Brought in my older dodge truck for some warranty issues. Service was absolutely wonderful with communication through the process. Very friendly. However when there I asked them to check my brake system since It was pretty soft. It’s an older truck (2003) and they stated it’s hard to get parts and couldn’t even get some parts to fix my boost leak. They fixed what they could and I came picked up my truck. I was told me everything working great and technician test drove it. There is absolutely no way it was test driven because when you hit the brake it would pull you so hard to the right it would put you into another lane of traffic or on the shoulder. So disappointed. Took it to another shop. Not only did they fix the issue they could get the boost parts no issue. But that’s after spending close to 2k at Butler and now paying the new shop close to 2k to fix the issues again. Added on top it’s leaking fluid out of a gasket that Butler just replaced… so frustrated.No way I’ll take my vehicle back to them ever again,
I bought my 2008 Jeep Wrangler here a little over a year ago from Mr. Charles. He showed a wide set of knowledge on their entire inventory and followed it with actually working with me on which vehicle would suit me better as well as my budget, phenomenal customer service in person and over the phone. Just recently took that same Jeep in, to have a lift kit installed. Between the experience of Miss Debbie and Mr. Rob I had no worries whatsoever. They answered every question I had for them as well as kept me updated on the work while it was in their shop. Miss Debbie was extremely kind and more so friendly! Mr. Rob got the job done quickly as well as efficiently, I simply couldn’t have done it better myself. To all those that I worked with there at Butler CDJR thank you! If you want a shop free of those dealership nightmares, this is THE place to go. No overcharging or hidden fees anywhere, exemplary knowledge/experience base, and of course pure southern hospitality.

Had my my new 2021 truck towed in for an oil leak, which turned out to be a failed oil filter. The staff at Butler made my appointment for the day after it arrived but was able to get it in and serviced the same day. No B.S., no nonsense, and I was back on the road that evening. Very impressed with the service department.

The worst service department I have ever dealt with in my entire life I’m a 16 year heavy duty diesel technician I brought my 2003 Dodge ram 2500 in for a simple service tire rotation and check for oil leaks or any leaks on the vehicle $1883 later I walked out with my truck tires had not been rotated delete that they found on the transmission line they had replaced A fitting I made it 3 miles down the road can somebody stop me on the side of the road telling me that I had a leak and then got out of my truck and realize that they never even tighten the fitting I also had a brake job done while I was there because they told me I needed brakes in that first 3 mile test drive before the transmission leak every time I stepped on a break Apple very hard to the right they said that they replaced a brake line the brake line that they used was an oversized brake line versus the manufactures sized brake line which if anyone knows anything about brakes it’s all about hydraulic pressure if one line is larger than the other it takes more pressure to push the fluid through that line needless to say my truck every time you stepped on the brakes about put you in the ditch they replaced it and repaired it supposedly it’s still did the exact same thing that it was doing before I took my truck to their shop I also then found that I had a rear main seal leak that they did nothing about I’ve now spent another $2000 at a different shop a non-dealership shop and all of my problems are now corrected do not take your vehicleTo Butler Dodge if you need service work oh and by the way they still do not have any diesel trucks on their lot

Bought a vehicle today and couldn’t be happier. Butler is a great place to shop, get a good deal and buy. I’ve shopped for this truck for months all over Florida, Georgia and SC but I bought from Butler. When you go, be sure to ask for Danny. He’s a nice guy and great salesman who took care of everything. He even called the insurance company and got my insurance transferred. I can’t thank him enough for making a painful process easy. I always dread car shopping but this was easy! JR the sales manager was excellent as well. He worked with Danny to take care of some annoying details that could have taken forever at other dealerships. I don’t expect I’ll need another vehicle any time soon but when I do I’ll be back!

Took my truck for routine maintenance and found out that my oil drain plug was stripped. They laid out all my options and I was able to pick the one I liked the most. My only complaint is that it took a week for the drain plug to come in. If I had ordered it myself from anywhere else it probably would have been in next day. Otherwise great service and experience.
Traveling from out of state and needed to replace a lost fob. Rather than point and leave, the lot salesman walked me all the way to the parts department and the service department had me hooked up and outta there in 30 minutes. (programming time) VERY pleasant personnel, nice waiting area with refreshments and snacks. Definitely doing the Dodge name proud!

