I recently visited this dealership and purchased an awesome vehicle. I worked with Frank Yang and Chris Lima who were both amazing! I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service and attention to detail that was provided to me from start to finish. I was visiting from out of state and had only a few hours literally to make the entire transaction occur and Frank made sure that by the end of the day I was driving my beautiful new car home! I just want to say that Weve had this car for a few Years and Service for BMW was top notch The salesman Robert who was our salesman as well as the rest of the Guys at BMW have been amazing!!!! There was a weird situation that happened and it was taken care of right away and even when I got upset about something that We found out wasn’t there fault the Head of Service Department for BMW remained Professional and We found out what We Believed was the problem. If Your looking to Buy a BMW this is the Place!! That added warranty came in handy when We needed it and what I thought would be expensive to fix was cheap enough to pay cash!!!

Bought a certified 2018 Honda Ridgeline on June 29th from this dealership. Started to notice a noise coming from the vehicle on the expressway. IT was a loud whistling sound coming from the dashboard. I had recorded a video proving the noise coming from the vehicle and sent it to the sales rep. We also noticed that the sunroof was not sitting flush with the roof of the car. Pictures were taken and sent to the sales rep. This was all sent and notified to the dealership after having the car for a week. This was not a car I was planning to return but because the car was stated certified I as a consumer was under the impression the car went through a thorough inspection of the vehicle and theses issues should of not been missed. I contacted the dealership hoping these things would be taken care of because the car was just bought and it was claimed certified. Unfortunately the answers I have received from motorwerks technicians is these are the characterstics of the vehicle and they wont fix the issues. At first I almost believed them but when i dropped off the car for them to look at they gave me another Honda Ridgeline as a rental. Now with the same exact car the sunroof sits perfectly flush with the roof of the car and I have no wind noise coming from the dashboard when driving on the expressway. Bringing this up to motorwerks that the rental they gave me does not have these issues but they still told me it was the characteristics of the vehicle. As a consumer I feel very duped in purchasing a car from motorwerks. I wish I can add the photos and videos to this review but it looks like I cant. For all the bragging motorwerks does about there customer service and rating, please show me now how great it is. Motorwerks still has my vehicle and I am still hoping for the best!Looks like I was able to add a couple of photos. THe first picture is of the ridgeline i bought which sunroof does not sit flush. the second photo shows car was advertised as certified. 3rd photo shows of the rental ridgeline they gave me and shows the sunroof is actuallly flush and not a characteristic.

Everything was great until they forgot to put in the charging plug in my cayenne e hybrid. I tried contacting them for 2 days now, zero responses that aren’t automated.They even asked me for a review. What a joke. I expect all the parts to be there when I buy a $100,000 car.

We bought a Mercedes in the month of June. Still waiting for the title. Sales and service both are non responsive. I am really disappointed with the service that I got. Even though I have followed up multiple times my bank has not received the title from the dealership. I am on the verge of default thanks to motor werks. None ever answers the darn phone. Ever. And to top that they rarely call back.

Everytime I visit Motor Werks Im greeted with a smile. Very cozy, friendly and clean Dealership. I always stop by to visit my sales man Infiniti (Mark Smith) hes always pleasant. Most salesmen after the deal ignore you NOT Mark hes just as helpful, compassionate and friendly like the first day I met him. I truly recommend you to buy your next vehicle from him (Mark). Its worth the 45min drive from Chicago.

We had a great experience purchasing our family vehicle with Mitch. He was knowledgeable and extremely patient with us. He let us know about all our various options and was up front about everything. Never felt like we were being kept in the dark. The best part of it all was that he was able to bring our interest rate down from 5.36% to 3.79%!! Our experience dealing with the Motor Werks Group was Top Notch, from our Salesman Matts quick response to our inquiry to driving away after signing a deal, it couldnt have been better. We dreaded another day at the dealership, haggling back and forth, then shuffled off to a little office to sign your life away. They dont do that here and youll notice the friendly, open atmosphere immediately. Matt, Phil and Gino were all wonderful to work with and Id recommend them to anyone for your next vehicle.

Family has been a customer for about 25 years and 7 cars. The current Motorwerks service department is such a far cry from the customer service focus it had in previous years. I can’t be the only one who has noticed this; everything from the frequent turnover in staff (talk to a former employee and you’re in for a treat), to getting rid of the payment window in the waiting area tells you all you need to know…I used to speak glowingly to friends, “I know it’s a bit more expensive, but the customer service is worth it to me”…not anymore. Now it’s just more expensive with none of the perks that go with that.

