Things break in Three’s or so the say. First the microwave with different issues, then multiple issues with the dryer and finally the washing machine needed some help. These are all 15 years old, our technician Tristan did a great job in not only repairing the appliances, but helping guide us through the decision of repair or buy new. Ron took care of us when the broiler of our 10-year-old Electrolux oven stopped working. It was a pretty complex repair, but he had no trouble diagnosing it and fix it in the end. The cost was high because the controller board that needed replacing was hard to find. But he found it for us and came back promptly to install and fix. He was on time, courteous and professional. He even took time to help me take apart the door so that I can clean years-old stain off the class. Now our oven looks like new. Highly recommend A&P. They are one of the best local businesses!

I’ve used A&P for parts and repairs for 15 years and I always have been pleased with their service - from my initial phone call through the repair. My latest repair was a leaking front load washing machine. Ron came out within a few days of my call, identified the problem, got the part ordered, and was back within a week to complete the repair. Pricing for the part and labor was very reasonable and they stand behind both with a 90 day warranty.

We had a $5 bracket that broke on our 6 year old $460 above-stove microwave. I took it in and paid $35 for them to look at it and return a quote. They called and said the part wasn’t available anymore but that they fixed it w/o the part. Since they can’t warranty the fix as they didn’t use a factory bracket,, they gave me the fix for free! Ron and his assistant in training were prompt (6/7) and went right to work. Diagnosis took a while and they were not able to fully make a repair due to parts being unavailable. Still they helped us understand how we could still use the range safely and got it working much better than before. The technician did an excellent job. He had all the replacement parts ready based off of the call I made in to the company. He quickly fixed my broken icemaker. As a bonus he also adjusted my fridgeraider so the doors would swing to close vs swinging outward when they were opened. That tended to leave the fridge open more often than you would like. So thank you so much for being so awesome A&P! Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again.

Ive used them a couple of times and theyve been great. Very knowledgeable and professional. Came out to fix my Jenn-Air oven today. I couldnt find the model number, and their tech came out to look at it and found that its a commercial oven that they dont work on. He connected me with the people that could help me out and didnt charge me for the service call. I was also having a problem with my washing machine and I asked him if he could look at that since he was here and then I could at least pay him for the visit. He checked out the washing machine, told me how I could fix it myself, and once again, did not charge me. They have certainly earned loyalty from me and Ill use them every chance I get.

After our washers circuit board had failed and calling a couple places I was very impressed on how quick and efficient A&P was locating the parts I needed. Hopefully I won’t need anything anytime soon but if I do and it’s appliance related they will definitely be my first call. Great customer service/support. Had to get a tension arm for my dryer and a tube bearing kit for my washer and when I had some issues with the install on my dryer they replaced the entire kit for me with no charge. Second time around it went in just fine. I got a drain pump from them a few years back as well. Their prices are lower than other business closer to me and they have always had parts already in stock. Will definitely recommend and will do business here again.

We have had amazing service from A&P! We had been trying to fix the lower oven in my double oven. Amid trips to find replacement parts and testing the door mechanism, and finally a scheduled visit, I am happy to report the oven is fixed! They were persistent until we figured out the issue and it didnt cost an arm and a leg to do so. We will definitely use them again.

They were correct, but kept me updated. When the parts arrived Ryan came out and installed them. He explains what is being done which I appreciate.

