Never have I ever experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. My vehicle was brought there for what should’ve been a simple fix, but it turns out that nothing is simple at Mike Smith. I got one date when my vehicle would be ready and when that date came ( upon me contacting the dealership) come to find out my vehicle would not be ready one said date. Which was fine, but it gets worst. When I called the dealership yet again Kevin Roberts ( my so called estimator) informed me yet again that my vehicle would not be ready and proceeded to give me another date. Kevin told me that they we’re putting my vehicle back together and it would be ready 09-24-21. I then asked Mr Roberts could he give me a call and update me on the progress and to my surprise I received nothing. So I thought no information was a good thing and proceeded to believe that Mr Roberts second date was correct, but oh how wrong I was! Once 09-24-21 came I call promptly that morning and was informed by Mr Roberts that not only was my vehicle not ready, but that Mr Roberts had found out on 09-22-21 that the body shop has received the wrong part. ( Even though Mike Smith has had my vehicle since 08-26-21) Now I understand that things happen and I’m-fully aware that no one is perfect, but! How can you explain the lack of communication on Mr Roberts end. We are now in the Sixth week and I still have heard from nor know when I will receive my vehicle. My suggestion is to steer clear of Mike Smith collision. I have received better service and communication at a McDonald’s then at Mike Smith Collision.Sincerely,A bet unhappy customer.

I brought my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica in because I had been in an accident. Kevin handled my case. He was very professional and had my van fixed in a timely manner. I am very pleased with how it looked when I went to pick it up. If I ever need to have anything fixed I will definitely be bringing it back.

Drove a hour there to get 5 different issues fixed on a 2019 atlas. They kept it a week to only fix 2 minor issues.Now I have to bring it to a completely different place to get the other issues fixed. It was a waste of my time and energy driving there and back twice ( 5 hours of total travel time) . Maybe they do better work on other makes an model’s but I wouldn’t recommend them to to work on Volkswagen atlas.

Based on our last experience which was to correct damage done while doing body work post accident, I will not seek the services of this business again. We are loyal Mercedes customers and love the service department at the dealership but the collision center doesn’t have the same attention to detail. We got a lot of excuses about delays and damage that was done that was not related to the collision that brought us there in the first place. Sad that they don’t take more pride in their work.

My car looked great except they didn’t replace a rim on it that was damaged, I had a new door ding spot that wasn’t previously there, my tire light was still on my dash, but what made me more mad is that it took almost 2 months for them to have my car ready and kept getting the run around saying “it should be done by the end of the week”.

I made an appointment to have an estimate on a repair to my car. After receiving the estimate, I made an appointment. When I brought my car back to have the repairs, they told me that I couldn’t have my car fixed because I hadn’t told them that I was filing on my insurance. No one at the facility asked me if I was filing, so I didn’t know to tell them that. When I told the employee who gave me the bid that no one had asked me, he said, “Well I usually ask that question, but this time I didn’t.” He told me to leave my car and he would call me back the next day, after speaking to my insurance company. After 3 days of not hearing from him, I called back. He had not followed up with me and my car had just been sitting there, so I had to go back to Beaumont and get my car. It was a total waste of my time.

Lauren is the worst communicator. Was told 3-4 days on a door dent. We are on day 7 and still have no clue when our car will be ready. Worst customer service ever. Very rude and honestly does not care about the customer. Would not recommend at all ever.

Very poor cleaning post job. Whole interior was covered in dust. They tried to clean using a shop vac and made it worst. Passenger side door handle jams and does not lock the door close. Huge safety concern, hope I wont have to do lawsuit in the wake of an accident due to this door. They included warranty on the repair but why would I take it to same place who caused this mistake to begin with. By the way, before repair door handle worked just fine, even after accident door handle worked as it should, after the repair by this shop, door handles are malfunctioning. What a mess by a brand repair shop. Front bumper was damaged during crash, shop didnt even replace it, worst, gouged it trying to pressure wash it. Now my cars driver front assist sensor is permanently unavailable. I wonder how did that happen just after the repair! Oh I dont, I know who did it, its the same repair shop!. STEER CLEAR OF THIS SHOP FOR YOUR FUTURE REPAIR NEEDS! So to do warranty work, just in case if they care about their reputation, I have to drop it off and probably leave my car at work for God knows how many months(since there will be no money made for rework), I am pretty sure they wont reimburse me for rental, either way it will be costing me out of pocket. My insurance preferred different shop but I fought to bring repair to this shop, what a mistake on my side.