Bought a new Mercedes and Porsche, along with a BMW lease here. They have the usual hard sell unnecessary add-ons before they hand over the final bill. At least they are pleasant about it. If you want a good price, you need to dig deep to find it here. They do have a good selection of cars and an on-site Starbucks bar for patrons showing up early in thr day.

Quick shout out to Dean Dimitri! I dealt with some joke dealers yesterday and motor werks was amazing! I called 20 minutes ahead of coming, and while driving there Dean called me to see what car I was interested in, and made sure it was ready to hop in the second I got there. I had some other cars on my list, and due to their inventory, they were able to let me check those cars out at the same time. I wasnt planning on buying a car, but there was no pressure, and after leaving, I came back with my family to ensure the car I wanted was right for us...Due to my indecision, I made them stay after hours to finalize the deal (my bad), but they took care of everything! Couldnt be happier with the purchase. Always check pricing and dont be dealer loyal, but I got a gem at a more than fair price. Will definitely work with them in the future if they have what Im looking for!

Terribe business. I called and was interested about an RS3 on there lot. Was told the car was sent to auction but if I wanted it they would bring it back. I said yes they ran my credit 7 times and then magically the car that was supposedly brought for me get sold. Proceeded to call the used car manager and told him how It seemed like you sold it to someone because you guys wanted to make more money even though my credit had been ran 7 times. Figured that was enough to hold a car. He proceeded to say wouldnt you do the same if you were in my situation? Clearly stating that he sold the car to someone else because he saw more profit in it even though I had dealt with them back and fourth for a week. Motor werks Honda used car manager everybody.Be careful out there.

I purchased an Audi TTRS from this dealership, car was sold to me with very worn, dry rotted, and cracked rear tires. On initial inspection made the dealership aware and I was told by the service manager they were ok and passed safety inspection, in what ways do these tires pass? brought to my mechanic and was told I need to have them changed out before winter, This was an expensive car and it reflects poorly on the dealership and the owners that they allow this to be sold to me on a car that is 2 years old, now I have to spend $1,300 to get a whole new set for winter. Would not buy from here again.

Bought a vehicle here recently for the wife. Was disappointed at how the sales people are so casually dressed now. Had no idea who a customer or salesperson was. When you are buying a luxury vehicle, you don’t need the salesperson dressed like they are doing a backyard bbq. Some professionalism in appearance would be nice. I highly recommend I had a little problem with the sales guy telling me I would get 2 keys. Well at the end of the deal he said it was misplaced and he will get me another after a few days of trying with him and getting there I talked to John fish’s manager and he took care of me cut me a check for another key. I live in Texas and purchased a vehicle over the phone and internet with Barrington Motor Merks. I like my sales person, Sharon Lee, but the entire purchase process was less than desirable. Based on my experience, here are some things to think about if you are purchasing a CPO vehicle from Barrington Motor Werks:(1) even though the pictures look really great, make sure to ask if there is a clear bra on the car and whether it is a half bra. This never showed up in the pictures and it wasnt disclosed. On a dark navy car, it looked terrible in person. I had to pay to have it removed.(2) if you have the windows tinted through their guy, make sure they understand your states tint requirements AND that their guy takes into consideration any factory tint. Texas is 25% which I relayed to the dealership. But when I took the car in for inspection, it didnt pass because it was darker by 6% and I had to pay to have the tint removed and replaced.(3) line up your own transport. When I took delivery, the car was dinged, scratched, and dented. $3,000 of damage repair. While Motor Werks made good on the repair cost, the car was in the shop for two weeks and took all the joy out of getting a new car.While I was thankful Motor Werks made good on the damage caused during transport, they did not take responsibility for the tint and could have done a better job of disclosing imperfections, flaws, and items you cant see in pictures. Dont rely on their description of the car.

