07 Chevy Monte Carlo! That is the most outrageous price I have ever heard for an oil change!

Chris went out of his way to help replace the engine part that was misfiring, free of charge. Service was quick with high quality work. Got the signature oil change and cabin air filter replaced in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend this place, top notch customer service and knowledgeable employees.

This place is good for a quick oil change. The employees were helpful and friendly and we found a coupon that saved us $15 off. There was no wait and they were really fast and professional. They also vaccuumed my floorboards for free. They topped off all my fluids except for coolants and overall I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family and will be going back in another 3000 miles!

Jiffy Lube on California is fantastic!! Ive been happy with their service in the past, but today they were especially helpful. My car could hardly run today, so with so many places closed today (Labor Day), they said I could bring it in and they could diagnose the problem even though they are not a repair shop. They did diagnose the problem, but they couldnt get the part needed because the dealership was closed . They even said that otherwise they would actually do the repair for me. I was impressed that they are so knowledgeable, helpful and kind! You will be, too. I strongly recommend them!

Had such a great experience today with this particular Jiffy Lube! They took my car at the last minute before closing and they finished quickly and efficiently. All the staff were so incredibly friendly, I was really impressed with the service I wanted to leave a huge tip!! So nice!

Fast service, polite employees. Came here for an oil change, and decent amenities (refrigerated water fountain, free coffee) were offered. But it was overpriced, and they didnt do a thorough job vacuuming and cleaning my windshield, plus more, which is supposed to be included in the *overpriced* oil change service. I do appreciate that they didnt try to upsale me or try to force me to fix other stuff that (I know) is wrong with my car. Wont come here again, but it beats doing it yourself. Mixed review: theyll get the job done, but dont expect anything above and beyond.

This review is for location at corner of California Ave. and Oak Street. Been going there for well over 15 years. There service is thorough and quick. I go in before long trips just to hve tires checked (no chrge) and they treat me me like a VIP customer. They are always there for me when I need anything including my stupid questions answered.

We had too much oil and transmission fluid. They checked levels, drained some, and didnt charge us. Great service!

Rude as hell, waited 15 minutes for someone at the counter, when the guy showed up he very rudely said park your car on the other side then proceeded to ignore us. So we went to sparkling image, better service better price and a free wash.

When driving down the kern canyon I hit a rock and had to pull over to the side of the road. Had a flat and it actually bent my rim. My spare was also flat, bad day right? I had the fortune that Bryan stop to help me. He happened to work for Jiffy Lube as one of the managers. Helped me get back to Bakersfield and when we got to Jiffy Lube took care of me and my car. Everyone here was so helpful and kind. I feel very lucky to have been helped by such caring individuals. I will be coming back whenever my car needs something and I would suggest you do too.

Pros: Their automatic email system sends you reminders of when to service your vehicle, with a $10 OFF coupon. Staff was friendly. I havent had to wait very long.Cons: Last week (Monday 7/25/2016) I got an oil change & had the air filter changed. 3 days later Thursday 7/28/2016), my check engine light turns on, then some other engine light with an arrow pointing down (which Ive never seen in my life let alone my vehicle) went on and then my car stalled. Luckily I was just sitting in my driveway on the phone. My gauges were normal, and my car couldnt have overheated since I had them top off the coolant! Plus, the gauge showed normal temp, despite it being 105 degrees. I went out of town Thursday night through Saturday night and my husband drove the car, didnt stall. But only one check engine light remained. Saturday night however, while we were driving the car shook, that second Engine light with the down-facing arrow popped up, and then we stalled. Even the breaks wouldnt work! My car wasnt doing ANY of that prior to taking it to Jiffy Lube. I also paid for the Signature Service which was supposed to vacuum the floors and they didnt do that either. Im taking it back today (Monday 8/1/2016). I called them to tell them, and they said they could scan it for a diagnosis code. Im hoping that maybe its just a sensor issue they could fix. My car doesnt have a problem accelerating. It ran just fine on my way to work this morning, but the regular check engine light was still on. I have a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer.

WENT IN AND SERVICE WAS FAST AND FRIENDLY THE ONE THAT HELPED ME WAS A BEARDED MAN, HE WAS NICE AND PROFESSIONAL AND DIDNT FORCE ME TO BUY ANYTHING FOR MY VEHICLE LIKE OTHERS WOULD DO. HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT. WE NEED MORE HONEST PEOPLE WORKING IN PLACES LIKE THESE.

This place lures you in with the $24.95 banner on the front of the shop and then proceeds to sell you the highest priced service! They told me that my air cleaner needed replaced when it was ok. They also told me I was almost a quart low when I had just checked it this morning and was barely a 1/2 low. Im guessing they all do this to some degree but I wont be back here...
