I bought my car July 2020, it’s April 2021 so I’ve waited a while to write a review. I had a very good experience for a first time dealership buy. The car wasn’t perfect but they allowed me to get the car I was interested in checked out by a mechanic before buying or putting an offer on it. After getting advice from my mechanic (Hometown Auto in Dover NH) the dealership was nice enough to fix what little work the car needed. I haven’t had any issues with my car. Thank you!!

They suck don’t buy anything for them they have a place in somersworth too the owner suck and not honest at all go to first city

We felt welcomed and greeted when we came in the door. We came back for some more information regarding the Toyota Hylanders a few days ago. Even though he was busy with another customer when we came in he asked his assistant to help us. He was was very friendly with amazing customer service skill and responded to our request and found the exact vehicle for us. My partner and I also worked out a deal for our trade-in and purchase price that worked for us. He took care of everything so that we could leave with the car today. I am particularly impressed by the fact that he was attentive and answered all our questions and explained everything about the vehicle. I could not ask for anything more. We are very happy with the service we received today and did not even feel any pressure in the purchase.

I think I received a Great deal. The staff is nice, and helped to pick the perfect vehicle for the size of our family. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Bunch of crooks and con-men, avoid this place if you want a reliable car, they sell rusty faulty cars and will lie about their condition, would even reset check engine light and tell you the car is fine so they can make a few bucks! Cant believe this place is not out of business yet!

Very friendly an infomed about all the vehicles they have. Willing to answer any an all questions pertaining to each. Funny & energtic Salemen. Very nice selection 2 stores if you dont find what you want at the first stop. Prices are better than fair!!! Nice clean cars. Would send all friends and family to go check it out.

Do not trust the pictures or descriptions on the website. I drove over an hour to come see a car that turned out to be a complete rust bucket. Dont let them waste your time like they wasted mine.

These people are complete crooks. I wish I read the reviews before they robbed me because all of them are true. After owning the truck for a month the transmission blew and when the mechanic put it on the lift he told us it was going to cost over 7,500 dollars to get an actual inspection sticker. Calef put a sticker on this truck 2 days before the transmission went. They also promised to fix a break issue the truck had and fix rust but never honored their word. They are the worst type of life form there is.

From personal experience this dealership is a ripoff warning they will try and SCAM you with their warranty which is absolutely useless it says it covers almost everything then when you go to bring it to a shop to get it fixed its not covered under warranty vehicles at this place are junk they try to make them look and seem decent. DO NOT GO THERE JUST ANOTHER SHADY CAR DEALER. Thanks to these guys got scammed bought a vehicle there not even a year ago and have had problems with it since the first month we got it. Not worth the 10 grand for a headache that never ends!

You need a car if you work. So you can make money...you know who will steal it from you? Calef auto auto....especially somersworth store. Went to buy a car and they had a bunch of shady cars. What a joke. And shady used car salesman. Jokeable to say the least. Lol

New and improved showroom. Management is awesome. Salesman is easy to work with.

People pay for reliable cars!! I know 3 people that have bought cars from this place 1 within a month and a half The car wouldnt drive right the other one,they just shut the check engine lignt off and then said that she must have done something to it while she was driving it (mind yku the person that was driving its a 76 yr old woman and she only drives to Hannaford not even 4 miles from her house and the post office which is the next st from her house) and had the vehicle for less then 10 hours! The 3rd they put some other engine in the car!! A REAL mechanic said thats not even the stock engine they put a cheap smaller engine in it!!

The behavior of the guy who works there was ridiculous. He kept pretending other people interested in the car are soon to arrive. After I decided to buy he car, he seemed like he sold sand to desert men.

We bought a Silverado there and they fudged the inspection to help it pass.ac didnt work,the front bearings were shot and front tire latterly fell off at the shop. Rusted frame and shot rims that leaked. Changed the breaks after a months.ya I kept it to try to drive it for work. Brought it in for a trade and they gave me the run around. So we traded it down the street at key auto.who gave me a good trade value on the pos. They didnt feel I would be safe in the truck so they ate the cost and gave me basically a new Ford escape. For the same payment as the truck..... dont go here.they dont honor there vehicles .

Calef Auto is still by far my favorite place to buy trucks.

Calef auto are RIP OFFS. full of lies. Apparently new hampshire doesnt care about inspections. Because a sticker got slapped on with inspectable parts that wouldnt pass inspection. Calef auto in somersworth is an inspection station too....imagine that. Shady!

Very greedy the website isnt updated to inventory or they withhold info of available cars . Wont even give u a vehicle history. Reminds me of first city cars . Also they use the same machinics as them which like to falsify info

Calef was selling a 03 Chrysler town&country limited. They told me it was NOT AWD only FWD.When the idiots found out it was a AWD, they told me it was sold, it was not. They just want to bring it back asking for more$$... Very deceitful... be leery when dealing with them....The testimonials on their web site were all written by themselves, what a joke!

Do not buy a vehicle fTom these people. I bought a 04 Ford explorer sport trac in April 2016. They through in bumper to bumper warranty for free. 6 months after my transmission went. And the warranty I supposedly had only covered $900.00 I had to come up with $750.00 the week before xmas. And the warranty place would only put in a used transmission. Now today the bracket tha t holds my rear shock snapped off. Ive tried calling this place several times to try to get my money back for the repair on the AC a week after I bought the truck and still to this day have not recieved the $90.00. I really think who ever isues the state inspections should look into this crooked ahop that just put lick me stick me stickers on the vehicalea. People work hard for there money and should not be getting rpiped off.

SO I WENT AND PUT OVER TWO GRAND INTO THE VEHICLE AFTER PUTTING 2500.00 DOWN WITH TWO MORE GRANDTHAT HAD TO BE PUT IN. WELL AS YOU GUESSED IT BECAUSE THIS DEALERSHIP DID NOT DUE THE HONORABLE THING KNOWING THAT THIS VEHILE NEVER SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE LOT DUE TO ALL OF THE PROBLEMS AND OF THE DASH LIGHTS COMING ON, OH, THOSE WILL SHUT OFF RIGHT UP THE STREET MY VEHICLE HAD TO GET REPOSED BECAUSE EVERY DIME HAD TO GO INTO IT WITH DRY ROTTED TIRES, A BACK END THAT SWAYED, THE RIGHT DRIVES WHEEL BARINGS GONE NOT TO MENTION THE STEERING RACK COMPLETELY GONE. Very dishonest people will never recommend to anyone I dont even believe real mechanics work there just a bunch of used car salesmen stay away from this place if you value your hard earned money and want a reliable vehicle.

Just drove off the lot and air bag light came on. Had the repair made by local vehicle dealer. $500.00! Asked for some compensation and was ridiculed. Buyer beware.

Sold my family a car that we later had to replace the entire engine. Its a rip off.
