Larry was helpful and kind! Worked with me on pricing for my installing new sound system. Great experience!Addendum:YoooooooooooooI’ve been listening to this system non stop!!Honestly, when I first got my car back, I was pretty disappointed in the lackluster bass and lack of punch. Then I hopped in the back of my SUV and switched the phase polarity on the subwoofer… and there it was. Ooooof. >:)I used to run a recording studio, and the “car test” is crucial in cross checking how a mix translates from studio monitors to real life listening environments, ie in a car (one of the harshest listening environments). I now have the perfect system for the car test. The head unit, the EQ, crossover, speakers… everything is perfect. The rear view camera they installed had to be installed UPSIDE DOWN because of how close the camera was to the handle of my rear hatch. Not only did they cleverly think to install it upside down, they still made it transmit video correctly (right side up) to my dash screen. Bro… how do they do that??The wires are all hidden. Everything looks professionally done. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks y’all!
The guys at OnSite Audio could not be more kind. My car stereo went out and in the end there was nothing they could do to fix it. Instead of trying to sell a high-price, long shot repair they were honest about the issue and didn’t even charge us for the time they spent trying every reasonable solution. I definitely recommend them for all your car audio needs!
An hour and a half job turned into a 5 hour job. I brought my own equipment and was only paying labor on installing 2 component sets. The first ti.e they tried to release it to me it was lacking 2 capacitors on the front doors. When I left I was supposed to have the front tweeters mounted in the middle pillar but instead they replaced the front factory Tweeter in the front pillar. I specifically asked twice about the placement and was treated very rudely by specifically Cade. Granted the music sounded good and looked good it was not how I wanted it and the customer service was terrible.
Awesome customer service, great prices and affordable sound systems!!! They always do a great job and I will always be a loyal customer!! Thank you guys
Always professional and have a fast turnaround time. Best brand and quality speakers. Great place to do business
Very good service, friendly and helpful . Staff is knowledgeable and will do everything they can to make your experience as best as possible. Highly recommend
Thanks for the service! Larry and his crew are the best and quick ! They are very reasonable ! Had everything that I needed!
Don’t go here. They will sale and install you a system and in 2 weeks when u realize it’s junk and don’t have any good sound or anything they refuse to take it back for a refund. So your stuck. That’s not how they should do business. The only person nice there was the black guy with long hair at the counter. The rest no thanks.. they have plenty of other replaces to go in baton rouge. Go else where before you get rip off of $800 and a cheap junk radio system
If you are looking for the best audio shop in southeast Louisiana, youve found them! These guys provide quality work at an affordable price. I wanted a subwoofer put in my GMC Acadia and they got me in the same day and installed it quickly. I also got my windows tinted at their sister company at the same location, Tint Pros. Im very happy with how my vehicle looks and sounds now. The owner, Larry, takes great care of his customers and makes sure the job is done right. Go see them for all your car audio needs!
They move very fast I was in & Out .
These guys at Onsite Audio are very knowledgeable and provide honest pricing that will fit your budget and ear candy needs !!!!!

Very excellent work, very nice clean installation. Fantastic customer service very helpful. Fair prices . Can not complain .At all I have been to many many many different audio companies but this by far is the best
Onsite Audio was great! They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They ensured I had the best deals and quality parts possible. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend.
Im glad I went here to get my stereo installed. They did a great job installing it, took the time to show me how to use it, and helped me with the settings. They were really nice and went out of their way to make sure I didnt feel pressured to buy anything. Will definitely go back to them when Im ready to upgrade my speakers.
Larry and his team installed a touchscreen audio system with a backup camera in a very old vehicle of mine and basically turned it into a modern car that’s a joy to drive. Excellent recommendation on the model of the system.
Good and fast service. Actually went beyond and showed much love, will be back!!
I was shopping around for car audio equipment and came across On Site audio. The store was dirty and disorganized, the selection of audio systems always scarce, and the prices were higher than other places I visited. The staff member that I dealt with was very friendly and helpful though.
