Customer service is top notch, unfortunately this rating goes for the donuts. From the outside the options they have are very interesting and made me want to take several of them home... once me and friend tried it... it was less than we expected πͺ surprisingly the best flavor was the classic sugar covered donut. We may give a second opportunity to this place.
Looking for a free-range small batch artisanal pastry? This is the spot. Its not fair to just call these donuts. They are really more like fine pastries at reasonable prices. They have everything from pretty fancy pastries to just a basic glazed donut which is as good as any plain glazed donut I have had. I personally like all of the berry donuts.I was in luck today because there was only one other person in front of me when I arrived. However, as soon it was my turn the line had grown out the door. Recommendation - get there early! Also try their great cold brew coffee. It was the perfect complement to the donuts.
Wonderful, creative, delicious doughnuts! Never boring. Friendly service
They have a unique variety of donuts, and I can honestly say there is no better place I want to go to get my donut fix. My favorite so far is unicorn farts, but there are so many to choose from. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking for a morning sweet tooth fix!
I generally consider my self an amateur donut connoisseurπ¬. I track all of the places Iβve been (itβs a lot). I would put this at a top 3 donut joint (I rank this behind Providence Donuts in Rhode Island and very closely to an Amish bakery in rural southern Ohio). I have two criteria; 1: combination of the quality of the dough and the cook on it 2:toppings and flavor. Anyway, I also tried Donut Alliance in Baltimore and Diablo won on quality of the doughnut....and just barely edged out the topping flavors. Highly recommend this place! Great donuts.
Amazing donuts but you have to get there early or order before the weekend for pick up on the week end. Multiple amazing flavors.
Stop here for a half dozen donuts before attending a meeting. Fantastic choices and flavors, quite busy on this visit. Be patient and kind.
This is the best donut shop weve found in Baltimore! Love love love the donuts here. The flavors are excellent and very well balanced, and the yeast dough has a very nice flavor and texture. The cake donuts were good (and are typically my go-to), but the yeast are great. Highly recommend the raspberry filled and crème brulée!
Best hand crafted doughnuts in Baltimore. I went a while back to their shop when they were in fells, now they are even better. Bigger selection, donuts were very tasty and delicious. Big also, i barely finished 2, friendly stuff and cool ambiance. Definitely recommend it, and better get here early because they sell out
Randomly ran into this place on the road. Donuts taste great! Cool staff too
An actual, real treat in these quarantine times!First, online ordering was a breeze due to the simple-but-effective website. Itβs just like the shopping experience on any online website, and felt very familiar. Youβll be prompted to choose a pickup time. Our choice was 8:30 AM to maximize freshness. You get your order info and confirmation. Easy.Picking up was easy as well. Only one person allowed in at a time with explicit verbal instructions about how to receive the box. Rules keep us safe!As for the eating experience, wow. Perfectly balanced sweetness, bright colors, and complimenting flavor combinations. My spouse and I gave this an A, with the El Barto edging the others out.Top-notch taste, top-notch safety. What else could you want during the pandemic? Besides a cure. π
This place is the gem of the donuts not only in Maryland but the whole US! Lucky enough I live 10 min walk to their store. The donuts are fluffy, reminds me of a cake dough. The toppings are excellent, not too sweet even is the glaze is thick. The flavors are always interesting but I already have my favorites: the berry ones and there was a vanilla mint that get if itβs available. The COVID 19 didnβt close the shop and a actually now they have a great pre-order system and it never failed me unlike some other businesses.I love this donut shop and itβs worth to be on the top donuts of the US!
Really great place had an amazing experience. I didnβt get the name of the young man that assisted my family and I but, he was amazing. The collection of different flavors of donuts was extensive and I will definitely go back. It wasnt too pricey, I did get a dozen of various flavors and each one was better than the last. I do wish they had a regular glaze but a part of the reason this place is so profitable is because theyβre giving you something different than other donut shops. I recommend stopping in for the strawberry cheesecake. Not a lot of seating for customers and street parking is necessary. Other than those standard city eatery problems, haha, it was awesome!
Holy wow. These doughnuts are amazing. We tried 7+ flavors and every single one was spectacular. Fresh, light, complex flavors - my husband and I had to constantly remind each other not to wolf them down. Itβs so easy to order online and pick up. The staff is super friendly and they are abiding COVID standards so thatβs a huge plus. Highly recommend and worth the drive downtown!