I called A&P Appliance looking for a part for my dishwasher. I called once, and was quoted $35 for the part. I decided to do a little more checking before committing to purchasing from here, which I did. I decided to purchase from here even though it was slightly more expensive, they could get it faster than shipping, and I was supporting a local business. So I called back about 30 minutes later and spoke to a different employee. They found the part and quoted me $40, I mentioned that the previous employee quoted $35, and they said oh, okay, no problem, $35 it is. So I ordered the part. When it was ready for pick up I went in, they found my part and I paid. Was not asked to sign anything with my card, could not see what price they rung up, and was not automatically given a receipt. I had to ask for it. Thank goodness I did, because they charged me $65! I mentioned this to them, and they told me the person who told me $35 was mistaken, (even though I found the part online for $30). They did honor the $35 though. The whole thing felt really shady, I mean, are their prices just random? I was given 3 different prices by 3 different people. Another issue I had: I walked up to the door and noticed they did have a mask mandate stated on a sign, which was good during these Covid times. I was wearing my mask, so no problem. I walk in and only one employee of the 5 or 6 that were in this small space was wearing a mask, and his kept slipping off of his nose. No social distancing of any kind. Not sure why they bothered having a sign on their door if they arent following their own rule. Bottom line, next time I need a part I will order online. I like to support small businesses, so this is a shame. Figure out your pricing and wear your damn masks.

Ryan and the A&P team did an amazing job. They called and asked questions about my repair, they verified diagnostic codes and gave estimates of part price costs based on potential failures. Ryan gave me several scenarios of costs so that I could better determine if it was time to buy a new appliance. Ryans work on site was very professional and thorough. Woke up to warm food Friday morn. Sigh. Was pretty sure there wasnt going to be anyone that could make it out that day. I was wrong!!! Not only were they kind and professional, they sent someone at 3:00pm. Noe was super nice and professional. And! They didnt make us buy a part and tell me everything that is wrong (think car dealership) he was in and out quickly, and said that if what he did doesnt work, there is a 90 day warranty. Im sold! Next time something goes wrong - they will be the first ones I call! (Mind you, I hope thats not for a long time!) Thank you!

Without hesitation, I recommend A&P Appliance. Ive ordered parts through them and utilized their repair services. They were easy to schedule with, worked with my schedule, gave a date and time certain for the service techs arrival. If he was running late, I received a courtesy call to let me know. Our 20 year old gas oven stopped working. We called several appliance repair companies only to be told they were too busy to repair our oven. Then we called A & P Appliance, and they scheduled an appointment for us without hesitation. On the day of the appointment Ryan (our service tech) called and said he was finishing another appointment early, and wanted to know if he could come sooner. That worked out great. Once at our home, Ryan was a true professional. He put on booties to keep our house clean, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Before making the repair he informed us of the cost and asked permission. We accepted, and are happy to report our oven works great. We recommend them, and will use them again in the future.

We have had two terrific recent experiences with A&P.On the first occasion I stopped in to inquire about ordering a replacement part for our Bosch dishwasher. Their salesperson Ryan was very helpful, and found the part I needed and placed my order. Additionally he shared with me that there are online videos that could help me learn how to install the replacement part myself. I really appreciated this. My daughter and I watched the video and successfully repaired our dishwasher.Our next interaction with A&P was related to a repair visit for our Kenmore washing machine. Ryan also works as a service technician and he arrived at our home earlier than scheduled because he finished a previous job early. He met my husband and went straight to work assessing and repairing the washer. He was very thorough and explained what the problem was and how he fixed it. He did a great job and is very helpful and knowledgeable. I plan to use A&P appliance repair when I have future repair needs.

Ryan from A&P was able to get the job done at a reasonable rate. When our stovetop ignitors started clicking and we were unable to figure out the problem on our own, we called A&P. They were booked out a couple of weeks, but the service was worth the wait. Ryan completed a diagnosis and went through a few scenarios to decide what would meet our budget and fix the issue. Ryans work on site was very professional and thorough. In addition he was on time, such a nice change from having a service time window!

The technician was very respectful and showed up the day before a holiday. He was also very honest, which goes a long way with us. We had to replace the lower spray arm on our dishwasher, and A&P Appliance had the part (a little cheaper than what we saw on Amazon). They made getting the replacement piece easy! I hope we dont have anything else break, but if we do were coming back.

