Pharmacy was rude as hell. I stood there for quite a while as the two pharmacists ignored me. one of them finally asked if I “had a question.” when I explained that I was there for my booster, the guy looked at me crazy and asked for proof of a diagnosis that clarifies my eligibility. nowhere on their scheduling info do they state you will need this information but it was no problem. I showed him my medication under the healow app where it offers patient info and he said that wasn’t sufficient enough because it didn’t have my name on it (it does). he didn’t propose another option. I offered to have my neuro fax verification of my diagnosis, the guy nodded and then walked away without even giving me a fax number. then I sat and waited an additional half hour after my neuro sent the fax while the pharmacists worked on other things. it seems like unless they know you personally, they don’t care to assist you much. another customer showed up while I was waiting and seemed annoyed at how long it was taking to even acknowledge her. meanwhile, I’d already been there hours to get a booster I scheduled. I will never come back for anything. glad I got my booster out of the way but this was a terrible experience. very frustrating.
I love this CVS ! I am new at couponing and the person who helped me was very nice especially for working the overnight shift. Thank you to that man!
Came here because you were 24 hrs. Prices much higher
Well you wait at least 2 hours for a prescription when Kirby Whitten Pharmacy is almost across the street. Not only lazy pharmacists (not all). Relatives have had narcotic painkillers missing from the pharmacy count. I have not but I will not give them an opportunity. The managers and non pharmacy staff are absolutely awesome.
The last 5 times I have filled prescriptions at this location, I have had to wait an extra 20 or 40 minutes. Even after receiving a text stating my prescription was ready, when I went to the drive through, they were not ready. Today I called them in at 11:30 went and had dental surgery, and came to pick up my ready and filled prescription, I was told it wasnt filled. I had to wait 20 minutes for them to fill it. The second time around the same thing. It hasnt been filled but we will do it now, please wait 20 minutes. Third time, SAME THING AGAIN, it hasnt been filled but we will do it now. I drove up to the drive through now after being in agony for an hour, same excuse again. Finally I went inside and it took 5 minutes. Im not sure if there is a breakdown in communication between the pharmacy ans the dentist, but after the first time it wasnt filled the only reason I can think of is employee incompetence. This has happened the last 5 prescriptions Ive have filled there.
No Pfizer vaccines, even thought I had gone to other cvs….
The place was empty and NP for the minute clinic acted as is she didn’t want to be bothered. Redirecting us online to schedule a covid test when we were already inside store. Absolutely stupid
I cant believe how nasty the bathroom is. I had to use the bathroom and it was disgusting. Please hire someone to clean it.
Awful customer service attitude for no reason you dont like your job find another
How the minute clinic takes forever only one person working and she doesn’t seem concern or urgent about the patients she’s taking her time
CVS gets 3 stars because of their pharmacy. They are above and beyond better than Walgreens. The store at CVS has the nicest and helpful people you can find unlike almost all other stores. The pharmacy has double the people often than Walgreens. But they were not prepared for the huge amount of customers they got from Walgreens being greedy. So they have literally 4 chairs to sit in. But thats not the issue. They also handled the vaccine and covid test appointments perfectly. The issue is that they take forever to fill normal prescriptions and will lie to you that others are ahead and your the only person there. Its very frustrating!! I will add photos of all this when I go there next.
Called ahead and scheduled a Rapid covid test. Was told 15-20 mins and someone would call me with results. Called a hour after waiting and was told to be patient that someone would call me. 3 hours later and still no call. So called back and Was told to call tomorrow and ask if results were ready that testing person was gone for the day. Very unprofessional and nothing rapid about it.
This is the most frustrating CVS. I havent had issues with other CVS living in Memphis, Utah, Texas... but this one is maddening. You cant get a straight answer out of anyone you speak to. My providers and doctors office will call and just get as frustrated as I do. The low star review for this CVS is so accurate and I usually give a business a chance regardless of their stars but this is the exception. Covid or not. The people you talk to not only untrained and unprofessional but inconsiderate and disrespectful. My doctors office is well aware and has sent complaints to CVS corporate center before I was ever a patient. Other CVS techs laugh when I told them Im struggling with this specific CVS. Its nothing new, apparently. Their reputation is so awful. I dont care if its 24 hours, dont do it its not worth the stress.
