I recently saw Dr. Shah-Becker at the Hunt Valley office for a procedure. I was not looking forward to the appointment, but I was so impressed once I got there. The receptionist is wonderful and very efficient, the support staff was friendly and helpful too. Dr. Shah-Becker is an excellent listener and very patient, which made me feel way more at ease while the procedure was being performed. I cant say enough about how easy it was to schedule the appointment, check in, and be seen. The office is clean and bright and fitted out for Covid safety, everyone was masked and seating was distanced appropriately. It was super easy to get to and plenty of available parking right in front of the entrance. I appreciate how challenging it must be to provide ENT services during a pandemic, this group of people at this location are doing it really well!

Staff was great. They were friendly and helpful with both setting up the appointment and at the appointment. Dr Moses was AWESOME with my 3yr old daughter. If you have a child that needs a hearing exam, I strongly recommend getting an appointment with her. Even when my daughter was over being tested, Dr Moses adjusted her plans and worked with us without issue. 5 stars!!

A patient in the waiting room was holding her mask off her face and not wearing it right outside the exam room I was taken too. I asked why a patient was not wearing her mask and the tech or nurse kept not wanting to answer and said she would check into that later.. I repeatedly tried to get her to see why this person was not wearing the mask and what could be done. I stepped to the door and the patients mask was below her chin. I refused to be seen as they were potentially exposing me and were unconcerned about precautions, offered no solutions etc.. I asked to speak to the office manager on my way out-she came out with her nose completely uncovered. I told her what happened and asked her to cover her nose as she was not in compliance with state law. She repeatedly told me they take all precautions and after the 3rd or so slip of the mask off her nose she said her mask doesnt fit right! That is not acceptable. The nose is part of your airway! Please see the response, presumably from the office manager herself, who continues to deny the issue, as she denied it to me while there with her mask only partially on. You cant change what you wont acknowledge and their response to me was not concerned about or responsive to lack of compliance. The office manager not coming to work in a properly fitting mask over a year into this pandemic with rising numbers is concerning. My doctor is so good. He has a right to know you failed to respond to concerns from a patient who are themselves a medical provider. Or ANY patient for that matter. Safety involves looking into and responding to concerns.----Update--- I have requested and was able to speak to my doctor here and appreciated the opportunity to be heard. They have been looking into the issues mentioned above.

After speaking to several staff members who kindly attempted to assist me in locating my 1yr referral from his PCP, I was connected to a Ms. Maryam. She was the most unprofessional, rude, condescending staff member I have ever spoken to in my years as a Program Administrator professional. She cut me off in the middle of speaking, she placed me on hold in the middle of my thought, she then hung up on me after she was unable to accept my personal feelings about the service she provided me. I called back to speak with her superior and was informed it is Ms. Denise Wingard the Practice Administrator. I left a voice message and am awaiting a return call. I plan to take this as high as I possibly can. This is just my first step. My goal was to If you would like professional service please do not contact this office.

Edit: Dr. Hahn was great, very nice and informative. His staff on the other hand are disappointing. While the first woman that I spoke to was very pleasant, the two subsequent receptionists were very rude and gave me an attitude when I asked two simple questions - 1) Do I have to fill out a new patient intake though I had been a patient prior? (I was unaware that there was a three year gap between my visits), 2) How long was the doctor running behind? (I was not sure if she meant 20 minutes or an hour. My appointment was a telehealth appointment and I was at work.) This receptionist then hung up on me.

The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the ENT specialist had a very poor bedside manner. She did not really seem very interested in my condition, perhaps a simple inner ear infection is not challenging enough. I did not feel cared for and could not wait to leave the exam room. Also, after telling me I had fluid and air behind my eardrum she recommended they test my hearing at today’s visit. I declined, as obviously it would be abnormal. I’m not interested in unnecessary medical tests that are performed only for the sake f billing my insurance.

Dr Hahn operated on me for a nasal valve collapse. I am very pleased with the quality of life that he has restored for me. He is very very good. I have a very high level of confidence under his care and I am so glad that I found him. He also has excellent skills in cosmetic surgery, fillers and appearance enhancing procedures.

Years ago, I saw maybe three different doctors about recurring sinus infections that went on for over a year and all three of them either would keep prescribing antibiotics that didnt work and told me I needed surgery if I wanted to feel better. Dr. Dario Kunar was the last doctor I saw before I figured Id have to give in and get surgery to have relief--in one appointment, he did a thorough exam and asked a lot of questions no one else thought to ask, and got to the root of the real problem, which ended up being nocturnal silent reflux that was irritating my sinuses, causing chronic infections. After properly treating the real issue, Ive had maybe one random sinus infection in 8 years. He saved me an unnecessary surgery and expenses, and Im very grateful. If only I had gone to him first! Ive also seen Dr. Aaron Wood recently and he was great, too, as well as Dr. Shah-Becker. I have anxiety when it comes to my health and everyone Ive seen here is very patient and understanding, and I appreciate that so much.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! They bill your insurance company for tests you didn’t have done, put your child in harms way and now my son is paying the price for a doctors malpractice! Unprofessional and uneducated.

This is for ent associates, not my doctor. I love my doctor. I had an appointment for my 6 month check up on my surgery. I know doctor Kaplan is busy, but they failed to let me know that he was on vacation until the week before. So they cancel my appointment and tell me he’s booked till May. Seriously? I had an appointment for 6 months and now have to wait another 3! Like take someone else who doesn’t get their appointment and book them in May and let me take their appointment. I’m just annoyed with scheduling. Hence I had to see Doctor wood, but he’s also great. It just would’ve been nice if they told me sooner!Edit: I want to thank Doctor Kaplan for reaching out. My appointment with Doctor Wood was great and they both suggest I will benefit from hearing aids. I will be returning for hearing aids next week. I am thankful that both doctors are able to help me with my hearing loss and bad ears, and doctor wood thoroughly explained everything to me! Thank you for being great doctors (I’m changing from 3 to 4 because of doctors in the clinic)

Dr. Fletcher has taken care of three out of the seven members of our family. He has helped my husband and myself with sinus issues, but my biggest appreciation is that he helped our daughter when her ear was infected. Dr. Fletcher was kind and patient with my daughter who was petrified to have anyone touch her ears. I have referred many of my friends to him, and will continue to always do so.

I had an appt and was told by Marybeth (the nurse)results would be faxed to another hospital but to wait a few days so the results can be reviewed by the other hospital (basically doctor’s order to do a sleep study) i called 4 business days later and the hospital said they went through all orders and they did not receive any order for my child to get an appt for his sleep study. I called the ent clinic at gbmc at 3:56pm and was directed to a vm saying they are closed and will reopen on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday. Their hrs of operation states they are open 8-4:30pm mon-fri. So why shut down phones 34 min early? So now my child who has severe sleep apnea will have a delay in treatment all because results were not faxed and phones shut down early before a 3 day weekend. I’m not please with these ppl who have a job to do and doing half jobs especially when it comes to my child’s health! I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied with this office, the only reason I chose this place is because of Dr. Sultan period!

Best ENT group in Baltimore without question! I have been using them for years (myself, my parents and my children) and have seen several of their doctors (Kunar, Kaplan and Fletcher!). They are all fantastic! Although no one wants to have to go to the doctor, and navigating the health care system is a disaster in general, their office staff goes out of their way to make it as painless as possible. You cant go wrong with any of the docs in this practice!
