Robert was awesome and professional. Got me in and out of the store and was trying to make sure we got the best mattress for having issues with our backs.
I had my furniture delivered in June 2020, I was making bi-weekly payments starting June 17 for a total of 24 payments at $77.89 bi-weekly to complete contract. I paid June 17, July 3 and July 17. I then received an email to do a survey with the company. I completed the survey and just stated that the furniture was in poor condition.I then received a phone call from the district Manager stating that he was concerned about my survey and wanted to “help me out”. All I had to do was come in and sign another contract for a “same as cash” reduction. I went in signed it and thanked him for being so helpful. My next payment on Aug 3 was for $99.78 I again paid it cause I didn’t want it to be late and they come pick up the furniture and then I called them. The manager apologized to me and told me there was an error in my new contract and that they would fix it no problem. My next payment was on Aug 17 for $77.89 after the “Mistake” was corrected. From Aug 17 to Jan 15 I’ve made 11 payments out of 24 according to rent a center and like the judge in there own scheme the previous payments from June17 ($77.89), July 03 ($77.89), July 17 (77.89), and Aug 3 ($99.78) have been stricken from there records.Now you tell me if I got ripped off cause I have 15 receipts and I’ve only made 11 payments according to them!-Angry Sucker Ex-Customer-

This place has been great to us. Nick has been so helpful to us and is always super nice. All the other employees have also been nice to us. I would definitely tell others to go there.
Unacceptable customer service, and untrained sales associates who NEVER leave notes on the accounts after phone calls. My uncle passed away, I was in between jobs, and just had my first son so I’ve been late on payments even though I’ve constantly tried to get them to work with me on the due date so that it falls during my pay period. They need to completely overhaul this store from top to bottom, the sales associates incompetence is a reflection of leadership/management. I’ve been in sales a very long time and have never seen a company ran with such reckless abandon and lack of empathy for the customers who keep the store up and running. After I finish my account I will gladly and effectively let people know to avoid this location.
My washer and dryer were delivered today. The lady was really nice on the phone and worked with my schedule. The delivery driver however had no idea how to turn the water on to my washer. I told him as he unloaded the truck to put the dryer first. He puts the washer first. Then he doesn’t hook my dryer up at all and it so hot in my washer room. Not a good experience so far
Terrible service, was late on 1 payment and they had someone at my to pick up my tv for “lack of communication” when I had already spoke with someone about my situation and offered to make a double payment the following week. I was only 1 week late not even a full 30 days.
Horrible customer service that doesnt give a carr about there customers and what they are going thru in life at all,i would noy recommend this place to anyone at all
What reason is there for my item to be returned when Ill now have to pay it off through collections?
Gotton alot of things from them you pay more but thats what happens when you dont have cash but also had Gotton alot of credit because of paying off other furniture all was new in box

The manager was rude to start and was very unhelpful. Once she seen i made my payments on time she was more then willing to help
The store manager at this location (Baytown Rent A Center) is very rude and does not take care of her customers the way she should. All of these other companies are delaying off monthly payments and working with their customers such as Conns, Apartment complexes, Baytown Utilities due to the Catastrophe Hurricane Harvey and this store manager at Baytown Rent A Center sent a Rent A Center employee to my front door to threaten us to make a payment. Then when we showed up to the store to make a payment she chose to display poor customer service by interrupting me while i was talking to my fiance... which triggered me to tell her, your interrupting me while im consulting with my fiance and also by making the comments I dont have to rewrite your account if I dont want too. Cooperate Office has no say so in what we do here in our store. Then she chose to walk away from servicing us and collecting our payment saying that she doesnt have to deal with this. I will never ever give Rent-A-center any more of my business at the Baytown Location and I plan to cancel my contract within the month. This company will not be getting any referrals from me due to one store managers poor attitude and poor judgment calls. My account isnt even a full 30 days past due. And we offered to make a partial payment now then pay the rest next week. They said we had to pay what they were offering or they would come get our furniture.