Okay..so to be honest... I wasnt sure about the shop .Not because of reputation. For the simple fact I have my vehicle fixed up just the way I liked it .. and just wasnt sure. But they fixed it better then how I originally had it they always answered my call and answered all my questions with no problem . Very professional reliable. And the quality of work was great . Im very picky .. and I had nothing to pick at .. good job mike smith!

My vehicle was taken to Mike Smith Collision by tow. I was called and informed that they had received it. Due to the severity of the damage it was there a little longer than I expected but I didnt mind because I wanted my vehicle to be fixed. Kevin kept me informed on the progress of the work being done. If I had to call him with a question and he didnt answer my call was being returned in less than 30 minutes. Long story short I was amazed with the work that was done, my truck looked brand new, they washed it and cleaned it. I was happy with my experience at Mike Smith Collision. Would recommend tihem to a family or friend.

Picked up date kept getting extended until the final 3rd time. Was told my vehicle would be fully restore to its original condition before Hurricane Laura damage. FYI: my vehicle looks fully brand new before Hurricane damages. Finally after approximately 2 months of waiting, for my car back. Here is a list of all that were wrong: 1: Did not replace the passenger side window. Still have deep damage scratches from the Hurricanes. Told my rep Sonny and he said that it’s not even on the receipt paper so they have to talk to the insurance again. 2: On the day of picking up my vehicle(I live in Lake Charles, LA), while driving on the interstate, the glass roof panoramic blew off. It almost hit the vehicle driving behind me. Luckily the driver had quick reflexes and avoided the glass. That could have been unfortunate and lawsuits hammering down everywhere. We both pulled to the side and I had to say sorry. He was nice and kept on his way. I had to drive all the way back to Beaumont to get the roof fix(was near Sulphur when it blew off) which should have been done correctly the first time. Was told the guy forgot to primed the roof before putting it with the glue. 3: Did not replace the back bumper. There is still deep scratches from roof shingles/hurricane damage on it. They just basically painted over it. 4: Passenger door seat adjuster button lodged/compressed into the door more.(Mercedes CLA250) The button is not in the original position. It’s suppose to be linear with the door. I can adjust the seat up and forward but no longer can push the seat back for any leg room for passengers. Before Hurricane, it works perfectly fine. 5: After a few days of them fixing my glass roof, I came to picked up my vehicle(2nd time), they gave me the wrong vehicle. Like I could have drove off with someone else vehicle if I didn’t say anything. That’s how unprofessional they are. That tells me all I need to know about their incompetence. With up to 17k worth of repairs, I would expect my car to look fully brand new. It’s not even worth it to even ask them to replace the window now. Apparently I have a lifetime warranty with my repairs but it’s not even worth if I go back to these guys. I don’t recommend this shop at all. Beware if you have a luxury vehicle like Mercedes or BMWs.

I turned my car in and having been calling constantly leaving a message my advisor never called me back and never returned my messages I left or left with others I spoke with so I never knew what was going on with my vehicle then I spoke to another agent for her to send something to my email saying check what work I want done then I sent that back they kept telling me after my car was being worked on to find out today when I get ride that mike Smith never got any of my messages this was a terrible experience to be with out a car for almost a week and the part was in already I hope this never happens to anyone else.

Car has been in shop for 3 weeks. Biggest problem never can get any updates will call they will transfer you to who is handling your repairs. Leave message will not return. Next day you call transfer you no answer. Call right back tell them you need to speak with that person they will walk back there automatically they pick up.I havent heard anything from them since last Wednesday. I have called the dealership and got more help getting information about the problem.