We were travelling from Maine when our wheel bearing assembly went. Butler Jeep got us in on an emergency basis and fixed our Jeep in one day so we could travel 19 hours back to Maine. The buying process was quick and simple as we began the process online and completed it rapidly. The Internet Sales Manager was honest and communicated frequently with us as we were purchasing a “difficult to find vehicle.” Everyone in the dealership was so kind, friendly, and helpful. The only reason I did not give five stars as most employees were not wearing masks that ultimately would protect their customers.
I had a great experience with the initial buying of my truck from this dealer, but once the deal is done, they just kind of forget about you. I was promised a detailing of the inside of my truck, because the seat were extremely dirty and they didn’t follow through. Also an extra key after I gave them my extra key to the car I traded in and they didn’t follow through. I suggest if you wanna work with this dealer that it’s a one and done deal or else you’ll just be wishing you never dealt with them.———————————————————————————————They were very willing to fix this previous review above. We were traveling from Ohio to Florida and our Dodge Caravan began having engine trouble. It was almost 5pm and we Googled to find the closest dealership, which was Butler. We called and a technician was willing to stay late to look at our van. I wanted to personally thank Michael D. for staying late to fix our van and get us back on the road after just one hour. Our vacation was saved thanks to him! With our family of 6, things could have ended very differently for us. I would recommend the technician Michael D. and Butler Chrysler Jeep Dodge to anyone!
Excellent customer service, Since moving to SC from up north 3 years ago I have brought my Dodge 1500 to Butler Chrysler for service and their have provided Excellent customer service they are the best I would rate them a 10. Mr. DefoorMy wife recently experienced a road trip nightmare when her vehicle broke down on I-95 near Beaufort. She was towed and eventually her vehicle ended up at your dealership for repairs. We live in Jacksonville, Fl.If I mess up a name, I apologize. I initially talked to a manager in warranty(I believe it was Tonya/Megan?) and she referred me to Stefanie and Debbie. They all took care of her vehicle. Even though they had to deliver some bad news regarding some costs/repairs, they were highly professional. Although the process was a bit confusing in the beginning due to some miscommunication, my salesperson Danny worked hard to rectify everything and his dedication and effort is what bought my business. My experience here was phenomenal! The sales staff and finance manager was very polite! Haley G. (sales) was prepared for any questions I had to throw at her, and she explained all of my paperwork in a very easy to understand way! I am very impressed with the level of skill she had to bring to the table! The finance manager Tim rettig was extremely professional and knowledgeable regarding the factory and extended warranties on my new Jeep! I felt at home the entire visit and to top it off was greeted very politely by the sales management, when they were ensuring my visit was going well and that I was happy with the product! Overall 10/10. Was in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours with a full tank of Gas and a brand new Jeep Wrangler!

I dodged an $815 dollar bullet with this dealership today. In my years dealing with them, we have had our bumps, but yesterday took the cake. They recommended that my rear passenger side ABS Sensor be replaced to fix my initial issue. Also, said I needed a new front driver side wheel hub because 3 studs had broken off. I could not afford this at the time so decided to postpone the repair and keep vehicle parked instead. Towed the car and inspected the wheel where I had broken studs. No studs were broken cuz this car does not use studs but rather individual bolts. Went to the parts store, spent $35 and 5 minutes, Replaced all studs to that wheel. Why are they making folks install high dollar parts that they do not need!!?I ordered new sensor from another dealer, picked it up this morning, 1/2hr later, problems fixed and driving my car again.This is my latest and worse experience. Please be cautious.
My technician Trey was awesome. She was very informative, sympathetic, and communicated everything I needed to know in a professional manner. The dealership did a great job keeping my Fiat for a week until they could diagnosis the problem. However, I took off one star because they couldn’t actually fix my car and sent me to Peacock Dealership in Ridgeway. So I would not return to Butler to service my Fiat.
Trey was our service manager and was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Service department was clean and inviting. Having a very unique vehicle, Winnebago Travato built on a Ram Promaster chassis, was a challenge to them, but they were up to the task. The only real problem was getting some parts which was beyond their control. Technician explained every thing very well and did an excellent job. I was glad that I listened to references prior to coming here.
Recently bought a used car from Charles Manigo at Butler. What a pleasure, absolutely no pressure or hype, everyone went the extra mile to make sure that my wife and I were treated very well. We drove a hour from Savannah and are so glad we did. Highly recommend.