A&P to the rescue. My 20-year-old refrigerator experienced a problem (no cooling and a strange, new “click” sound) yesterday and I quickly diagnosed the problem (failed start relay). The fix seemed fairly straight forward, but I needed an elusive part. After calling two other repair centers (one did’t answer and the other said maybe it was time to buy a new fridge — what?!?!) I found A&P. Taylor took my call and quickly processed my request...I needed a specific part (one that my online research suggested was “limited”). Taylor said she could get the part, no problem. Would later today be ok? Uh, yes (I had a dead fridge, melted ice cream and warming beer). A few hours later, the part was in and I got the call. When I arrived at the store, I introduced myself and said I was there for my part.Taylor celebrated with me from behind the counter. She told me it was the LAST one available in the city. Sweet! Thanks, Taylor. And, thanks, A&P....the beer is cooling now.

The two A & P staff members who greeted me behind the counter were welcoming and helpful. What I came in for was to see if I could recycle an old space heater; I wasnt sure where else to go. They not only said Sure; they readily told me in which bin to place the heater itself and in which bin to place the large cardboard box containing it. This may sound like a small thing, but I found it to be quite positive and significant, because most electronics stores or service centers are not inclined to recycle your appliances for you. So, thank you to A & P not only for helping me but for contributing to the larger cause of resource sustainability.

Very happy with my experience with this local business. Super easy to schedule a repair technician to look at the condensation on my freezer door. Came the next day, called ahead, was early to the appointment and reviewed the situation. When I made the appointment the scheduler told me the price of a new replacement seal for the door and had the technician bring it with him in case we determined that was the problem. We replaced the seal and YAY, no more condensation. I am Very Pleased! And a small, local business is a Bonus!!!

We had a stellar experience at A&P thanks to Ryan’s advice on approaching a problem with my dishwasher. He showed us a diagram of the machine, where to test and how to test. He also described several possible problems, very honestly suggesting that while they would be happy to perform the repair in shop or on site, we could save money doing it ourselves. Once we discovered what it was and resolved it--voila, we were back in the clean dish business.

So far little to be liked about the place, terrible 1st impression. The young man at the counter was less than helpful to say the least. The amount they quoted per part was very expensive. A simple thermostat was double the normal cost. But in all honesty he did say the original amount was Retail but that he would be able to help me out and give it to me for only $25 vs. $30. I asked if they could do better since online parts, Sears etc... have it for half the price.... Of course the answer was no which was expected but I thought they might come down a little. Even with shipping etc... they were just to expensive on the cheap items let alone the expensive parts inquired about as well. Its to bad since weve been looking for a local option to avoid having to plan every little repair out on our Rental properties appliances. I would never have made it a point to post a review, especially after the positive feedback from previous posts. But after the way the guy acted it was clearly deserved.

Wow NOT only did they show up on time they were early. Now that is service....They came prepared and knew what they were doing. The service rep wasted no time and jumped right on the problem. He even showed me where replacement of a belt would be a good idea. He will be back with the new belt this week. Ive seen a lot of bad reviews here. Maybe because the sales people arent the technicians. This is a great place, if you know what you are looking for. My washer wasnt working and after I did my own diagnosis, I took out the part and then took the part with me into the store, just to make sure.They had the correct part from the part number I had given them over the phone. I got home and installed the new part without issues. Thanks A&P!! My washer is in like new condition now!!If you know what you need, this is a great place to go.

Was recommended a part, which did not work. Tried to return it the very next day and they would not take it. Would have been willing to pay a restocking fee or have them record our info. Pretty bad customer service. I would expect they would work with you after one day. They just wanted our money, very disappointed and will not go back.

A&P used to be Beaverton Appliance Service and Repair. With the new ownership, A&P has not lost one step in quality service and repair. We just had our washer and dryer go on the fritz, so we called A&P up. We scheduled a time, and the two service reps arrived right on time!! With no messing around, they got right to work, and completed the repair on both appliances within 45 minutes. They were very friendly and did a wonderful job of cleaning up the dust and materials! The names of the service reps: Noe and Ron. Great guys; great service!!A&P is at the top of our list for appliance repair.

Wonderful service! Set parts side for us on the phone. Got there with the broken part and talked about a different replacement part that would work better then the one we were requesting. The appliance is over 23 years old and original parts are no longer available but they knew what would work.
