I had the best day of self care with Crystal. She did a wonderful job on my color, cut and Brazilian blowout. It was by far the best dye job I have ever received. She definitely knows what she is doing. And was a cheerful and kind person to spend the day chatting with in a salon. The salon itself is adorable, clean and has friendly staff. Overall, this was a great experience. I look forward to doing it again in a couple of months.

Loved working with April for my much needed post covid cut. I had not had a hair cut in two years (besides the hack job I gave myself, of course). She was so efficient, kind, and personable. Loved getting my hair washed, scalp massage, a cut and blow out! Looked amazing 🤩🤩

Its taken me years to find another stylist that I was genuinely happy with and I finally found April and Salon Bellissima. April really took time to listen to my back story and come up with a hair style that works for my face and hair type. She is so incredibly patient and fun to work with! Clearly talented and experienced too. All the staff there were really nice too! The environment is down to earth and fun, so its easy to feel comfortable and relaxed. Also a very gorgeous salon that is environmentally friendly. Will 100% be a repeat customer with April and they carry the brand of hair products I like. Win win. I don’t normally write reviews for hair salons or stylists but I loved my experience here so much they deserve all the stars. The women at this salon were not only super talented but kind and compassionate too. I’m new to the area and mentioned I was having a hard mental health time and they spent my appointment sharing their favorite things about Bellingham and that it’s okay to have bad mental health days. Good stylists are hard to find but good stylists that are also good people are harder to find. We all deserve to be pampered by the best. I couldn’t recommend this place more! April did my hair but I think they are all talented and worth booking. Thanks for making my day brighter!

I went to this Salon for a hair cut that was super different to what I usually would have gotten because of good past experiences with them. April gave me the “Jennifer Anniston” haircut and after going home I realized it didn’t really suit me and I didn’t love it on me. A couple of weeks later I went back to April for some adjustments and came home LOVING my hair. April was so understanding and made sure that I knew that she always wants people to feel free to come back if they aren’t in love with their hair. Highly recommend!

I would recommend April 100%. I hadnt been to a salon in over 10 years because of my anxiety around my alopecia. I wear wigs and didnt have much hope for a cute cut for my bio hair, but I was ready to go short and Aprils bio mentioned she specializes in short cuts. She was kind, she gave me a cut that totally suits my face, and honestly, she made my hair look way thicker and super stylish! She also never made me feel like something was wrong with me or that she was surprised by my hair loss. I appreciate you so much April and Ill be back to see you again for sure.

I love the products and services provided by this salon! Crystal always gives me a wonderful cut and foil color. Despite bleaching my very thin hair for years, my hair feels healthy thanks to the care that Crystal takes and the Olaplex treatment they provide and the Davines and Olaplex products they recommend.

I had an appointment scheduled 3 weeks out. I worked late all week to make my appointment at the end of the week. I showed up and they said my name wasn’t written down because their receptionist messed up and they would call me by end of day to figure something out. I never received a call. How unprofessional, insensitive and inconsiderate of a client’s time and emotions. It’s just hair, but when you haven’t had your hair done in 4 months and everywhere else is booked far out due to the quarantine and you depend on the appointment you were told you had - I can’t believe a business would treat someone that way, disappointing. Also, my wedding was cancelled due to Covid. So maybe you should consider what other people are going through before you treat them so poorly.

I wish I could give zero or negative stars.So this is something that happened about a year and half ago, but I never left a review and I should have.I came in on birthday to get my VERY long hair dyed. AND THE GIRL BURNED MY HAIR OFF!!!!So much so, that she had to cut it short so it would be less noticeable, but it still was. the back of my head was the worst spot and it was so fried that I had to wear what little hair I had left up for a year.I am STILL trying to grow my long hair back. It is just now an even length after a year and a half and still only a little past my shoulders.THEN not only did she burn my hair off, BUT I HAD TO PAY FOR IT. I paid her to burn my hair off...... and I have had to spend an enormous amount of money on products since then as well.DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I am extremely happy with my experience at Salon Bellissima - the entire staff is extremely friendly and Chelsea was amazing. I have very thick difficult to work with hair and she gave me a beautiful cut that I love. She took the time to style it for me, as well as little extras like thinning. I will definitely be coming back!

I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of services at Salon Bellissima. Trying a new salon can be a little scary, but everyone there went to great lengths (ha) to welcome me, put me at ease and answer questions. Ellie spent over a half hour making sure that she and I were of like mind and that she was doing exactly what I wanted - she even spent time mixing and showing me colors in advance. The result was a cut and color that far exceeded my expectations! I really appreciate the balance between giving me what I want and sharing advice when I ask.Bellissima is also a leader in environmental standards and everything from their lighting to recycling to their cruelty-free products reflects that stance. Im over the moon to find a salon that I can get behind for the planet and my own style and they have my business and gratitude.

