I have only ever had good service here. Angelo is the barber I make appointments with and he has an intuition for understanding the type of haircut I am requesting that I have had difficulty finding elsewhere. He is always courteous, timely, and is happy to chat with you while cutting your hair or let you sit in silence if you prefer.Its a little on the pricey side, but I keep going back for the consistently high quality haircuts.Also, I went here for my haircut before my Wedding and Angelo made me look perfect for my wedding day.
I first met Angelo at a hair studio in Redmond a few years ago. He listened to what I wanted and then gave me a bold and edgy haircut that far exceeded expectations. Over the years Ive fluctuated between edgy haircuts and conservative (get a job) haircuts: Angelo nails it every time. And so, Ive followed him from place to place as hes moved around. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately for us when we went in to see if we could get some professional opinions about how to care for my boyfriend’s beard we were met with a young gentleman, (clean shaven) while extremely nice had literally no knowledge. While it’s good to point out pleasing scents and such you would probably sell a lot more if you could actually educate the customer on what each product does and maybe even have some personal experience with using them. We felt like we were being pushed to buy products on advice like “Well, just like hair on your head, beard hair acts better when you condition it.” after asking us if my boyfriend already used beard shampoo, conditioner and/or oils or balms. Learn how to listen to your customers to find out what they actually need and you will get customers for life. The store itself was neat and clean, but the other sales associate in the store kind of lurked around and literally was stroking his mustache rather comically while looking bored. We probably won’t return here, which is unfortunate because it could have been a great experience.
Walked in to test out some products and walked out with a fresh cut and new product. Angelo was able to squeeze me in between appointments. He listened to EXACTLY what I wanted. The man is absolute quality! Mitch was super helpful in recommending products for certain things. Great service all the way around!
Dropped by due to the amazing stock they had. Prices were fair for the area and Mitch was awesome to talk to, the staff all seem cool. I was just here for a few days but if I ever come back I might drop by and grab some more products!
Fair with poor customer serviceTo make it clear: Angelo is not good- he is just not too badBut: they make me arrange an appointment for trimming my beard AND shortening the head hair on the side - after waiting for 4 days I arrive and the barber tells me that 30 min is not enough for both so I had to choose although they made the appointment and they knew what I was expecting and the saddest part of it I was done after 15 minutes so both would have easily been made possible within 30 minutes which was the original duration of my appointment

Five star haircut and shave. Two star chair. Back still aching two hours after leaving the store.
After all the effort to market high end products, the shaving brush is a disgrace. Hair comes out of the brush by the handful and clogs the razor..the terms luxury and art are marketing terms that do not seem to be taken seriously by the Supply Chain. When are companies going ot realize that consumers are after REAL value and features...not Marketing lip service...dont waste your time.
I was in the Bellevue location today shopping around for my boyfriends Christmas gift. The SM John was the one assisting me. I come from an extensive background of retail customer service in luxury goods and I was truly upset and offended by his overall demeanor. He was judgmental from the moment he approached me, to my face looked at me up and down TWICE. I get its a small store and customer assistance is a given but never have I gone into this location before and had someone treat me the way he did. I let him know I had been in the day prior and was just finalizing a decision. He was rude till the very end. I finally just told him I would be back another day to receive service from his employees that seem to be much friendlier and helpful. The fact that the SM provides horrible customer and his employees are fabulous, really say something!!