Do yourself the pleasure of eating here, you deserve it. Located in Beautiful Federal Hill this donuts joint has fine art disguised as pastry. Every flavor is unique and done to perfection. Super friendly staff and awesome atmosphere for dine in. Boxes packed well for travelers on the go. They serve coffee and other drinks as well. For out of towners like me its well worth a trip on a Sunday morning. Go check it out!
The good:Employees very friendly. Facility very clean.Product quality bordering on excellent. The bad:Neighborhood is sketchy at best. The prices are too high for me. Hours of operation are weird.
Best donuts Ive had, ever! Rest of family loved everything they tried. Cleanliness, presentation of products, and friendly service are all priority to the staff here. They also recommended plenty of things to also check out nearby. I recommend everyone find a way to swinging by here when you are in town. It is a nice short walk from the inner harbor.
This place never fails man. It has great staff who care about their product. And customers. Their new location offers a lot more with a bar and grill set up but the doughnuts are still the main attraction. Always innovative and charming. The family loves coming here to get superb donuts. Quality and service is the name of the game and they nail it every single time, even when they dont have an item in available. Keep up the great work.
The 666 doughnut will surprise you. It was tastier by far than I would have thought, I bought one this morning after a fortuitous, random opportunity to taste one. Dont be afraid, do it.Im working my way through tasting everything on the menu and so far, everything has been really, really good.
Great doughnut spot in MD. Free parking nearby. Staff exercises Covid protocols and are friendly. Food was reasonably priced and was delivered quickly. The doughnuts themselves have great consistency and a variety of flavors. Not sure about the old bay doughnut but pretty much everything was delicious.
Some of the best doughnuts around! Dunkin has nothing on them!! Lol
Superb wide variety donuts, pricey but worth it,, good weight on it compared to other donuts,,delicious donuts in town,
More than just doughnuts! A delicious and affordable option!
Finally visited the new location. The donuts and service were fantastic. The cold brew is amazing!
First time experience/visit. One of the BEST customer service ever received. The ladies explained each donut and I loved the names π Will be returning soon
Fantastic donuts! Quaint, funky little shop that has a super kind staff and the most eclectically delicious selection of donuts! Definitely worth a weekend sugar rush!
Artistic, and interesting flavors. Taken as a whole though the donuts itself were kinda disappointing. The staff were nice
Some of the best donuts Ive ever had. Amazing taste, great quality and excellent and fun flavors
After spending $80 in this store for birthday donuts for my 3 year old I was not at all satisfied. I asked for regular flavored assorted shaped donuts and instead they gave me assorted shapes and flavors that a 3 year old will not eat claiming I asked for assorted flavors although the contract I agreed to says nothing about assorted flavors. One of those flavors was a bacon donut and my family doesnβt even eat pork. I called them to get replacement donuts because they were for a party and they told me that wasnβt possible. I asked them for a partial refund and they said theyβd call me back and I never got an email, call back or anything. I understand that there was a misunderstanding but a business is suppose to have good customer service and they did NOT. They were rude and didnβt take any responsibility for the misunderstanding and didnβt apologize. Note: I also spent $80 on cupcakes so it was not about the money I wanted them to replace the donuts if that could not be done I wouldβve taken a 50% refund.
Easily some of the best donuts in Baltimore. Get there early, otherwise they sell out quick. I canβt believe they arenβt more expensive, as their donuts are like desserts youβd get at an upscale restaurant. Theyβre delicious, and they hold well for a few days in case you donβt want to overload yourself in one day. :)Owners are super friendly and the donuts are perfect!
The Doughnuts were pretty good but Aaron was the real treat.
I might have a new obsession β€οΈπ©β€οΈ Stepped into Diablo today and completely missed my yoga class. Spending 2 hours in a donut shop eating Bacon Maple Donuts and sipping coffee should be illegal. Ross knows his shizz when it comes to the sweet luvin he puts into each and every eclectic little sugary, savory soft donut. Get a dozen variations and bring them to someone you love... including yourself!
Get in early because sometimes they run out of the best donuts! Funky little store with unique and delicious donuts plus decent coffee. Anything with cereal on top is good, but I know a lot of people gravitate towards anything with bacon. Bring a dozen of these exotic treats to your next office function and blow those Dunkin donuts out of the water!
