Great selection of packaged, canned, fresh, and frozen foods. I was able to easily find some dried herbs and veggies I hadnt found at Hmart or Great Wall. Friendly, helpful staff too!

Hidden gem of a Chinese grocery store! Their produce is always fresh and well-priced, and you would be surprised at the variety of spices and packaged goods you can find in this tiny store. Family owned and operated, which is always a plus.

Ive been going to this place for about 15yrs.They are the only place I can get some of my ingredients for my sauce. They are very friendly and helpful.

This grocery store is a little gem packed with all kinds of reasonably priced foods. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies and specialty Asian items. Kind of out of the way but worth the trip. Husband and wife are very helpful and pleasant.

Goods from the entire Asian diaspora such as restaurant quality imperial soy sauces, Indonesian keropok, Thai, Indian and Japanese curry powders, Filipino confectioneries, as well as day-to-day goods can be found here.If you are living in the city, this is an essential place for your Asian-wares. They have the best prices for rice in the neighborhood and occasionally they make a home-made kimchee that is absolutely divine.

Fresh and affordable herbs and vegetables. You can find any spice that you could possibly need here. 86 cents for a huge bunch of cilantro. An amazing noodle/sauce/seaweed/tea etc. selection that never disappoints. They also have basic household items like trash bags as well as kitchen tools. I bought a bamboo steamer basket that I use daily. My go-to grocery every week, even if they dont have the exact same produce in stock. It makes me try new things.

Glad to have this small Chinese grocery store nearby with a surprisingly wide variety of goods, with prices that are competitive with those at larger asian grocery stores outside the city.

This hidden gem of a store has a wide variety of delicacies at cheap prices! The produce is very fresh and it is easy to become overwhelmed imagining all the dishes you can prepare as you shop. The next time I visit. Fish skin that looked like pork rinds is coming with me. Yesterday, I lost the fresh ginger buying to a Jamaican shopper. There is a wide diversity of customers as well!

They have the best vegetables and herbs. Always fresh and great prices. Friendly staff too.

Pretty good for a small Asian grocery. Definitely leans heavy on the China and Chinese imports. This is a great place for snacks, herbs, teas, noodles, and Asian cooking ingredients.

What an incredible grocery store! They have waaaaaaay more unique and fresh items than other grocers in the area.This reminds me of those old-fashioned family-owned community hubs that fed the nation before megasized corporate grocery chains took over how everyone eats.Dont feel like Asian food? Thats fine! They have plenty of standbys, staples, fresh fruit, veg, meat and dairy that you might get at any other place. The benefit is that its almost always both fresher AND cheaper!

After finding out that it was sold out in my part of town, had to come check for Oyster Sauce so my wife can cook certain meals. Giving 5 stars as a favor for Cashier, who told me they are only open for walk in from 12-4 on Wednesday to Saturday due to COVID. She let me in to get my one item and apologized that Google Maps has never updated the hours even though they contacted Google to change this.If its morning, Monday, or Tuesday and the pandemic is still raging when you read this, I would call the shop and ask about delivery.

My new favorite neighborhood market! I’ve been having a hard time finding Thai basil but Po Tung has it and they have many other products I love.

They usually have what I need. Tomatoes are refrigerated overnight so not always good. Most staples and lots of Asian goodies. Friendly family atmosphere. A little store with a big selection. Reasonable prices.

This is one of my favorite places to buy groceries in Baltimore - the produce is great and the selection of hard to find Asian goods in unmatched by anything within city limits.

A few years ago I had an issue with a few expired products I purchased. Im happy to say that I havent had that experience since then. Since the pandemic I have been shopping at this store on the regular. They have added a ton more products, the fresh produce is amazing, lots of Asian vegetables at a great price. Potung Trading is one of the best grocery stores in the neighborhood!

First time in Baltimore and this little Asian grocery store was the cutest store I have been in my entire life. When I say small I mean small but they had everything. My daughter even asked for a set of screw drivers and they had it.

I buy all my kimchi here for a really good price. They have original Thai red bull, super affordable produce and a ton of affordable frozen meat and Asian meals!

Its a very inexpensive Asian market I cook a lot of Asian vegetables dumplings I use a great deal of different sauces that you have to go out to the county to get bus their based right downtown very convenient for me.

I live in the city and dont drive so this is a great store to get my necessities. They have a whole array of asian sauces and noodles and other products from the Philippines, Japan, Korea etc... they also have some fresh vegetables as well. First visit it might be daunting as it is a small place and they pack so much stuff in there but every visit you may find something different each time. Be sure to check expiration dates. The store hours was a little iffy as I decided to come first thing in the morning and it said they open 10am saturday morning but they ended up opening an hour later.

Pretty decent asian grocery for city dwellers. Place is packed to the rafters with convenience items, fresh produce, frozen and refridgerated stuff. Best selection 1000 square feet can provide.One star off because the kimchi has anchovy/fish sauce and is no good. I need a fish sauce free kimchi option.

Ive been looking for a good place to buy Japanese food. They only have Chinese and very little Korean. I tried to find specific items, like Barley Tea, yakisoba, okonomiyaki/yakisoba sauce, things like that. They had none. It was really disappointing. Plus the sketchy-ness (is that a word?) of the neighborhood made me wish I had never come in the first place.

Inexpensive, and convenient if youre in the neighborhood.

Last time I passed this place, it was closed. someone needs to make a post stating this place if officially closed if that was the case.

Po Tung Oriental Grocery was clean, products abundant in quantity, and checkout was easy.