Customer service/Purchase Nov.30,2020:I strongly recommend Butler to anyone in need of a new Ram! I had been in constant contact with my sales guy Danny for roughly 2 months before I actually made a purchase. We discussed what I needed in a truck and also what I wanted. They ended up getting a truck on the lot with almost everything that I wanted and what it didnt have wasnt a deal breaker for me. I purchased the truck Nov. 30 and have been pleased with it thus far. Come to find out somehow Butler acquired this particular truck from another dealer in which that dealer installed the trailer brake controller but did NOT install the module under the dash 🤦🏻♂️ Anyway Butler/Brian quickly Honored the fact that it was supposed to be included in my truck and they installed the module and got me out of there in about 2 hours total from the time I walked in the door at absolutely no charge to me 😃 Thanks Butler for your awesome customer service, salesman, service department, and purchase experience. We were traveling the country in our RV and towing our Jeep Grand Cherokee. The ECM on the Jeep shorted out so I limped it in for repair with one cylinder not firing. Problem was, the parts were a couple days away. There were no rental cars or Uber service available so we were stranded at the dealership. Thankfully, they had Porters to shuttle us back to the RV and then picked us up again when the repair was completed. Jeep runs great now. Thanks, Butler!

Drove down from Charleston because Butler dealership didn’t have the dealer add on’s like window tint and wheel locks etc that can be over $1500 here in Charleston. Overall time spent on the lot was 4.5 hours. We drove down knowing which vehicle we wanted, upon arriving on the lot we found our Jeep looked it over for 15 mins then went inside to find someone for a test drive. Our salesman was Joey and he was professional and overall did a good job. We only had a couple problems during our car buying experience. The first wasted an hour+, both Joey and the sales manager either didn’t know or were trying intentionally to not use my employee discount from Chrysler, 3 times Joey came back and said something like the my employee number didn’t work. I encouraged them that I thought they were mistaken since I just got the number, Finally it worked and was given the price. Second problem I had was with the Chrysler rebates there were 5 of them worth 4K but apparently we were not eligible for all but one worth 500 because we used the 0% interest. Chrysler needs to do a better job saying which rebate can be used. This is very obviously not said because it’s a marketing SCAM. My last issue was with the invoice from Butler. I had 3 discounts, my military discount for 500 a rebate from Chrysler for 500 and my discount from my employee pricing which Joey said was 1% under MSRP for my Grand Cherokee. I would liked to seen those three things listed on the invoice instead of just one discounted total invoice number. I was assured that both of those other two discounts for 1k was included in my “discounted price invoice” After getting home and looking again at the invoice the numbers didn’t add up so they probably didn’t include the military discount and Chrysler discount. Overall I would recommend Butler to anyone with the caveat that like all car dealerships they seem to be a bit shady somewhere. Think that’s just the nature of the business. Overall rating is 3.5 stars from my prospective.

Bought my 2017 Van Used at another dealership and was told multiple times that it did NOT come with a used car warranty already. So i bought their extended warranty (not Butler) it expired and i was having transmission issues so i took it to Butler and talking to Trey at service she informed that i DID in fact have a used car warranty still in effect. Im grateful and next time i look at buying a car i will definitely go to Butler first!Integrity matters!

I came in for a diagnostic on my radio, one function wasn’t working but to repair it the entire radio needed to be replaced. The service department gave me the option of repairing at the dealer or since my vehicle is older and the radio wasn’t the car brain, an alternative of an after market upgrade somewhere else. This suggestion ensured they will have my business as long as I live here. They were looking out for the customer and not their profit and I truly appreciated that.
I LOVE “my girls” at the service department. This time it was awesome Debbie who helped me. She is so efficient and found a great deal on tires for my Jeep (with a rebate that she kindly reminded me of as I went to stuff the paperwork in my purse and would have forgotten about)! 5 stars and then some!

Nolan is a great guy .I would not have traded if it was not for the one touch roof on the new wrangler .We had a 2020 wrangler and loved all but the hard top roof .That power roof makes a difference how after you will go topless . The service at butler is great .The sales guy Nolan we had was a nice young guy out to make a million and certainly will do it because of his kindness .The finance lady Audrina was super sweet and honest .Was not a fan of JR at all .He needs to stop and listen to the customers wishes instead of taking liberties with other peoples info .All in all the majority was superb .
Yes I would recommend Butler Chrysler Dodge Jeep! when I go to buy my next vehicle, this will always be the first place I go to. It just starts with the new purchase. Whats most important is the service staff to me. They work extra hard to help protect my investment. Always smiling, friendly and verifying and searching if any recalls exist besides the preventive maintenance. They always have worked around my last minute scheduling without an appointment and have never failed me. The Service staff as well as the entire Butler team creates and maintains a true Customer and dealership relationship that maintains my loyalty to them. I think the last person I had wait on me was Stephanie, but always whoever it is does an awesome job.
Robert was professional and knowledgeable. I decided against the vehicle due to carfax history and no fault of Robert. Not great reviews of the latitude. He did try his best to get me to sign but I wanted to research and he understood. I went in for recall on my 200 and the service associate was also amazing and friendly. Trey was service advisor whom I never seen or met. The female that assisted me I would recommend hands down I looked on paperwork and was unable to locate her name. She deserves recognition. I went to Blufftons Chrysler dealership and also to Savannahs Chrysler dealership and let’s just say I WONT GO BACK TO EITHER. GOOD JOB BUTLER
The Service department is incredibly helpful, honest, and patient. I don’t know a lot about cars and the problems that can arise, but their team will patiently explain the pros and cons of certain options you may need to consider; this allows you to make the best educated decision.The whole team from the desk management to the mechanics are wonderful. Ask for Miss Debbie, she will take wonderful care of you.