Experience was fine, my car looked back to normal after it left the shop however, I wished someone could have told me when and how long they expected to have my car. No one could tell me that until the day before they finished. My car was in the shop for a week and a half, it would’ve been great to know this up front so I can plan accordingly. In addition, it took a week for them to even get to my car, according to the rep. Planning on their end could have been better coordinated.

Brittany was very kind and had great manners. She quickly gave me an idea of what they would have to fix and how. When I called she would always answer politely giving me updates. When I got the car I was very pleased! The paint color, which is what I worried about, was very nice. I give Brittany 5 stars.The bad part which has nothing to do with her was the lady at the front. I’ve worked in different places to know that you are the first face the costumer sees and represent the business. When I first got there she came off rude, like the attitude of what do you want!? I decided in my mind that if she kept on through the whole experience I would mention it to her manager. I went up there about three times and she just came off rude, judgmental. What she didn’t know was that I been a costumer there before and was returning for the quality of work but she was ruining the experience. To be honest, at first I thought the body shop did a good job. A day or two after I picked up my truck, I noticed a spot of damage missed by the estimator. The bed of the truck had been driven into the cab resulting in a couple of small dents. Second, my aluminum wheels. There is some substance coating the left rear. White-ish, and smooth. Looks like residual polishing compound. Third, the rear bumper had to be replaced. But the factory trailer electrical connector is loose. Fourth, the front bumper was also replaced but there was residual adhesive left on the chrome. Quite unsightly.These are examples of a lack of attention to detail. My last experience at Mike Smith was superior. This time? Rather mediocre.I had not thought Id use another shop for my body work. But after finding these issues, I have second thoughts about quality of work, attention to detail, and service after the sale. Needless to say, Im a bit disappointed with Mike Smith Collision.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any automotive Collision Center. I sent my car here because I figured they would be the best to handle fixing my BMW. This turned into the Collision Center giving me a run around for two weeks. First I was told the vehicle would be done the following week tuesday and that they would be calling with updates. Didnt get any updates for several days and when I called the friday before the tuesday i was suppose to ge my car, they told me they were waiting on a part and that I may have to wait till Thursdays (two days after the original date). Again I waited and no updates so I called the Tuesday of the week I was suppose to get my car and they told me they were getting ready to fix the parts. Thursday comes and I call to see if I will get my vehicle that day and they tell me theyre preparing my car to get painted and after that they will do a final inspection but they will not be done till next Tuesday. At this point Im a bit irritated because non of this is being communicated to me till I call. The next Tuesday comes around and guess what they still havent finished, mind you they told my insurance that they would be done so my rental is due back Wednesday. Wednesday comes along and they are close to finishing but were there are other issues. At this point I decide I have to turn the rental vehicle in and drive to collision center to wait till I can get my car. When I finally do after waiting for it to be cleaned. I enter the car and theres dust all over the seats and the the center console. The customer service was terrible, they didnt communicate, and my car was dirtier than when it got there. Needless to say I will not be taking my car there anymore.

The engine is whining feels weak. My back window tint is hazy. My sun roof is not working. Car key had no battery in it. It took an additional 2 weeks longer then they expected and they gave an extra week from the initial phone call to me which took a week for them to make. Not impressed.

My husband and I have used Mike Smith in the past with great results but this time was different. Im not sure whats wrong with their customer service but something has changed and we will not ever use them again. The guy handling our car (Chad Hale) doesnt communicate with his clients or insurance. My car went into the shop on September 5th because of an accident. It was only body work and no mechanical issues. Had someone been nice enough to call and update us along the 4 weeks and 2 days they had our vehicle Id probably be a lot happier. My husband or I had to call repeatedly to get updates. Every time we left messages the calls werent returned. My husband eventually went up there after working all night and talked to them. Our car was returned (after a month and 2 days) to us the next day but we discovered it wasnt fixed properly. So, we returned the car to them again. They were suppose to have us a rental car that afternoon but didnt. We had to hound them about it and they started ignoring our calls. We called them with a different phone number and they answer first ring. Finally at 5 pm the next day we got one. Our car is still in the shop (day 3, second time in the shop), I hope these guys get it together. We are contacting our insurance (USAA) and complaining, because they were a recommended site. Im not sure they should be recommend to anyone.10/29/18So the guy that responded to this that said that should have never happen and asked me to contact him must not really care and is only concerned with looking good about being concerned in the comment section. I tired numerous times to get a hold of him, even left my contact information for him to contact me the same day of the original post and I still have yet to hear from Johnathan. Ive talked to numerous other people recently who are having big problems with Mike Smith Collision Center. One lady told me they put a used windshield in her sons truck and they left the registration/inspection sticker on it. Im not sure if there isnt some insurance fraud going on here. They replaced one of my headlights in my vehicle that didnt need replaced. The left one needed it, the right one didnt. They left the old one in my vehicle. Thats the only reason I knew they replaced it because my car is less than a year old.