Wife and I reside in the Quad Cities. We were in the market for a preowned vehicle. We came across Motor Werks in Barrington, IL via their website. M.W. had the vehicle we were looking for. We decided to take a road trip for the weekend and do some car shopping. We got into contact with Mr. Salmaan Bokhari (pronounced Solomon) and set an appointment for a meet/greet/test drive. As usual, we were late but this wasnt an issue with Mr. Salmaan. He was able to reschedule us, for a later time. Unfamiliar with the area, the dealership appears to be in the middle of a Chicago suburb. It was like arriving at Disney World. M.W. dealership is huge. Their used car manager should receive a raise because their inventory is amazing. We browsed the lot and I was in car heaven. Porsche, Mercedes Benz, BMW and Lexus to name a few of the brands that were available. Connected with Mr. Salmaan and we went on a test drive. The surrounding neighborhood, around the dealership, allows you to get up to speed, during your test drive. Loved the car so we moved forward to purchase the vehicle. We were introduced to the Sales Manager. The sales and finance team should all be recognized for their courteousness and professionalism. M.W. showroom is another amazing showcase of amazing vehicles. Refreshments were available. Ive purchased many vehicles in my time and the transaction at M.W. was like no other. We had a trade, and we were offered a fair price and was shown the actual dealer value of the vehicle. This usually never happens. There was no haggling. There was no, hey let me talk with my manager to see if we can do that, type of funny business. Everything was straight forward. We came to terms and now we are the proud owners of a wonderful, preowned vehicle. Transitioned to the Finance Manager, and this was another pleasant interaction. All paperwork was explained. Everything went smooth. Touched bases with Mr. Salmaan. He told us that the vehicle was in line to get detailed. We understood so we relaxed inside the comfortable waiting room until the vehicle was ready. Upon delivery of our new vehicle, we were thanked for our business, shook hands, then parted ways. I would like to recognize all the excellent staff that my wife and I came into contact with, at M.W., and we thank you for an excellent car buying experience. We would highly recommend shopping at Motor Werks Barrington. M.W. has excellent inventory (multiple showrooms/locations), excellent staff, excellent showroom and prices are fair. Come experience Motor Werks Barrington. Last but not least, I accidentally left my house keys inside the trade. Mr. Salmaan took it upon himself to overnight the keys to me. I offered to pay but he would not accept. This type of service is unheard of and for his kind act, I am grateful. Thanks again Salmaan.

Poor customer service if you aren’t there to buy one of their brand new cars. The salesman doesn’t care about you, their online rep doesn’t even care about to communicate with their sales department that you are coming in from 5 hours away to look at a car. Their “manager” apparently passes on incorrect information to their salesman’s which is contrary to what their finance guy has to say. These people aren’t on the same page. The salesman make up excuses, I probably heard at least an hour worth of excuses come out of his mouth. Could not even give me a second key or floor mats after dropping $40k on a car. Did not even walk me through the car after I purchased it to educate me on the features. There were several key features such as locking the doors via the door handles were turned off. Still haven’t figured out why my remote start doesn’t work on a 2017, will have to figure that out on my own. If you want to go to a dealership that doesn’t care about you as a customer, make this one high on your list.Edit: I was able to reach out to their “manager” and they were able to ship me some floor mats! 4 stars for addressing the issue.

I almost lost my faith in Honda after having several engine problems due to Honda Corporate not conducting a recall and the extended warranty company denying claims. Manuel Sosa at Honda Service worked hard for me as an advocate by getting support from Honda and by managing the technician team to completely fix my car after a 3 month battle. I almost walked away from Honda and Motorwerks, but the dealership and Manuel Sosa performed professionally and thoroughly. I will be returning to Motorwerks for another car this summer.

The dealership called for recall for airbag under the glove compartment, after fixing they called me to pick up the car, went home as soon as I got home I tried to open the glove compartment to put the paper work then unable to open it. I was wondering what happened cause when I went to the dealership it was still working, I called them many times to ask what happened, they just told me I need to go back there so they can fix it. Tha following day the dealership told me the latch is broken so I have to pay for it, I was kinda upset cause I know it was working before and I know theyre the one broke it. Im not happy the way they handled it.

I have a small problem with the title because I live in Indiana and they not only resolve the problem but sent me a check and paid for my title transfer as well.They handle everything efficiently and professionally. STAY AWAY the loaner program @ land rover Hoffman which is owned by this group has the worst service and support i have ever experienced my wife couldnt get a loaner for 6-8 weeks that is completely unacceptable especially when my dealership of choice St. Charles MB has loaner ready on demand for customers that is service.. To recap MW has great vehicle selection however if service, customer support and access to loaners is important STAY AWAY from this group.

Bought a certified Q50 from them in 2016. It had 11,000 miles and I was told by the dealer it was a demo and I was first on title. I was not informed the car had been in a front end wreck. Multiple body panels on the front were replaced and welded back into the car. Was also told it had frame damage that was repaired. I never had it inspected closely because the car had 11,000 and they kept the Carfax clean. The accident magically appeared on my Carfax over a year after the collision and well after I already bought the car. Really really shady deal. I had people asking me at the dealer....oh your buying that Q50??? Youll be first on title. That was a lie because it was titled already to a buyer before me AND they COVERED up a MAJOR accident on the vehicle. What a shady place that I will NEVER do any business with again. I SHOULD get lawyers involved but its not worth it. I traded my Q50 away and washed my hands of it. Dont trust what they say without investigating their claims and have a body shop look over any used car here. Theyll put stuff on the lot before the Carfax catches up to the collision being reported.