Anna did my hair for my wedding as well as my bridesmaids hair and she was amazing! She was so accommodating and easy to work with. Ellie smith is the best. You need to make an appointment asap! Good luck getting in within a week or two she gets booked quick. I tip her 25% so she calls me when there is a canceled appointment. Which rarely happen.

Shana is the best colorist around, she blends my color beautifully and keeps the grey away, while giving my hair depth, dimension, and shine!

I go here frequently with my daughter for haircuts and they always do a fantastic job. The ladies are all super friendly and they can get you in and out quickly. They promise that if you dont like something about your cut you can come back and they will fix it for free. Will be going here again!

This was the best haircut experience Ive ever had, seriously! Im not a very hair-literate person so I was nervous going in and having to try to explain what I wanted. The stylist Ellie cut my hair and she read into exactly what I wanted and did it perfectly. She was also really easy to talk to, which was really helpful and put me at ease! I would recommend this salon to eeeveryone!

Loved it here! So glad I tried it out. Haley gave me my favorite haircut in a long time and I felt like she really knew what would work well for me and wasnt afraid to give me her input. Kept to water because i was starving after the gym, but they offer complimentary coffee, tea, beer, and wine. Price was quite reasonable.

Abby is absolutely amazing, She is a VERY talented hairstylest. She listens to what you want and does a beautiful job. The salon is gorgoues, clean and fun. I love that I can shop for clothes while waiting and have a cold beer while getting my hair done. Perfect way for a mom of four to relax.

I enjoyed being a client at this salon for a year. I found my hairstylist here and she’s the best! However, she moved to a new salon (to which I am following her). I had an appointment at Salon Belissima, but received a text message from my stylist the morning of saying that she no longer was working there. After corresponding with her, I patiently awaited a call from Belissima to hear from them that they would either try putting me with another stylist or maybe attempt to keep me as a client. Well, an hour before my “appointment” I had not heard anything from Belissima. I had to call and let them know that I would not be coming in that day and would be following my stylist to her new salon. I was shocked that the salon did not bother to let me know the morning of my appointment that I no longer had an appointment! Very unprofessional. Belissima handled the situation very poorly, and when I called to let them know I would not be coming in, the person on the phone said that I “did the right thing” by notifying them. They obviously do not care about keeping their clientele. I won’t even go into the circumstances in which my stylist left, but also, beyond unprofessional management.I had also given them a deposit for my bridal hair to be done this summer which both my stylist and myself requested be refunded. Rightfully, they agreed to return my money, however, a full week later they still had not. I had to call twice, and then go to the salon to pick up cash. The owner of Belissima did not seem to care about who I was when I went to pick it up and barely recalled our phone conversation. Seeming careless and not present in her role as salon owner is an understatement. I’m quite glad to be leaving this salon now that I have seen how it is managed.

UPDATE! JULY 2021- Due to some changes in my life I wasnt at Bellisma for 3 years. I just went to Chelsea in July 2021. In my entire adult life I have never had such a great job on my color - foils. She did EXACTLY what I hoped - and better! I cant say enough good about her, but to say I booked my next apt on the spot, and would tell ANYONE to ask for her!. But please dont, I dont want to lose my spot in her crowded agenda! :-))I had a great experience at this Salon. The staff was really friendly and my stylist was professional and relatable. There are 10 tables and lots of room. They carry an Italian line of sustainable products and I was told they were chosen because of the quality of natural ingredients, the emphasis on global sustainability and the size of the company. My color and texture of my hair was great! Oh, they carry a small line of beautifully styled and slightly romantic causal clothes at a price you can most likely afford. I really appreciated the price point that allowed me to get service, but a hair mask, and pick up something lovely to wear. Thanks Bellisima!

Anna and Nicci did hair and Sofia did makeup for my wedding on Aug 22nd and they were amazing! My hair was absolutely beautiful thanks to Anna and the bridesmaids were gorgeous as well thanks to Nicci. They listened to what I wanted and made sure that I was happy about the outcome each step of the way. I definitely recommend like most people to do the trial run so that they know what you are looking for on your big day. Sofia made me look like myself but brighter. The makeup wasnt too thick but it was great coverage for the day. The photographers even commented on how great the makeup was for the photos. I told her I wanted a natural look but with color on my eyes which she did flawlessly. All three of them were so much fun to have in the bridal suite that day and I would recommend them 100%.
