I live in Texas, but visited this store because a colleague recommended their beignets. By the time I visited in the afternoon, they were all sold out. I was just going to get a normal, boring, glazed donut, but Mr Lee wanted me to try his waffle, egg, bacon thing. I don’t know what it’s called. I just know that it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I had this waffle thing about two months ago. I’m back in Baton Rouge for work. It’s 11pm. I can only think about his waffles right now. I know where I’m going for breakfast tomorrow.

Always fast and friendly. Obviously, they take pride in their process and product. Im a big fan of the apple fritters and they even have a baked option.

These are my favorite donuts in town by far. The staff are always very nice. Pricing is great and the selection of cold drinks is good too- they have chocolate milk!

Its a very friendly neighborhood donut place... the donuts taste perfect for our taste... not too sweet but perfect softness.. The staff here are very friendly and answers any of your questions. We tried their beignet last time.. they are made fresh to order and tasted amazing. The smell lingered in my car for while making me crave for them again..

Such a great neighborhood shop! The folks are friendly, the donuts are great and they serve Community Coffee. Ive been there a number of times when they are quite busy and they really handle it very well. Glad to have a wonderful small business in the neighborhood!

Great fresh donuts. The service is nice and fast but dont get the donuts too late(around 12 oclock) it will be cold. You have to get them early. Btw the donut shop closes at 1 oclock and not 2 as the owner told me

Great place to swing by and pick up some donuts in the morning. Good selection of delicious donuts from plain to cake to jelly filled. Also a great selection of drinks from milk to soda to energy drinks. There is a $5 limit when purchasing with a card though. However, it is a great store and I would recommend Mary Lee Donuts to get your donut fix.

This is the worse place to go, my friend and I came in with respect said hey the worker didnt say anything. My friend and I came to the counter to see what we wanted we didnt get no eye contact. I felt disrespected I was to bring my perchance back she told me no refunds and she yanked the bag looking all on it. The best thing to do is not to go here. Who wants to buy something from somewhere and not get any respect or feel comfortable eating.

I live 1 minute away from a donut place but I travel the extra 9 minutes to come here. Super nice/friendly staff and great management. Awesome donut selection too. Dont ever get rid of the Pokemon ball looking ones!

Good and hot apple fritters

This is our usual weekend go-to for doughnuts and kolaches. They usually have a a vast selection of all of the usual fare as well as specialty doughnuts with LSU colors or holiday variations. There is usually a short line, but theyre fast and its never a long wait.

They are a very friendly family and warm atmosphere. My family loves their donuts

Mary Lee Donuts are the greatest Donuts in Baton Rouge but the 20$ king cakes are horrible Im really upset and feel like I got ripped off because all I got was a circle of dried out deep fried dough with sugar on top, no cinnamon or filling for 20 bucks Hong su coulda at least used some cinnamon. sorry $18!!!!!