Best Doughnut spot in Bmore. Hands down.. and the ppl that work there are Nice. which should be a given but i went to a place called Full Circle Doughnuts. They are supper rude to customers there. so i advise to stay away. and stick with the best. Diablo β Creme Brulee, Panty Dropper & Berry Cheesecake were off the hook. Sooo damn Good
This is a destination doughnut shop for sure and well worth a little longer ride. The doughnuts are large and, compared to Dunkin Donuts, an over-the-top spectacle of variety. The staff is very friendly and it is a great place to take kids. Prices are higher than youd pay elsewhere (around $3.00 per), but as I said, they are a lot of doughnut that you cannot get anywhere else that I know of.
Currently 130pm on a Saturday... closed?Update to respond to owner: If you look in the picture there is clearly no sold out sign. Also dont have hours if you cant honor them, its part of being a responsible business owner. If you repeatedly sell out and have to close early, simply make more product or change your operating hours.
Wonderful selection (even 1 hr before closing) and fantastic staff! Very nice and helpful! Tried 6 different donuts and all were amazing. Great flavors and not too sweet which was unexpected but just a wonderful flavor overall. I even loved that when I tried to tip, they said they dont take tips, they just ask that you spend that money in support of local businesses.
The best donuts around, no question! The staff is great. The new shop/location is great. Dont have enough good things to say about them.
My son and I love going here. The new spot is awesome and shows so much potential. Anytime someone comes to town itβs my excuse to take them here! One of Bmores hidden gems.
Great soft big donuts. Had the strawberry cheesecake. Great customer service and funky cool place.
They change their flavors often and there is always plenty of parking. Highly recommend!
Friendly, helpful staff, delicious doughnuts with a nice variety of unique flavors. Will definitely be back!
Awesome little donut shop by morning and pizza shop by evening. I canβt speak for the pizza, but the donuts were delicious! Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut for the win! Each donut has a funny name too. Their donut boxes are pizza boxes turned inside out. The shop is in a cool area too, so itβs ideal for walking and eating donuts.
My first time at Diablo and they are sooooo awesome. They will really get my money again. Friendly people Doughnuts are so fresh.
Intriguingly designed doughnuts, but the simple yeast base for elaborate icing is the kind of thing I usually try only once.Similar to shops selling brightly decorated cupcakes that vary only by icing (at least based on the ones I tried), these are more of an instagram thing or a place to bring a date.Unfortunately both of those draws are less compelling in a cramped shop whose shared space turns into a pizza joint at night. Their upcoming move to a larger space in Fed Hill may change that equation.
As close as you can get to Voodoo Donuts on the east coast. Nom Nom Nom
Very much a three star place for doughnuts. I love the vibe, but wish the doughnuts were as good as they look.First, the doughnuts are expensive. $3/ doughnut. I understand good ingredients are expensive, but you would think if they were this expensive they would make better doughnuts. They spend too much time making them look good, not enough time making them taste good. The fruit doughnuts are good. I mean really good. If its got a hefty layer of frosting and strawberries on top, its a winner. When I say doughnuts, I dont mean fritter. Lets all just pretend that apple fritter didnt exist; I think thats best for everyone. The non-fruit donuts are kind of dry, and just not that good. Chocolate, glazed, whatever, I tried them all. Disappointing, especially for a $3 doughnut. All of the doughnuts are on a timeline, you have until about noon to eat them, and they go rapidly downhill after that.Would I go here again? Yes. But only of the doughnuts has fruit on it. And no fritters.
Great customer service & the variety and taste of the doughnuts are worth the drive. π
Perfect Doughnuts! Texture amazing and big, no one likes overpaying for a small one. Great flavors, super tasty and great cute location!
Best yeast doughnuts in Baltimore. The yeast is fresh and not too heavy, achieving the right amount of dough in the doughnut. Their flavors vary from sweet to savory, so there is something for every palate. Each time Ive gone the employees have been very sweet to my daughter and pleasant with me. Yes, their prices are higher, but you get what you pay for.
Soooo GOOD!
Words cant describe
You guys are great at your job .awesome treats
Devilishly delicious, and worth all the calories and carbs! I couldnβt just have one, so I indulged and bought three and made my own tri-Fecta donut lol.I tried Red Velvet, Blackberry Lime, and Samoa (yes, like the Girl Scout cookie). Of these three, my fave is Samoa, and the cream on the red velvet was delightfully sinful π€€The customer service was also on par wit with the rating. Didnβt feel rushed to make my choices, which were many, so I will definitely come back to try their other creations. I hear Blueberry Basil πΏ is a must... so Iβm coming back for that ONE!
I love Diablo Donuts, especially to bring for office or friendly functions. They take COVID seriously which is great. I am always please when i go. They also have great tasting coffee options.