Bought a used truck about a month ago and when I started it the next morning, I noticed the message on the screen informing that the front parksense sensors needed service. I called and got scheduled... They got me in and out quickly that day and when the part came in, they called, scheduled a time for me to drop the truck off and a ride back to work for me! My salesman and the underwriter were great and communicated very well and very completely! I have never bought a vehicle from a dealership, but in past searches they made me uncomfortable, Butler did not! I am so happy with my truck, Dahlia, she is my soulmate! And I have been nothing shy of impressed with how the staff treats the customer all around!
I had an issue with my vehicle so I stopped by to have it looked at by professionals. I spoke with a very professional individual name Trey who told me I was in great hands and they would look into my issue. I informed her I was just passing through and she assured me her team would do all they can to get me back rolling. She was very professional and knowledgeable. Made me feel like I was at my home dealership. The issue was definitely resolved and I am very satisfied. We need for professionals who are kind and compassionate towards other people.
Brian Defoor and his staff are WORLD CLASS. I am located in Jacksonville Beach Florida and I dealt with at least 10 other Jeep dealerships. Butler made the rest of them (especially the one in Jax) look like a joke. Brian made sure that everything about the brand new vehicle (Jeep Gladiator) his team delivered to my home was absolutely perfect! From the little to the big details, I will go back to Brian for all my future car purchasing needs.Women out there looking to purchase a vehicle, take note, this dealership doesnt talk down to you and they are VERY easy to work with. I literally had other dealerships with male sales people that made me never want to buy a car ever. Brian and his entire crew were the exact opposite. They were respectful, kind and they know what they are talking about!
The experience I had today is exactly why I DO NOT take my car into this dealership for service any more. Astronomical diagnostic fees!!!My car battery was dead (as in could not jump start it). FYI - the battery was under warranty which the ONLY reason I took it back to the dealer. The service department said that they had to test the battery in the vehicle for a complete electrical check. Okay, makes sense so far. The battery was so dead the test and recharge took all afternoon. I received a call the next morning saying the battery was fully charged and the car is ready. Only cost me $28 (reasonable). When I show up to get it, the radio, back-up camera, etc do not function. Seems they would have noticed that?? Went right back in and was told they would now have to run a diagnostic. Turns out the radio was somehow locked out and had to be reset. They had the car for less than an hour and I get charged an extra $120. That diagnostic fee is outrageous.
Tried to work a deal with these folks. They wouldn’t honor the true car price to the tune of $7000 more than what Truecar listed. Also they agreed to cover the payoff of my vehicle by increasing the sticker price of the car without telling me.Careful folks !!!
Our buying experience was great however our service experience has been lackluster. Today was the 2nd time we have brought our Journey in for service and a complaint about the idling and shifting of the vehicle. They had the car for less than 24 hours before calling us to say it was ready and they once again couldnt recreate the issue. The service advisor, Debra, was rude and short on the phone with me and when my husband went to pick the car up and figured out they only drove it 5 miles (not enough to recreate the issue) he questioned why they hadnt driven it longer. Debra again was confrontational telling him the Bluetooth issues we reported were not covered under the warranty, paint defects with the vehicle were not covered under the warranty (I purchased a $3,000 extended warranty on this vehicle AND we arent even out of the regular warranty period yet since the car only has 17k miles on it). My husband spoke with the service manager and we are going to give it one more chance if the issues persist but be warned to keep a close eye on the service your vehicle gets at this dealership. Its a shame because their sales staff is excellent with top-notch customer service. We were looking forward to this being our long-term dealer but will definitely reconsider that.

I bought my Jeep Cherokee at Butler CDR. My sales experience with Merlin was amazing. His product knowledge and attention to detail was superior. The finance department was incredible in dealing with me, explaining every aspect of my financing. I never felt overwhelmed. I just had my car serviced for the first time, a routine oil change, they were fantastic. I was in and out in, the desk/representative was so accommodating and professional. The facility is immaculate, modern and welcoming. I live on Hilton Head Island and willingly drive past another Keep dealership to go to Butler. The difference is night and day!

