My wife loves this beauty supply location. Has everything, and then some. A huge beauty store opened nearby but my wife prefers Lucky Beauty Supply.

Very poor customer service; the employee was dragging her feet to help me find what I was looking for then said what I was looking for didn’t come in the color I needed. Then I asked, who may be the owner or of the like, the same question and she quickly said what I was looking for didn’t come in my color. I drove from the Bronx here because it was highly recommended... finally they blamed COVID for not having what I was looking for.

Love the store. People are helpful and it is not too crowded.

I used to give Lucky a 5 star, but them I learned how they teamed up with another beauty supply store and told their suppliers that they would boycott if they sold to Foxs, the black owned beauty supply in the same shopping center. Now they have to go out of their way, to the Burroughs, to get their merchandise for their store. Shameful behavior. Especially when Im sure they make enough money already, to be trying to block another, smaller, business.

I love luckys and even if they did build something across the street that is Bigger and holds more merchandise.I will always choose luckys first.I love Alee and they are very friendly and helpful. Ive been shopping here for years and I will continue..Good prices a lot to choose from and great customer service

This store is well stocked and most likely would have any item you needed. The store has been remodeled, lending more space to peruse and not feel claustrophobic. The workers there are very cordial and helpful. The prices are reasonable(I think), after all if its what you need...why not pay for it? Take a visit for yourself. With this pandemic, please remember to wear your mask, and be prepared to stand 6 ft. ENJOY YOUR SHOPPING!

I love this place. They have everything you need, for any hair type/style. The one time they were out of something I needed for my daughters skin, the gentleman asked me what it was, said they would have it on Tuesday. I went back Wednesday and they were fully stocked. I will always shop here. Always friendly and they never disappoint.

They dont honor returns, even with a receipt and within the time limit. The receipt says what they do and dont take back, and my item was a hair dryer which is allowed as far as I knew. Beware of buying anything you think you might return from here, because you likely wont get your money back

Theyll have everything you need to complete your hairstyle and maintain healthy hair care. Its a large store and usually there are people here to help. But if you have an idea what you want take a picture or keep it in mind because sometimes help isnt always available right away.

Let me just say If you need it they will have it! This beauty supply has a little bit of everything for everyone. Products are always trendy and popular. Make-up, oils, nail care, shampoos, gels, accessories, and etc... Just to name a few. The gentlemen that work here are very helpful as well!

The man that was on the floor was very pleasant helpful. The cashier she was not friendly at all. All it was about is getting the money in that was it. It was uncomfortable try to talk to her but she wasnt very talkative for a business person. And thats not the first time experience that type a visit.

Customer service is lousy. Sales people are very slow and dont have a very caring attitude. This store is the most convenient around which maybe the reason service excellence is not a high priority for them. They do offer a wide variety of beauty products but the selection of wigs is not good and neither is the quality.

Everthing you can possibly think about for hair and body is packed into the shelves in the store. The items are priced a bit high and you can get them cheaper if you are willing to drive to queens or Hempstead. The lady in the hair extension is very sweet and the long standing male employee knows everything there is to know about hair and exactly where eveything is. The owners/Asian employees can be rude at times.

My Wife loves this place, & for good reason, stocked to the rafters with every hair care product you could imagine !!! Many items & brand names you would have to really do some searching for to find otherwise !! Very impressive inventory that also includes, jewelry, make up & cosmetics, hair extensions, wigs, brushes & combs, hats, carrying bags, nap sacks, cleaning supplies etc. From opening till closing this is one very busy place, but absolutely well worth the trip ! If you are just looking for your favorites or you want to try something new, stop in !!!

Staff isn’t helpful at all. If you know what you want and don’t require any help from staff, this place has pretty much everything you’d need for hair. Good selection of products and brands. Two stars only due to lack of help from staff.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!!! if your looking for hair weaves and great supplies and great customer people then you are right on track!!! i really would recommend this place. they also have a lot more than hair too. The location is a little far but it is worth-it.

That return policy on the bottom. Ha! joke. Dont forget the black men that work in there yes massa ( we, our store.... slaves to others).

Ive always shopped hair and loved it, however, the young girls in the back are rude. They eat while they work, theyre doing their hair, dont offer any assistance and when you ask a question its like youre interrupting them. Train these young people.

I dread having to come to this store. Yes, they do have almost EVERYTHING you could possibly need for your hair, however, everything is so cluttered together that its hard to find the things you need. And being that theres only 1 sales associate on the floor at a time, hes hardly ever available to help. The store is also very crowded and the narrow aisles make it hard to get around.

This place is a slap in the face of the demographic it serves. Employees are rude and dismissive when it comes to customer service or refund miraculously everyone doesnt speak english. The sign on the door that reads all persons under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult is evidence they believe the communtys youth are all theives. Lucky Beauty needs respect for who keeps them in business.