From my experience, these people are very rude; however, I will say that they do get the job done— eventually. Their work revolves around a system of procrastination; they give no updates as promised on their fraudulent “Our Promise” section on their website and poster in their building. Zero updates, they take much too long for the simplest of issues, and overall, an utter waste of my time. It would probably be faster to go all the way to Houston and wait there for my car to get fixed and come all the way back than to leave my car with these people. Overall, complete dissatisfaction with this place, and based on what other people say, they only come here for the same reason I did- it’s the only halfway decent place in Beaumont (according to Yelp). Nonetheless, this place does not even qualify as halfway decent. If there was an option for zero stars, I would select it without hesitation.

They did not complete the job left chips in the hood and then clear coated over the chips did not even paint the grill that was all scratched up then offered to touch it up with some touch up paint that is Bull kaka The truck was dirty full of dirt and mud when I got it back did not clean it very well Will never do business with them again they didnt even offer to let me bring it back to fix it later if I was not in a bind and just lost my job I Could not afford the rent a car anymore I would have not took it I woulda made them fix it 1st but I was in a bind Then they told me it would be ready one day and then told me 4 more days then told me 2 more days then told me that Friday then I picked it up Friday evening they painted it that morning Was very disappointed in the Professionalism From Mike Smith collision center do not recommend doing business with them expresly their lady in the office Britney she did not know what was going on half the time Have a good day

Body work turned out great, but the treatment of my car was below par. There is dust thru out the inside of my car. They did not reset the windows on the doors they worked on. The Windows do not work from the drivers controls unless the windows get reset.

My car was sent here after an accident I had 7/22/18. It took over a month to have my vehicle repaired my service agent Chad was terrible at returning calls and keeping his promises. Finally I received my vehicle which looked to be in mint condition to my surprise it wasnt. I was involved in a rear end accident so all the work completed was to the rear of my vehicle. After the accident/repairs my trunk would not close properly. I called oct and nov 18 and left a message per the instructions of the receptionist for chad. I had not received a response and it slipped my mind so I called back in Feb because of course my trunk is still not closing properly. I know yourre thinking why did you just go over there well I live in Houston which they know and its about 2 hrs for me to get to the shop. My accident happened in Lake Charles and this is the closest I could get it towed. I have a 2018 Mercedes so with the recommendation on the closest Mercedes dealer I took my vehicle here. Anyway once I called back in Feb to advise that I still hadnt received a call back from last year the receptionist then advised that Chad no longer worked there, and put me in contact with someone else I believe he was a manager of some sort. I was out of town for Mardi Gras and on my way back to Tx the manager told me to stop by and it should be an easy fix . So I stopped by on my way into tx waited about 45mins to an hour in the waiting room only to be told they dont have the part. I advised my concern with the lack of communication and the fact that I live in htx the rep adv that someone from a htx shop would call me before the end of the week. This is about March 7 2019. Fast forward to March 27th STILL NO CALL ! I called and advised that I still had not received a call the receptionist advised that a Kevin Robinson would be giving me a call. Today is April 23, 2019 STILL NO CALL. I would advise you all to look elsewhere unless you have time in your schedule to play cat and mouse with this establishment. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted at the lack of customer service that I have been shown.