I had a few issues with my car and called to set up an appointment with Trey. I got my van taken care of quickly, parts were ordered and installed the next day! Trey was definitely a day of sunshine and she was so easy to talk to, helpful and worked with my schedule. She was the only one in the service department to acknowledge me when I walked in and took good care of me! I recommend asking to speak with her when you call or walk in! Thank you Trey for GREAT service and getting my van taken care of!
My Jeep calls for 0w20 oil and they used 5w30 conventional oil in it on my last service. The device I had before this one, they used 0w20 oil. Not sure why they would go back and forth using synthetic blend and conventional oil on a 2019 vehicle. I will be paying more attention going forward.
The service department at Butler rocks! I had a difficult to diagnose transmission issue. The entire team helped me out and got the problem solved. They also made sure that the issue was fixed properly without buying unnecessary parts and spending extra cash. A special shout out to Debbie for staying in touch and communicating with me.

I had an issue with the air leveling system on my Ram. I called and talked to Debbie in service and told her what was going on. She told me to bring it in the next morning and she would work me in. She got me in and they were able to get me fixed in a couple of hours. Debbie is great at what she does. Thanks
Best car buying experience I’ve ever had, hands down! So imaging leaving the hospital after having a baby and you end up here for a bigger vehicle. They accommodated all of our needs. They were considerate and thoughtful I had just had a cesarean section and even walked papers outside for me to sign, when I did have to go in someone held the door open for me which was super sweet. It literally felt like family being here, no phony salesmen or anything of that nature. Got in some good genuine laughs and conversation it wasn’t just a car buying experience. The hospitality here is real and just a great environment overall. My husband and I are more than pleased with the service/ experience and would highly recommend EVERYONE! We have gotten a few cars and this was the best place we’ve went too and we plan on going here for any future purchases.
I give this Delaership 4 out of 5 stars due to the following.Positives--Large selection of new and used cars. If they do not have the vehicle you are looking for they can find one in the area or have one shipped to the site for you.-Friendly salesmen that are not pushy or ask for all of your info up front. This is the reason why I purchased a used 2016 GMC Terrain Denali from them.-Never a long line to be seen in the Maintenance department.- Mopar store inside.- New dealership in work for relocationNegative --Semi-long wait for general maintenance.-waiting room small, and generic. No upgrades do to new dealership relocation opening up down the street.-Phone customer service can be better. Long waits.- Not good visibility from the main road. Difficult to find.

I would like to tell anyone looking to save money and have a knowledge salesman. They need to come to butler and deal with Danny he did a awesome job as car salesman. He acted like it was his own dealership. Just great. Also the general manger mike came out and met me and went above and beyond his job to give me a great price. They beat other deals by a lot. Even the finance manger was like fast and efficient.
I am loving the car so far and the whole transaction was smooth and painless. I do have one issue though...... I was told this model had the ability to have the uconnect with the ability to unlock the doors and other things from my phone but it turns out that is not the case. I feel a bit disappointed that I was told that and its not an option in my particular model.
After numerous terrible experiences from another local Jeep dealership (service and sales) we were referred to Butler and more specifically Charles in Sales. We drove from Bluffton and from the moment we sat down it was nothing short of a fantastic experience. I thought I knew exactly what we wanted but he found even better and we paid less for it, trading our Grand Cherokee and leaving in our 2021 Wrangler. Every time we met he always made us feel welcome and easy going with no rushing or pushing. During delivery he planned it to surprise my fiancé and make sure she was left speechless. We have had the vehicle 2 months now and still love it.
Within the new, beautiful showroom there’s a team of highly knowledgeable sales staff. At Butler, the Jeep selection is vast and fresh. Joey K. was able to get the exact Jeep I was looking for in both for options and my budget. I shopped elsewhere but couldn’t find what I wanted. But finally Joey K. was able to help me drive away with my new Wrangler from Butler. The experience has exceeded my expectations.
Amazing service, have always felt Ive been treated like a valued customer. Vehicle concerns are rare but Ive felt that Im always taken care of effectively and efficiently. Where do I start? First off customer service is amazing!! My salesman, Jeremy Rohe was super knowledgeable about the vehicles on the lot. Went in today to browse and test drive couple trucks to make a decision. As soon as i exited my car I was greeted and ask if I needed assistance. Rshaad worked with me he was patience, showed me all the vehicles, I was interested in as well as let me test drive. He informed me of the difference in each vehicle. He has a great personality just not trying to sell you any car or showing the most expensive vehicle. It was a great experience. I would go back and definitely work with him for my next purchase.