Slow almost snail like service . Been in the drive thru with 2-3 cars and and it’s taken on average 30-45 min . They don’t seem to ever have enough staff. I will day they are friendly though just super slow .
I mostly go to this location for the MinuteClinic. I have always been satisfied with the service received from Sally and Porsche (sp?). On my most recent visit I was seen by Thanh Nguyen. He was phenomenal! He really cared and it showed. He even called to check on me two days later. That has never happened! The pharmacy staff is ALWAYS helpful and efficient. Sammy and Tanya are especially great! I appreciate their hard work and care for their patients.
First time ever being in a CVS hopefully my last. Terrible customer service on the pharmacy part.
They screwed up my prescription 4 times in 5 days. Each time I came back I had to wait in the forever line. Finally on day 5 it was correct. I get text messages once a month stating my scripts are ready for pickup even though I only fill them every 90 days. I’ve had the same conversation with them about that at least 8 times. I changed my address almost 3 years ago and have attempted on several occasions to get them to update with no success. As of last month it still hasn’t been changed. The only reason I use this pharmacy is because of insurance.
Quite possibly the worst large chain in America. This location is awful, the staff is rude, the prices are too high. The MinuteClinic here is OK but other than that, this store underwhelms at every opportunity.I am literally going out of Network and going across the street to Walgreens. It will cost more and Walgreens aint great but its better than this sh-thole CVS
I wish I could give this CVS a higher score. The CVS floor associates are frankly amazing and friendly. However the CVS pharmacy staff are a different story. It is as if they dont care about their customers who are waiting for any type of assistance. I have seen them chit chat with each other while are customers waiting. I have waited a ridiculous amount of time to drop off a prescriptions or pick them. I have been as patient as I possibly can. I have also been on phone limbo for more than five minutes waiting for someone to answer. I understand being understaffed, but at some point being understaffed starts being an excuse and fairly upsetting.Edit:Shout out to Mr. Faust for being prompt with an email and being willing to listen to concerns. I greatly appreciate the fact he took the time out of his day for one of his customers.
This is the worst pharmacy ever! I was on hold for 17 minutes before anyone picked up the phone. I have also waited 3 hours while in the pharmacy for a simple refill! I dont know if they are understaffed or what, but someone should make some customer service changes! I will never go here again!
The man at the pharmacy didn’t even pay us any attention but he payed the mailman some attention and didn’t even acknowledge us and he didn’t say hold on or wait one minute, nothing.
Love this location! The customer service of the staff in the store and pharmacy is great!!! My daughter and myself visit at least 2- 3 x / week. We are always greeted, once in store and made aware of any clearance items./inside specials.
I thought these 1 star reviews were exaggerated but they legit. This pharmacy is straight trash. We have been dealing with them for an entire MONTH because they’re using a lab that’s causing medication allergic reaction. The doctor has even sent in the prescription form explicitly STATING it needs to be with a different lab but these people are too incompetent to follow basic instructions. Week 1 we requested the change, they said they’ll order it. Week 2 we still have the bad medication being filled so they order a new one. Week 3 same issue. Week 4 same issue.
Very frustrating, called yesterday morning to ensure monthly prescription refills were being processed for pickup. Arrived this morning on way to work, nothing ready had to wait to get meds, caused me to be late for work. They are open 24 hrs, and cant get prescriptions ready with 24 hour notice!! What is up with that??
Tasia was so helpful, friendly, and kept a big, beautiful smile in her face the whole time! But, the other employee, I think her name was Katrina, I couldn’t really see her name badge, was singing obnoxiously loud and laughing.
Doctor called in a prescription for my 8 year old and 6 hours later after work I find out that not only did they not have it but they canceled the order and didnt tell me prior to me trying to pick it up. They told me to try a different store but when I went to the Walgreens down the street this CVS never answered their phone to transfer their prescription. This isnt the first time theyve disappointed me so Im done with then.