Their prices were really fair, but you get what you pay for. I had them install a backup camera, run some cables and connect the illumination wire to the radio so the radio will light up at night. There were several problems along the way which the owner did not tell me about. In order for the wires to be ran it would get in the way of my foldable cup holder thus making my cup holder useless. As well as I paid them to install the radio into the dash but I wouldnt have done that had I known that they not connected the illumination wire. The illumination wire was missing from the car so I asked the mechanic to attach it to the red 12 volt wire but he did not. So now I have to uninstall the radio to connect the illumination wire to the red 12 volt wire end pull those cables back through so I can use my cup holder. He did not let me know any of this. I would not have paid for them to install the radio and run the wires had I known that information beforehand. Im a mechanic in training and I know you are supposed to tell the customer of any problems or anything that could be a problem. He did not let me know any of this until I called the next day and ask him why that work was not done. So in my eyes they owe me an extra 150. I paid them 75 to run the wires and 75 to install the radio. I would have rather just had him not run the wires so I could use my cup holder. I told him this and he wanted to charge me to fix the mistakes he made. in the end the only complaint I have is the lack of communication from the owner because work was done that I had no longer wanted if it would have or could have caused problems. It wasnt all bad though. They did replace the old trim clips hold up the liner. (instead of using the old ones). The Back-up Camera work they did was satisfactory.
I recently leased a new ILX and was looking to have 10 inch sub and amp installed, that would look and sound clean and complement the factory system and that could easily be removed and installed in my next car once the lease was up, and I also wasnt looking to spend too much on it. After speaking with the owner he recommended my current set-up, which is a 10 Memphis BR sub in a ported box with a Memphis mini amp, he promised it would be a clean set-up that would sound great and he delivered exactly what I was looking for at the price that he originally quoted me which was very reasonable and refreshing, as in my experience with other shops in the past, the price would usually end up being much higher than originally quoted once the work was finally done. Besides being impressed with the low cost, the setup was very well done and they manged to neatly tuck the speaker box in the back of my trunk with the amp mounted on top, which left plenty of usable space in my trunk for luggage or anything else. The sub delivers the crisp bass I was looking for and they also added a bass knob that is hidden next to the steering column so I have quick, easy access to control the bass while driving. Overall I was very impressed by the quality of their work and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for affordable car audio work done by true professionals who take pride in their work and deliver what they promise.
I went into onsite to get a radio and backup camera installed in my 2009 Chevy Silverado And was greeted immediately walking inside. Was given a fair price on a quote Asked when they could do it and was told right then and there The technician came inside to grab the keys and before I knew it the job was done. Highly recommend onsite audio for anything car electronics
Other places wanted to charge me $150 and up to install a stereo in my 05 Silverado, On Site only charged me $100 and it only took about 20 minutes. The service was so great that Im actually writing a review about it. Definitely going back
There supposed to be professionals but did labor on my car radio and didn’t tell me till they took apart everything that i had the wrong equipment. They also did not wanna give me a refund even though they didn’t install anything in my car. It is there job to know what can and what can not be installed you work with this everyday how could they not know i had the wrong equipment before they started labor on my car radio never go here
I chose Onsite Audio to install my amp, stereo, and subs 14 years ago. Something failed due to age and I went back to get the replacement part... FOR FREE, that place is awesome.
I went to onsite last week to get some advice on a DVD headrest set for my wifes car and I spoke with the actual owner and he answered every question that I asked. Very professional and polite. He never treated me like didnt know anything and explained to where I can understand. I ended up letting them install a amp and speaker in my truck and they did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend onsite audio for any kind of audio install or just advice on anything. REAL. HONEST. PROFESSIONAL.
