Great shop! Easy to communicate with over text or by calling, and they did a great job with the work I asked for, and also took care of several other small issues on my bike that I didn’t even mention to them (as well as one issue that I wasn’t even aware of). Reasonable rates. A little backed up, but so is every shop these days it seems
Down to earth. Very knowledgeable. Very friendly. Saw them out shredding mountain bikes the day after I bought a new bike from them. They live the life.
Good people doin good work take care of you and your bike. Ive taken my bike in a few times at this point and am always thankful how they go the extra mile by checking things I didnt think to check, and their rates are reasonable. They are booked out quite ahead of time so go soon to get your spot in line.
My son had three spokes on his norco charger 24-in rear tire. He loves sending bigger and bigger stuff at the ripe age of 10!!This was the only shop that had spokes the correct size for a 24-in tire that they would sell to me. They gave all the tips on how to do it myself correctly. they did encourage me for them to do a professionally, they gave me an option to do it on my own. Other shops would not allow that option.Super friendly, you can see the camaraderie in the shop between the workers. Great place to come to get your bike serviced!-Arty
Duke and his crew at Alley Cat are awesome. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and reasonable. They always take good care of us.My daughter just had a flat and they fixed it on the spot so that we could get out in the sun while it lasted. Thanks Duke
The crew at Alley Cat continually surprises me with their generosity, knowledge, and skill. Best bike shop in town. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.
I have not had shop work done here, but have grabbed some components here. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Also grabbed a full face helmet from them. Recommended for a chill experience and if youre buying components from them and want to install yourself theyll give you some good tips and tricks
Alley Cat has is a great full service shop! All the knowledge underneath one roof! My suspension has never felt better! Thanx to Alley Cat!
Sent two messages about a shock rebuild. Never heard back from them. Ended up just purchasing a new shock online. I know shops are busy but kind of a bummer.
Super fast service. They did a full shock service in a few hours and got it back to me same day with time to spare!Theyre one of the few shops in town without silly pandemic rules regarding returns etc. This is the shop that other bike shop employees go to for suspension work 👌🏼
Duke is the absolute best!! Best bike shop in town. Super friendly staff. They go over and above to help you get back on the trails as fast as possible. I can’t say enough great things about these guys!
My husband and I walked into Ally Cat yesterday to replace the pedals on my bike and get the fork on my husbands bike checked out. Everyone was awesome, friendly and, quick to help. Both fixes were done in about 15 minutes. We have always had an awesome experience here and will always take our bikes here. Thanks, Alley Cat!!
Duke is the man. Always happy to help despite my relative lack of bike knowledge. I am interested in saving money so wanted to do lots of the work myself - he was more than happy to offer advice and direction as I honed my bike mechanic skills. Always looking for the most affordable way to get you rolling, if that is what you are looking for.
Duke and his crew are such an awesome part of this city. So much knowledge, and its always a great vibe in the shop. Really hard to find a better wrench in Bham.
Best shop in town for service.
Duke is very knowledgeable and always professional! He has helped us out of a jam on the fly several times. He has also replaced many different components on our bikes and always in a timely manner. We have found that in regards to Duke and bicycles there is no problem too big or too small.
Very good service, I love Duke and his whole crew. They really know their stuff and they get it done quickly. Great rates on parts and service and their fixes tend to stay fixed. Best bike shop in town.
Really nice bike shop!
These guys rock. They go above and beyond typical mechanics. I was trying to build a bike with my son and they helped me get all the right parts (was an older bike) and advice specific to what he needed. Heck, they even stayed late to help ya get it on the road that day! They have plenty of parts stocked and top notch.
Super accommodating. Checked the bike out despite being scheduled out. Solid recommendations, solid shop. Yeti dealer.
Only shop around to have the parts I needed. Saved my weekend.
The best shop and mechanic I have been to in the last 15 years.Consistently diagnoses bike problems that have stumped other bike shops. Also, Sunday and Monday are great days to try other bike shops.
Duke and the crew are awesome. My rebuilt suspension was done quickly and feels better than it did new. Thanks guys!
