Called for a faulty circuit board which resulted in my opener working intermittently. Called and technician came out the next day but by that time the opener was working normally again. Technician stated he would wait until it goes out again and have them come back out and confirm if it is the circuit board. Paid $75 service fee and was told to call when it went out again. Next day opener would not work and I called at 4:45 and left message to call me back and that the opener was inoperative.No call so I called the next morning, no answer, called an hour later no answer called again at 10:30 again no answer and left another message. By the end of the day I called another company that came out and replaced my opener the following day. Its now been 2 days and Bartlett Garage Doors still has not returned my call. Guess they dont need money or business.

Address for office is not correct and no one will ever answer the phone to get correct address. Dont take the time to drive down there you will be disappointed they are not at the address given, a different company is. You would think they would update the info online for the customers....a little shady maybe!

Just love my new garage door and especially the price. I was able to have my new door installed with in 24 hours as promised. I wanted a simple white garage door, went to the website and ordered it. The service man came out to look at everything and scheduled the new door for the next day. This is a great local company with a great team of workers who seem to work well together. Bartlett Garage should consider improving their customer service. I had to pursue avenues to get a refund after the company didn’t return to complete promised work on my garage, and refused to return calls.

Great experience! Called on a Thursday, scheduled for Friday. They had to reschedule and communicated that with me quickly. Tech arrived early Monday and installed new motor, sensors, remotes in a couple hours. Price was much less than I expected.

HORRIBLE customer service, I wish I could leave 0 stars. I had two appointments scheduled for a technician to come out for service to my garage door opener. Both appointments were skipped by these so called professionals with no phone calls for cancellation either time. The first time I called they apologized and I rescheduled. The second time this company has not returned any of my phone calls or voice mails left. DO NOT use this company for service of any type. This is the worse experience Ive had with customer service if you can even call it that.

Didnt end up using them as my wife had already arranged with another company, but their customer service and appointment scheduling was well executed and very polite. Cannot speak to their work, but the front office is doing a fantastic job!

Called to get 2 motors installed on 2 pre-existing doors. I left work early to meet techs (this install was on a barn). They looked it over and said they needed to order parts and talk to other techs who are more experienced.Techs left and said I would get a call from the office. A day then 2 went by and I had to call the office. She set up her senior techs to come out and do the install.There were 2 special instructions with this install.Dont drive rover the new sod, and please install both buttons side by side.I was unable to take off again to meet the techs. I get home and they drove through my new sod. And I find that the buttons are on opposite ends of the building. Wires are hanging from the motors. And the wire to the button is stretched so tight that the first time it is bumped it will snap.I called that afternoon to voice my concerns and the lady in the office apologized and said they would get it fixed. Proceeded to take my payment which I was reluctant to give.2 weeks later and multiple phone calls I have yet to be able to get in touch with anyone. Issues have not been resolved. Invoice for the work has not been sent over.Terrible customer service.

Great customer service! They came out quick and fixed my spring. The service guy was nice even with my kid bugging him. The office lady was very helpful. She was able to tell me my issue was the spring and give me an ACCURATE quote.

Bartlett Garage Doors did an awesome job on my door! I am new to the area and called a couple of different places. They had the best price and the lady on the phone was very nice/knowledgeable and patient with all my questions(first time garage door owner). They came out quick and the tech was professional, courteous, and made sure I didnt have any more questions. I got their magnet on my fridge and will be sure to recommend to all my neighbors!

Called last night with a needed repair and they were here first thing this morning and immediately determined the problem and proceeded to get it corrected. They did a PM check of both garages and the price was fair. A great company that now has all of my garage door issues in the future. Highly recommended.

Two men came out to look at my garage and wrote me a receipt for $85 claiming they “ordered parts”. They told me that I should be getting a call from a woman soon to tell when the part should be in and etc. Never heard from the woman. Then I called a couple of days later and the woman answered. She said she knew I needed something but forgot what it was so she would call me right back once she checked. I waited hours and no call. I called them again and no answer. I then proceeded to call every day for about a week and left a voicemail once. Still no call back. My money should have been refunded because they never contacted me again or answered my calls and they never fixed my garage. I called Precision and they came out and fixed it in 10 minutes WITHOUT parts and I’ve been with Precision ever since. I still have the receipt this company gave me and the name of the guy who “ordered parts”. I thought that when they came to check things out that it would turn out to be a great company... boy was I fooled. Never again. They were a waste of my money and my time.

By far the best garage door company we have used! They came out quickly and even arrived a few minutes early and replaced our springs with the correct ones unlike the last company we used.