Of only they would of taken the deal that Richard Rawlings from Garage Rehab gave them to basically rebuild there whole shop . And merge the Audio/atv business together then they probably wouldnt be such a unreliable and dishonest company that they are.. dont go here . Their liers, dishonest and will screw you over.. Larry wouldnt even take a 150k deal from Richard Rawlings to modernize and remodel there WHOLE shop because they were scared and believed they couldnt pay the debt back...thats sad.. why would you have these guys work on your stuff. I personally wouldnt buy anything from these guys .. the shop is pathetic.. your better off doing the work yourself. Have a great new year.....
New location, same great guys to deal with.
I love this place .. people are always nice and care about your needs
This is a long story and Google wont let me post all of it. Basically I prepaid for an amp that took six months to come in and they charged me even more money!...I go and wait for 3 hours for them to install the new amp. Once it’s finally ready Larry tells me there’s an up charge for the wiring they used to move the amplifier to the new location. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! This is the amp I paid to have installed the first time 6 months ago! Jeremy told me that it would be no charge but apparently he isn’t really the manager because he went back on what he said and sided with Larry. Why didn’t anyone tell me this before they did the work is beyond me. I would’ve been ecstatic to have them just leave it on the seat and let me do my own installation. They gave me some bs about not charging for the power wire but having to charge for the longer RCAs but then they couldn’t give me a credit for the original power wire but why would I need that since you weren’t charging me for it anyway? So I had to fork over another $110 “for RCAs”. Lie #1: The DD Audio rep is going to send you goodies for your trouble and long wait. Lie #2: We won’t charge you for swapping out the amplifier. Lie #3: We ran longer RCAs (they just used extensions on the new ones I installed). After all this they managed to reintroduce noise back into my system that I’m going to have to go back over everything to figure out where it’s coming from, I’m out more money, and my truck smells like vinegar for some reason!!!!!!. So I guess to them it was worth $110 to get this review.I DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT recommend letting these people touch your vehicle for any reason whatsoever. They are liars and do poor work. They are not interested in turning over a quality installation no matter how many thousands of your hard earned dollars you hand over to them. I’m completely unsatisfied and all of my worst fears came to fruition from this experience. I’m upset with DD Audio as well for forcing me into a position where I had to go through a business like Onsite to begin with. I over paid for equipment that isn’t much better than any of the other major brands out there. This entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for local installers and DD Audio as whole. DO NOT repeat my mistakes. Learn to do your own installs or take it to someone who actually takes pride in their work. Onsite Audio will never get my business again and hopefully this review keeps them from earning yours as well.
I thought these guys were good but there not they told me my amp was bad so I bought a new amp only to find out things werent tightened and the rca cables were bad then they told me to come in on one day I went and they told me I wasnt in there appointment book and didnt take me after they told me to come days before !! So not only they dont do thorough trouble shooting but dont honor there word !!!! Davids Car Stereo
Very friendly, awesome customer service. Truly care about the customer!
I had a system in a previous car which was immobile (the car, not the audio system), that I wished to have installed in a recently purchased vehicle. Onsite arranged to have a tech come to my house to uninstall all the speakers, head unit, satellite receiver and antenna. The next day I took the newer car over to the shop to have whatever functioned and would fit installed in the new ride. The previous speakers wouldnt fit/work so at Joshs suggestion I wound up buying 2 pair of Memphis, which Im extremely pleased with.I would definitely recommend Onsite to anyone wishing to upgrade their system. These guys *know* their business and what theyre doing!
Went to have speakers in stalled they told me they didnt work offered speakers they had if i wanted to purchess same day went to a different installer who took the speakers out the box to find out they had cut the wires and put them back in the box then showed me the tester wasnt reading them .... Its sad u go to that extreme to sell ur product ..... Who else have yall screwed
We treat you like family
More like a bunch of guys hanging around then a retail business, showrooms tiny, prices fat to high for the quality the sell, would not recommend.
Im a very old friend of Larry
These guys are making a solid comeback. They had to move locations and a lot of people who knew them thought they had closed, but they are getting name recognition back out there and are set to become a premier audio store.
Great people, highly recommend
Fast frendly cheep!!
