Star Glass has always went above and beyond. There was a mix up with the glass from the manufacture. Star glass was very accommodating with the situation. I would recommend them over any other glass repair business in Battle Creek area

Never again!!! Paid in full and it took him over 3 months to install 7 glass panels. He measured and ordered the wrong size, then broke one, the owner Chuck was so rude. Not professional at all. Then at the end he billed me for an additional $125 even though he was paid in full per his estimate. I paid him slowly like he put my windows in slowly. So he took me to court...lol. I should have did my homework before I used him. You live and learn.

Paid for windshields for both of my daughters vehicles. First one took several visits to get windshield replaced, broke trim and tried to glue back together. First time down highway, trim came off and narrowly missed car behind us. Got money back for second windshield. Chuck is rude and has personality of a fence post. They did replace trim parts. I installed them myself.

Put the car in June 27. Got car back July 7. We made 4 trips up there. They called once to say that for some reason my Prius battery was dead. We called wrecker service to help. We then had to drive up there to drive car to charge battery. Same thing with our pickup, just about. 3 trips for that.

I had to go from my home in Kalamazoo, near as. G Ave.to Star Glass in Battle Creek, last Fri. To get Chip in my cars windshield fixed. I dont know much about B..C. except where the Airport is because I love the Balloon Launches & watching the air Show when theyre there, so I Googled it and found it along with a phone #, exactly the best & shortest way to get there. It was very easy and I avoided the busy highway in the morning rush to get to work. I only had to back-track 1 block because it was on the other side of the freeway, & me on the other side. Easy peasy! Thanks Google Maps.

It took four trips and an additional thirty minutes of my time working on the car, to get a windshield installed, and their mistakes fixed. First windshield fit poorly and adhesive showed. Second windshield (at least some charges to my insurance company) fit better, not perfectly, so I think all is settled. First time I used windshield washer, wipers worked, but spray was on the back glass, but, not to worry, the windshield spray worked when I activated the rear washer. I went back and spoke with Chuck, the owner, and of course Star didn’t do anything that could have made it happen. Went back after talking with service at the dealer. Chuck wasn’t there. Installer “fixed” the washers, but not correctly. Driving away, I activated the windshield wiper/washer, one wiper arm worked, the other did not, that precipitated visit four (and last). This all took place during the COVID-19 issue. On the first visit I asked Chuck if he had a mask (I wear one), he grumbled yes, and went out to his truck to get it. The installer, as I am trying to relate to him what was wrong, lectured me on doing his job right and questioned whether I did in my job. Star glass - marginal to shoddy work, bad attitudes, and lies. The receptionist is pleasant.

As the owner for a small car dealership we made the decision to use Star Glass for all our windshield work (including stone chips) from the day we opened. After 10 years I cant begin to say enough good things about them. Chuck, Jamie and their entire crew have always been amazing to work with and we wouldnt use anyone else. They bend over backwards to be sure the job is done right and in a timely manner. If you need a new windshield or stone chip repair done I cant recommend them enough. They will treat you right!

Had to get my living room window glass replaced and they ended up bringing back a the replacement galss broken being held together with a peace of tape. They didnt charge me anything but when I called to talk to the manager he told me he didnt have time to fix it and replace it. Not to mention when the guy was putting my screens back in he ended up ripping them!! So thanks for causing me more damage than to fixing it!

The technician fixed the weather strip on my windshield while I waited. The only issue I have with that is that I had no chance to talk to the technician or get a cost estimate beforehand. I was sitting in the waiting room when the woman behind the counter said, Hes out there fixing it now. While I appreciated the quick response and fix time, there are spots where the weather strip is pulled away from the glass, which looks very unprofessional. And for a 15 minute job that looked like that, they charged me $65. I will be going back after work to see if they will fix it free of charge. I will update my review after that.Update: I called and explained the situation and was told that they would fix it. I will update again once the work has been completed.

There is no better glass sho in Battle Creek. The people there are true professionals. It has been a pleasure doing business with them.

Chuck owner of Star Glass put my windows in on 182 N 20th street two years ago. I paid him the money $4700.00 up front because he said he needed cash flow. 13 months later my Windows we’re finally finished but Chuck still hadn’t installed all the braces needed to hold windows in. After numerous phone calls to no avail three large panels fell and broke on the sidewalk two weeks later. chuck would not accept my calls nor would he fix anything! chuck had 18 year old kids out there trying to put in large panels of glass that had never replaced a broken window let a lone an 8 foot by 5 foot piece of glass. I filed suit against Star Glass and Chucks liablity insurance represented him in court and I settled out for about 25% of the damage. I hired Pro Glass out of Kazoo and spent $5000 to repair the added damage star glass caused! I would never call Star Glass for anything! If you do you’ll get what you deserve my friend! 🙁

When I needed my windshield replaced, Star Glass was able to do the work very quickly. Friendly staff and job well done.

Got me in to replace my back glass the next day. Reasonable prices. While I was waiting, I witnessed it the staff provide what I would describe as over the top service to other customers as well to try and accommodate their needs. Was a Safelite customer before, but never again!