Excellent shop. Shop owner Duke is awesome. Loves to talk bikes and no pressure sales pitch. Best shop in Bellingham.
We had an unfortunate accident with our touring bikes - we are certainly not hard-core bikers, but the bikes falling off the back of the RV left us with a bike down. Not only did DUKE and the team get us going again - lickety split! they also were able to fix the other bikes for us - all within our budget! To say these guys are awesome is an understatement, these guys truly are passionate about what they do, but more importantly about customer service, these guys are #1. Duke - thanks so much for everything you did for us! We are extremely grateful for ensuring our long travels and visit to the Bellingham area was still completed with biking in your fab city!
Great shop with knowledgeable mechanics and good people. They treat you great whether you are a longtime rider or newbie rider.
Ready for winter riding🤩 Tuffy tire liners, new brake pads, gears checked and adjusted—excellent, friendly service. My go-to place❣️
Awesome little shop! The staff is incredibly helpful! Would highly recommend :)
Needed my bike tuned up for a race in a hurry, with only 4 days to do it. They made sure it was the first bike done on Friday, and it felt like I was riding a new bike on the race, it was dialed. The tune-up was around $108 which was a BARGIN considering the quality of service and attention to detail (even giving me advice on how to increase chain retention) and I will not be going anywhere else to get my bikes tuned up pre-race.
Great service. Good people.
Fantastic shop! They really care about quality and they completed all the work when promised for a reasonable price.
Duke was super helpful and responsive, definitely would recommend!
Good honest work, good honest people
The best in B town, absolutely will recommend to anyone who wants quality work done,on top of excellent customer service. Take your bikes to the best😊
I am extremely pleased with the level of service, communication and friendliness I received from Duke. He was upfront about the price, very knowledgeable, and emailed me updates regarding the progress since I was out of town on a business trip. He has definitely earned my repeat business.
Really friendly and knowledgeable folks, even with a casual cyclist like me .
Best in Bham. Super chill and down to earth. No inflated egos here, like Ive experienced at some other shops. Easily the best customer service Ive experienced, paired with great work. They just replaced my creaky CSU on my Rockshox Lyric for a great price, and now no more creak!
Suh dude. Super chill, great vibes. Awesome shop.
Duke is the man! He will only fix what is broken, hes super friendly, fast and a true biker. Best service around for sure.
By far the best shop in town. Fast, reliable, and does amazing work. I have been a fan of Dukes since he worked at DNZ and I wont take my bikes to anyone else in town. My biggest thing is knowing your work is going to be done well and done thoroughly. When Im flying down a trail, through trees and rocks, I shouldnt have to worry if the mechanic at the shop I brought my bike to didnt torque my rear shock bolts down after changing my bushings... cough... Fanatik... cough. There is exactly one person working on bikes and you know you can trust his work. In addition to the good workmanship the customer service is always top notch. Duke will always take the time to answer any questions you have and give good relevant explanations with options, not just to replace and/or upgrade. He looks out for whats best for his customers not whats best for his profits. No questions about it this is where you should bring your business. Oh yea, and he works magic on avid/sram brakes!
Duke has done everything from the spandex-clad road scene to DH. Fair prices, laid back, and about as knowledgeable as anyone out there.
Very helpful and knowledgeable about bikes. Genuinely cares about his customers.
Wow, just wow. Excellent and fast service, but my favorite part was that Duke took the time to talk to me about the Sondors eBike I brought to him for assembly. I just found my new bike mechanic!
I had a flat tire 5 minutes away from the shop but it was close to closing time. They fixed me up in no time and with no fuss. Thanks for coming to my rescue. I will be back!
Super friendly, professional, well stocked for tires, pumps, parts, etc.
Friendly, knowledgeable, fair, and quality workmanship. Highly recommend Duke.
Best mechanic in town, looking out for you not $. Wont go anywhere else. Support small local business.
Been there a few times, always amazing service and support. When I need to get assistance with ANYTHING bike related, Alleycat is the place to go.
The only bike shop in bellingham, in my opinion..