Late review but I wasnt going to forget to write this.. Frankly the doughnuts were good and the staff is pretty chill, but the owner is what turned me away from the business. Hes unprofessional and his tone is wack. He snapped at my mother and aunt. Then proceeded to be rude to me. So Ill gladly go somewhere else to get my doughnuts.
The staff is very friendly. The hype is real, I am a doughnut aficionado and this place is one of the better places. Im sad they dont have one in Los Angeles. Its hard to find a doughnut that has the right balance of crispy and moist not to mention fresh. They open at 7am and will close at 1pm during weekdays. 8 to 3 on the weekends.
Got up 20mins early to get to the shop to bring the goods to work. They should give me a got damn promotion for bringing these in. Just smashed a Dunkaroos and classic Cinn Crunch, while hamming a cold brew... I may die, but let my tombstone read, βworth itβ.... but yeah, Iβve been here a hundred times, itβs an essential stop in Baltimore.
Pre-ordered a dozen for Valentines Day and used their pick-up location at Blue Moon. Easy ordering, easy pick-up, and delicious doughnuts. Thanks!!!
These are the best donuts I think Iβve ever had. The dough is absolutely sublime, the texture is perfect and the yeast still comes through complimenting the creative flavor palettes put together for the top. My personal favorites are the panty dropper, coffee bean, sβmores and blackberry lime.
Donuts awesome and worth every penny. Customer service lacking. 1/16/21, Satuday, 8am, pre order pickup 14 donuts... she was rude, not a good listener and lumped the black folks together though we were clearly not and she repeatedly dismissed my saying Im picking up 8am pre paid order as if I was making it up. Another person heard me say it 3rd time and intervened, recognizing my name to the two boxes. Ugh. Makes me wanna holla. Otberwise... donuts are the best and a great #20 bday for my son. Just hate that it came with foolishness.
Have had their donuts many times! The flavors are interesting and reasonably priced for artisan donuts. The workers have always been kind and itβs always best to support local!
Delicious!, the doughnuts were cery fresh and tasty, I would recommend the unicorn farts doughnuts, perfect combination of flavors; not too sweet
Diablo Doughnuts is one of my favorite donut spots in Maryland! They have delicious yeast doughnuts that are light, delicious, and not sickeningly sweet. I love that they have more traditional flavor combinations as well as really unique, interesting flavors. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Get there early especially on the weekends to have your pick of flavors. The Unicorn Farts, Sin Crunch, and Rainbow in the Dark are my favorite standby flavors!
Simply put, these are the best doughnuts that you are ever going to have. Roz and Em are two of the best bakers I have had the pleasure of meeting and Andy at the front counter is an absolute dream. I cant wait to go back.
My favorite place. The donuts are SO GOOD.
Best doughnuts Iβve had! And huge not itty bitty like dunkin or some more fancy shmancy place where your paying gold for a quarter sized bite. The texture of these doughnuts is basically carb heaven.
Best doughnuts ever!!! Love supporting a small local business that cares about their product and their customers.
Starting off, these doughnuts are hands down the BEST doughnuts Ive ever had in my life. Period. Secondly, the customer service is spectacular. I emailed the owner to inquire about an order and he was prompt in responding back. When I went to order he was friendly and so was the lady who explained the menu and prices which were surprisingly reasonable. Will definitely and excitedly return!
Good donuts. Little more then I was expecting to pay. They had some interesting βflavorβ donuts. Staff were friendly and willing to explain what each donut was. They did have seating but it was very limited. If you are in the area, they are a nice treat to have.
Such welcoming customer service and creative, yummy donuts:)
Check this out I live in Reisterstown but this lil shop is way down deep down in the city. Is it worth the trip hell yeah dim delicious donuts are worth every bite,,, you gotta go try them out and no worries there fresh so you have some the next 2 days if you but more then 1 like me that isπ
The flavors are so shockingly good that the memory of eating a Diablo donut haunts you for hours after. Iβm in love.
Went for Dining Out For Life. Really good donuts with fun toppings. Interesting beverage choices. Relaxed atmosphere. Donuts are baked fresh, priced similar to what youd pay for a pastry at a coffee shop.
The doughnuts were meh... nothing really special.A byzantine ordering process, including some unwritten rules enforced by a couple diablo dudes made the whole experience unpleasant. No thanks... plenty of bakeries around town that offer better doughnuts and pastries without the pretention and anger.
