Bad matcha. 97% milk, 3% lavender taste. Nothing like matcha. Breakfast sandwich has good bread. Manager or owner is pretty rude. Ifyou don’t want the public walking in through the giant open door which is “for employees” then put up a sign.

You have to try this place! My fiancé and I went after we finished up rock climbing at the earth treks next door. We both had the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and split one of their apple cinnamon donuts. I had their hot coffee.Their food was truly amazing! We had to go back in and tell the staff how good it was. Best breakfast sandwiches and donut we’ve had in Baltimore! Coffee was super smooth, no bitter aftertaste. Would recommend to anyone!

Great coffee and great beans. Incredible staff that are friendly and knowledgeable. The apple cider donuts are a great treat. The smoked salmon and cream cheese is perfection. Lines can sometimes get long but be patient and courteous - its worth it.

Vent is hands down the best coffee in Baltimore, possibly the best on the east coast. Ethically imported coffee, and the head roaster, Sarah Walker, has honed her craft to a perfection. I will never be able to drink any coffee from anywhere else ever again. A fun open space is inviting, and comfortable. Great place to hang out.

Excellent coffee. Definitely a third wave coffee shop. Had a light bodied super flavorful cup and picked up a bag to go. Girlfriend grabbed an apple chai and it was also extremely good. Will definitely return if Im ever in the area again.

I haven’t even been to Vent, but I’ve had their cold brew coffee at a new local place called Kitsch at the Carlyle, and it is AMAZING. Best cold brew I’ve ever had. I’m completely addicted, both literally physiologically (oops caffeine dependency) and because it’s so flavorful and rich.

Very cute coffee shop with tons of places to sit, unfortuantely we were there during a busy time and had to sit in the windowsill. The lattes were very tasty and cute. It wasnt the best latte ever but it was definitely unique and worth stopping in

Best coffee in the Hampden, Remington, and surrounding areas. The customer service is fantastic too. All of the baristas are wonderful to interact with. Even more importantly, they know what theyre doing with coffee. I moved from Frederick and was so happy when I found this place. EDIT/UPDATE: Also, they have some food and dessert offerings that are worth a try. I love the breakfast sandwich. Thanks, Vent. You are wonderful.

First time here, but loved the low-key feel of this neighborhood cafe/toaster situated in Union Collective. If you’re on bike, there’s plenty of rack space out front and places to stand outside if you forgot a lock.

Absolutely love this place. Ill usually drop in once a week before climbing and get my red eye. The coffee is just of a higher quality. You can taste the love that goes into the cup. This all sounds crazy but I really enjoy this place and if you have a minute, check it out.

Been waiting for this place to open! so good. Sarah is one of the best roasters in the business imo. both the beans and the coffee they make from it in the shop are my favorites hands down in Baltimore, which is saying something cause were blessed with talented, ethical roasters and great coffee makers in this town. psyched to try the coffee bean subscription. havent checked out much more of the Union Collective yet but undoubtedly will be back. lots to try. ample parking!

Not even a year old, but brings the consistent quality of a staple veteran brewer. Located next to the Union Brewery, and the Charmery, the entire location boasts local homegrown quality. Visible roaster, classy presentation and a great cup of coffee. When your coffee roaster warms your glass with hot water before putting the coffee in you know youre in the right place. For snobs and coffee amateurs. Quality local brew.

Top notch coffee brewed to perfection. I usually take mine with cream but the coffee here is so good I avoid diluting it with cream. Sarah is very experienced at this. The baklava is an another of my favorites - its homemade.

The environment here is nice, but the drip coffee I had on a Saturday morning was nothing to write home about. Im not picky about coffee, either. This was just a sour tasting weak cup.A friend of mine who got green tea also didnt get a great drink, the flavor was watered down. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, I might give it another chance soon.

Overpriced and very unwelcoming. I recently visited and had to deal with a female employee who was so rude and unhelpful that I almost left. I don’t advise anyone to go here. They seriously need to work on serving their customers better.

Well roasted coffee but the dude working the front seriously needs to consider taking Prozac. When paying $5 for local craft coffee the experience from the order to the final sip needs top execution:Initially I inquired about the roasts and he mentioned them in a very low voice, the rest of inquiries were met in a similar mood - and they also dont serve anything in ceramic during their last hour... no apologies given either. This isnt acceptable when its a craft product, $5 cup of coffee needs to be enjoyed in glass/ceramic. Usually there is more enthusiasm given they roast their own beans. Given the lack of quality local roasters in the DMV, I will give them another chance and update the review.Ambiance was ok but a bit too plain to execute the minimalist style thats popular among todays youth.

Coffee excellent, and when its not that busy, service is great. Theyre getting pretty popular though, and I dont know how long they can get by without buying more machines and/or hiring more people because I went in there last on a Saturday and stood around for 10 minutes without getting my order taken even. Then I left.