Overall they did a nice job repairing my vehicle, except for one small piece that was questionable as to whether it was broken in the same accident or not, but they figured it out and offered to replace that piece. However, I was extremely dissatisfied with how long they took to finish my vehicle. The deadline was extended like 4 times, all because of things that were preventable. For example, I was on my way to pick it up after already having it delayed twice, just to get a call saying that they somehow messed up the paint on the roof (even though the roof was not affected by the accident I was in) and theyd have to repaint it. I was then told it would be ready the following Monday, well Monday came around and then I was told Tuesday. I ended up picking it up on January 15th, after it had been in the shop since December 18th.That was my only problem. The employees were polite and understanding, and once the car was finally done, it was done pretty well. I was just upset about the wait, but I also understand that stuff happens and that they probably arent like that for everyone.

I thought the world of this shpp and trusted thst my var would vome out better than before. Not !!! Now i have a LED light on front that got broken in a side/frontend reck, and told them it was blinkimg after reck to check. Yes they checked connection,lol what a joke. Came to conclusion they couldnt say either way to insurance company. Then top it all, my spare tire came up missing. When asked about it, because they did replace a wheel. I was told they use jack stands. So i guess my car was in jack stands for months, because i my car was there 2 months or so because of holidays. So im just saying BEWARE !!! Those small things addef up to well over 1500.00 for me.

Awful!!! My 2017 Volkswagen Golf R was kept for two months, they took it to a Chrysler dealer for an alignment. That really messed stuff up on an awd car with performance suspension that has to be specifically aligned on a VW machine. They were supposed to fix a fender and a rim and they charged my insurance 21k dollars!! They broke an axle, ordered a new axle and coupling. Then decided my transfer case was bent, then said I needed a new gearbox. It was problem after problem. Then I show up to get my car and my key doesn’t work and there are new scratches and it’s missing a friggin centercap!!!! So angry! DO NOT USE THEM!

My BMW 740i, ignition coil failed On my way! To work; it had also been previously hit from the back. I live in Louisiana; therefore I had to have it towed to Beaumont. Kiera and Whille were so awesome they took care of my car as if it was there own. I had never met ither of them but, this didnt stop them from treated me as if I were family. Everything was handle over the phone, promptly and professionally. Did I mention these two were amazing. After my ignition coil was replaced, Mr. Willie had already took car of the finances thru my warrenty company, he changed my oil, and replaced my washer fluid. He also was kind enough to bring my car over to their collision center. Where Mrs Kiera took over to handle repairs on my bumper, having to deal with the other parties insurance company. She stayed in constant contact with me, updating me daily, and walking me thru each step throughly. Did I mention These two were heaven sent. Ive never felt so comfortable leaving my vehicle in anyones hands. Mike Smiths BMW of Beaumont, you have and awesome team. Special Thanks to Willie and Kiera.Victoria

I turned my vehicle in for service to repair a bumper, left quarter panel, door mirror and frame. My appraiser inspected it. He said it would take about six days and told me he would call me with an update the following week. The following week came and he did not call, so I called to find that they had made no progress as they were waiting on one part. My appraiser told me that they should be done with the repairs the following week and that he would call me with an update. The following week came and again he did not call, so I again called to find that they were working on it, but were not done. It would be another few days to finish. My appraiser said it would be done in three more days, and that he would call me with an update. Three days later came. Yet again he did not call, so I yet again called to find that it was complete but not really. It still had to be cleaned, which took over two hours, so instead of picking it up early in the day, it was after 5:00 pm.In summary, communication from this business is terrible, as in non-existent, and their work is very slow and done with an air of indifference like they dont care whether the vehicle theyre working on gets fixed or not (not sure if it is out of laziness or ineptitude, but its evident).I only came here because my auto insurance works directly with them. If it were up to me, I would have gone directly to my Nissan provider and would recommend the same to anyone else with collision issues, as this place doesnt seem to care.

My girl took her car to get fixed after someone her her car. Just a regular paint job was needed. Took them almost 4 weeks to fix it and they lost a part to her car. The man never kept in contact with her and hes yet to call about replacing the lost piece.