Always a long wait. At the counter, at the drive thru and on the phone. The pharmacy is under staffed. At the moment Im on hold and its been 14 minutes and still no one has picked up. Im doing my best to have Caremark removed as our insurance. This has been a problem for years.
Horribly slow and apathetic staff. 35 hours and they only prepared one of five scripts. Im done with this dump. I just read the recent reviews. This place has enough bodies, they just dont care.
Stood in line for 20 minutes attempting to drop a prescription off. Walked out with 4 other people.Only thing more upsetting is 2 employees laughing and joking about something while there were at least 3 picking up scripts and 5 waiting in line to drop off.
Hope your not seriously Ill and need your prescription fast. 3 1/2 hours or more is the wait time. I waited 5 mins in the window just to get an associate to tell me it will be an additional 10 minutes. Go to Walgreens.
Echo all one star reviews regarding service and staff. CVS used to be a great pharmacy but hasn’t been in a long time. Making the move to a different pharmacy, done with this
I have used the pharmacy for the last 6 months. At first, they were okay but the longer I used them the worse they got. The pharmacy is managed by the pharmacist, who knows absolutely nothing about managing staff. The pharmacy staff Ive dealt with seem to not want to be there and have no customer service skills. They are the most indifferent and inconsiderate people. This CVS needs to get someone who knows how to manage people to run the pharmacy. The only reason I gave one star is because the rest of the store is fine.----------------------- 2nd Post-----------------------------After reading your post, Jeff Foust, I changed my rating to 3 stars. It is good to know that you care enough about the pharmacy you run to read your reviews. I do hope you can get your staff organized and treating customers with compassion. I have to admit that I have seen you interact with customers in a very positive way, but I can honestly say that Ive never seen any of the other pharmacy staff interact positively with customers. They seem to be so unhappy and really are indifferent. Ive been there when youve been filling prescriptions and the ones you had filled were overflowing and falling to the floor where they sat waiting to be put away properly. You have worked hard to become a good pharmacist. Hopefully, you will find professional and kind staff in the future to work with you. I wish you the best in working with them.
Meds not ready when promised. I was told they would fill it asap. Now 3 hours later...definitely going to take my business elsewhere.
Staff is rude. Had to wait for a prescription for an hour and half after being discharged from the hospital. And they didnt have any other customers in at the time but me. Staff was to busy talking about their personal lives. Let me stress the only reason I dare use this pharmacy is because of our insurance. Corporate needs to come on and see how this location is being ran. And maybe start over with a new staff that is trained properly. With good work ethic and integrity.
This pharmacy is negative 100 stars!! Why ask me for what time I want to pick up my medication and not get it ready on time? I said I could pick it up in an hour. They said ok. I gave them a little time so I get there an hour and a half. When I picked up my prescription, I had to wait 45 mins because it’s not ready yet!!! Man!
I don’t know who trains these pharmacy people but they have the worst attitude I see why Walgreens is always busy. And the pharmacist doesn’t charge he has the worst attitude and I see where the rest of them get it from. Somebody needs to look into this look at their reviews they got more and one star than anything. And the person in charge their the main pharmacist his name is Jeff he is the worst.
A relative from out of town was visiting and began having an asthma attack but forgot her rescue inhaler at home. As a healthcare professional, I knew primatene or bronkaid would help her symptoms. The pharmacist asked for her symptoms and ID. He then claimed he can’t sell it because the entire nation wide system that scans in OTC asthma meds was down and he can’t sell it. He said it doesn’t matter where we go, they won’t be able to sell it. I knew he was lying and went to Walgreens and got it no problem. Her symptoms resolved and she was able to safely catch her flight out of town shortly after.
I work in a doctors office. We ADVISE our patients to NOT use this pharmacy. The staff are complete morons!! Go across the street to Kroger! They know what they are doing and Kroger is a lot cheaper than CVS or Walgreens.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. They could care less about customers - I can’t believe they think they can stay in business like this. Trust me CVS - people vote with their dollars. I’m going back to Walgreens and pay for my meds out of pocket - that’s how bad you are.