BARTLETT GARAGE DOORS is the worst experience I have ever been through to get ANY repairs done on my home. I wouldnt even call them to change a light bulb! My garage door spring broke on Sunday 28 Oct.A tech named Joe came out and told me I needed a 236 x 2.0 by 24 inch spring. He didnt have one with him and started in on how a cheap my garage door is, how this spring is not usually carried by garage door repair companies, not to mention is will probably last just a few years and said I would normally charge you a service call fee to come out here but since the office didnt mention that to you, Im not going to charge you. Wow, that was a bit forward and arrogant I thought to my self but although I was taken back a bit, I asked if I can I get a better quality / upgrade spring to ensure last longer than the five years it lasted before It broke. After he left, I started to research my garage door and spring. Even called the garage door manufacturer and the company that installed the original spring (Quality insulation and Doors) in our brand new home and was told the spring should have been a 2.50 x 2.0 x 29 inch spring according to their submitted invoice to the builder. I relayed that information Tuesday afternoon, 25 Oct to Alicia, who I believe is the office manager/part owner of Bartlett Garage Doors (according to website) to ensure that I was getting the BEST spring for our garage door. That was the last I heard of service tech Joe or Alicia. I have called numerous times since Tuesday, 6 times to be exact. Its Friday, 2 Nov and I STILL have not received a call back since Tuesday even after leaving them msg after msg, I called another garage door repair service today and quite frankly, what a relief.I had to give them one star but in reality, these are the actually grades I would give them. ZERO......Zero/5 for customer service, Zero/5 for their professionalism, Zero/5 responsibility/accountability. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE NEEDING A GARAGE DOOR/REPAIR SERVICE. Even if their service was free, I WOULD NEVER WASTE MY TIME OR MONEY with BARTLETT GARAGE DOORS--- Worst business hassle I have ever experienced.

So after someone broke into my garage busted it all up and stole my tools.Bartlett Garage Doors came out after hours and repaired the damage. Incredible staff and very professional. Great experience and I highly recommend them.

After waiting over 2 months on a quote.. 3 weeks on an install date.. I take off work for the install bc someone has to be here and low and behold no one ever shows up... I text at 1030, no response... call at 1130, no answer, or call back... call again at 1145 no answer... immediately call back and finally get an answer and am told that they will call me back in 10 min... text again at 1240 bc I still have not received a call back... finally get a response at 1255 that they had a problem picking up the doors that have supposedly been on hold for 3 weeks and they are trying to find a solution.. it is now after 430 and I have been presented with nothing, not so much as a “sorry”... I lost an entire days work for nothing and they have made no effort to solve their mistake at all... I would never recommend this company to anyone! EVER!!!

I called with an emergency door problem. The door partially fell and was stuck open. The lady in the office was understanding and assigned the call to one of their techs. They were busy and a little late getting here, but that was not a major problem.When the tech finished the door was quieter than its ever been. Plus they adjusted the spring, chain and opener. The door works great! Well use them again if the garage door ever fails! D Barnes

Their technician came out 3 times to get measurements on a special installation that required the door to hug the ceiling for a 4 post lift installation that I am accomplishing on my home. The office person is worthless, she kept promising progress and ultimately wasted 3 weeks of my time and delayed my project. She clearly had no clue how to deal with the custom installation even though they insisted they could accomplish it. My recommendation is that they probably do acceptable work if you have a cookie cutter installation. However if you want anything custom, or outside the box plan on a ridiculous wait and a lot of lack of communication and missed appointments. I finally got a quote and approved the work in 3 short days after switching to another company.

I had 4 new garage doors installed and Bartlett Garage Doors did a great job. I would highly recommend them for all your garage door needs.

I cant recommend this business. Last Thursday 04/03 I had the guy out to replace a torsion spring and install a new garage door opener that I had purchased. After he left, I tested the garage door for balance and it dropped right down to close. Ok, he forgot to test the door and wind the spring for proper balancing, so Ill call him back out. Seems reasonable right? They didnt agree. Half my phone calls to this business go to voice mail. When I got someone live, I explained my situation to her. She said not all garage doors can be balanced (well this one can) buy shed try to get him back out that same day. No one called, No one came. I called the next day and again asked the lady to send the guy to finish his job properly, and after several attempts (went into voicemail some more) I spoke live. Its now Friday the 4th and she said she will try to get him out that Friday or even on Saturday. But, at any rate she said shed call me. She never called, the serviceman never showed, and she stopped responding to my messages. I called back again on Saturday and went immediately into voicemail-an indication to me that she was dumping me there and never intended to speak further with me.Yes, she basically told me they refuse to come out and finish the job.As I read these reviews, ones similar to mine seem to crop up quite often.Bartlett Garage Doors, Im done with you. You blew me off without completing your job, now I dont want you back. Im going to pay a decent company to finish the job right. Oh, and dont say you tried to get a hold of me but couldnt. You have my number, I always carry my phone. You never called. Your treatment of your customers is disrespectful.Conclusion to future customers: use a different garage door company. There are reliable ones out there.

Worst experience. Installed a damaged door. Then refused calls to address the issue or work out a solution. Manufacturer for the door sent out representative to confirm cause of damage was due to Bartlett Door installers and stated that Bartlett Door has had this happen before. Go with another company!

Unfortunately Im having the same experience as Mr. Dearborn. I ordered a custom garage door six months ago. I placed a deposit of several thousand dollars. Measurements were taken, but now, I can not get anyone to contact me with updates. Myself and two other people have intensely tried to get in contact with someone over the past 2-3 weeks (and more intermittently over the last few months), we have sent emails, left voicemails, and sent messages through facebook. I even tried to find a physical address so that I could try and speak to someone in person but I couldnt find an actual business. Of the three addresses I could come up with, two were private homes and one was a dollar store. Could someone from the company please contact me? My next steps are filling a complaint with the better business bureau and working with my credit card company to get my money back. I dont want to do that!Update:As requested, I will update my review. Only after the above actions, including this review, was my door finally installed. Again, we were told weeks and it was MONTHS. Then the company tried to bill me for more than the agreed upon price, to the point where I had to show them their own email to prove it to them. THEN it was installed improperly and I had to pay another garage door company to come and fix their terrible work. This was absolutely the WORST experience. I would never recommend them to anyone.