Horrible service. Dropped off prescription and was told it would take only an hour. Come back two hours later and they say it’s not finished. I call to see if it’s finished an extra 3 hours later and they never take me off hold even after being on hold for 15min. My moms had horrible experiences as well. Will never come back after picking up my medicine 9 hours later. 4:30pm8:30pm***Michael who was working the night shift on 9/17/18 made my experience a lot better with his friendly and welcoming attitude. Thank you Michael***
This is the slowest store I have ever tried to get a Rx from. I just recently change to try out CVS. They are RUDE and SLOW. If you pull up at the window they will stand back there and not even acknowledge you are there. Stay away from the CVS on stage rd in Bartlett
Slooooow....pharmacy staff is nice. But ran like robots ...they just seem to be understaffed with limited/area space to work in. Phone line OMG is not any better...youre on hold forever. Advice would be go super early or late night! 😩
CVS should be ashamed for how short staffed this place is. The people are friendly but on busy days they can’t keep up because of poor staffing. It’s not their fault... it’s the company’s!!
Drive thru is suppose to be faster. I feel like Im in line at McDonalds. They never have the right staff. They cut the staff so that more money goes in to the CEOs pocket. Unfortunately CVS is what I have to use. Thank Obamacare for socialized medicine.
Theres always a long wait on the phone and in the store. Most of the time if I go in to buy something other than prescriptions, no one is at the front. The last time I went in I tried to buy something on sale. The lady rang it up before I entered my card info, and I couldnt enter it in afterwards. Rather than canceling the transaction so we could redo the purchase, she insisted it was too late for me to get the sale price. Really?? I just left.
The pharmacy puts you on hold for 15 plus minutes and they seem very understaffed. The one on Germantown is much better...TAKE THAT BACK!! Both are horrible !! Go ANYWHERE ELSE!!
This is the worst pharmacy and staff EVER! However, the staff is never the same. They must go through their staff like they do their customers that they no longer have. I would use Walgreens in a heartbeat if my insurance didnt insist that we use a CVS.
Has taken over 50 mins to get one prescription. Absolutely ridiculous
Iwant to send a shout out to Jeff Faust! He has done a wonderful job at CVS. I sure is has been hard turning things around. But I have gone some of the best customer service in the last 2 weeks by CVS techs. Than I have ever gotten as CVS in 8 years. Jeff has always been very easy to deal with CVS is lucky to have you. The lasts 4 times i have gone up to the pharmacy. The workers are so nice and helpful and listen to what you need and seem to care. The lady that has helped me mostly is Contessi she is so sweet and helpful. For all the CVS customers! If you download the CVS app and sign up. You can get Rewards for your meds that you already take and get free 5 dollars at CVS for every 10 fills. Also it makes your pick up process so easy just scan your app at pick up. You can also sign and pay from your phone. You can pay before you pick up under Express pickup. Technology is at your fingertips. It can make your life so much easier.I would love to go to any other place. But my insurance is CVS only. I have been using this location for over 5 years. The last 3 have gotten so bad. The store is good but the pharmacy is the worst I have ever used. It takes to long to drop off and pick up in the drive thru. Last week they had a sign on the window to come in to pick-up. I had to get my toddler out of the car and take her in to a germy place in the middle of flu season. There was a guy sitting and waiting on meds coughing. With my daughter 4 feet away. Today I dropped off around 4pm. Never received a text stating any info about my meds. The app. says it is being processed at 4am. I dont even waist my time trying to call the store anymore. You never get help or nobody knows anything. I just dont expect much from them so I dont get as mad. I have talked to customer service many of time. The place never changes.
Seem under staffed. Evan was one of the kindest pharmacist. No longer there.
After going through the punch 1, punch 2 phone menu to ask a simple question, I was put on hold for 27 mins. I called back and when asked if they could put me on hold, I emphatically said no Id already been on hold for almost a half hour. I got a time estimate for the prescriptions to be picked up and waited a few mins. more before leaving the house. When we got there we still waited 15 mins. I have never picked anything up from this CVS that didnt involve a 20 min plus wait time. They are always understaffed.
Every time I have come here lately it’s been a huge hassle! Extremely poor and Slow service in pharmacy!
Terrible Customer Service in the Pharmacy itself by the young man himself. Wont take the the time to help solve a problem, instead trys to put blame on customer. Will take my business elsewhere!! Jeff Faust you need to read your own review once again to remind yourself of your initial intentions of trying to improve customer service, because your attitude and behavior with me was disrespectful to say the least. You cant judge a book by its cover. Shame on You!!!Okay, Mr Faust you refused to fill my prescription until the 24th, here it is the 25th and I have not received a notification that it has been filled. Have you taken it upon yourself to refuse to fill my prescription and if so where is my prescription?? I will take it to Walmart!! Thank you very much!!Update August 2nd 2018 Okay, I cant totally blame the pharmacist for not filling my prescription because I did tell him what he could do with it !! ( I told him that he could keep it, that I was not a dope head) I simply needed my Tramadol 50mg for me to be able to sleep due to a fascotomy of the left lower left leg that I was still recovering from July 16th 2018 which my doctor prescribed to me. I really didnt know that a pharmacist could disregard a written prescription just because he was told to by the patient. I figured I would get an email like I usually do to let me know that it had been filled. But anyway, Good Job, Mr. Faust!! You are the Boss !! I guess you are above the law!! Because I didnt get an email and I have know idea what you did with my prescription !! I hope you notified the doctor who wrote it !!!
The staff are very helpful, kind, & knowledgeable.
Great staff. Friendly and professional. Good pricing.
I use to LOVE this CVS. However, idk what has happened to the staff! They are beyond rude and the customer service is H O R R I B L E ! I had a very bad situation with a pharmacy tech by the name of Elaine. Without verifying my prescriptions she off top told me that they were fake and I just got them from the Dr that day! She also stated that she was the actual pharmacist. Thats not true. The pharmacist is Dr. Lyons. After She spoke rudely to me I took them to Walgreens and got them filled with no issues at all! I made a customer complaint to corporate and I will make sure this situation gets handled accordingly. I will however thank Shameka, the pharmacy tech manager bc she was able to clarify that Elaine is NOT a manager. Be careful going there!
Avoid this place at all cost. Ridiculous waits....
Still waiting in the drive thru and there has only been one car in front of me this whole time. It’s been 30 minutes now. Ridiculous. Never again will I use this pharmacy
I waited for 35 minutes in the drive-through lane with only 4 cars ahead of me. Only one lane is open and they do not use the tube lane. This location is and has been short of people for ever. 03/03/2020
Would rather pay full price somewhere else than have to use this pharmacy.
Couldnt get my prescription filled after going to not one, but two CVS pharmacy locations. After waiting I was told that I couldnt get my prescription filled because the doctors handwriting couldnt be read and they had no record of the urgent care sending my prescription over. There should be a way of looking physicians up. This is utterly ridiculous. All I wanted was antibiotics.
Spoke with a very rude attidual black woman in the pharmacy. She had a very nasty attitude was not trying to offer any help huffed and puffed when I asked her a question or to look up information. I will be changing pharmacies.
Dropped off prescription on Tuesday and they said it’d be a few hours, it’s now Friday and it’s just now ready to be picked up
Just ok. Not much selection in comparison to other locations.
The most rude, incompetent staff at this pharmacy. They all need to be fired.
It wouldn’t let me do ZERO STARS.Just. Go. To. Walgreens.
Love the pharmacy.
Very friendly employees up front but Pharmacist isnt friendly at all.. CVS has him understaffed in his opinion..
I had to amend my previous 1-star review because the culture of this place seems to have turned around.
Will be moving my prescriptions somewhere else. When you tell someone a time and it is 36 hours after being dropped off and its 3 hours after said time and still not ready. Time to give my 100 dollars a month to someone else.
Slowest pharmacy drive thru ever!!!!
Wait an HOUR for prescription is RIDICULOUS!!!
Good offers
