I would not recommend ordering anything from Grizzly. After three missed curbside delivery appointments and roughly 10 phone calls to Grizzly’s customer service over a three-week period, I had still not received my jointer, nor had I been contacted by the shipping company for a possible 4th delivery appointment, nor was Grizzly able to offer any solution to the problem. I had to first dispute the transaction with my credit card to make any progress and eventually get the jointer. After it was finally delivered, when Grizzly contacted me to close the support case, they offered no apology nor any other means to rectify this terrible customer experience.I will take my business elsewhere in the future.
Cool place. Big selection. I had a fairly niche issue with a table saw and while they were very nice, I felt they were of the mind that its just better to buy something new rather than try to modify an old machine. That may be true, but I was hoping I could pick someones brain a little more. Incredible selection. Like seriously the store is full of stuff you would usually have to buy online. The prices are a little confusing some stuff is cheaper than even Harbor Freight and other items are more expensive than Lowes but if you need anything for woodworking I would say they are 98% likely to have what you need. Great if you dont want to wait. I like hardware sales a lot but this place just has so so much more wood working stuff. I will be back for sure.
Great place to visit and buy items and get answers..
I tell you what. I bought a large floor model drill press. The thing even on slow speed shakes badly. Seems one or more pulley are off center? Terrible. Then the hand wheel to lower the bit the soft plastic knobs just break right off so you have to grip a threaded rod which isnt too comfortable! The handles for tabe adjust are as bad.Very poorly made products. China can make good tools but Grizzly is definitely not it!
Ordered a drill press and another large piece of equipment. The 300-pound plus, disassembled drill press was shipped in a cardboard box and predictably arrived damaged, in many pieces with a couple bits of cardboard box for good measure—no idea if I even got all the parts. Took pictures and contacted them right away. CS rep then called and left a ranting, long voicemail about how it’s my fault and it causes them problems—the voicemail cut her off mid-rant once the message recording hit max. Well, ok, all I did was give you my money. You chose the box and the Tossit-Fuggit Freight Company. I have many choices when it comes to made-in-China machine tools. Grizzly shall not be amongst them.
Awesome staff amazing store. They always have something I want in the clearance isle. Scored some good stuff there today. Bring your mask and your good to go.
So I ordered the grizzly 9-inch bandsaw during the Black Friday Sales Event 11/28, my order shipped 12/1 and was delivered 12/3 I did not open the package until 12/20 I noticed the upper cowling had a lot of metal shavings and I was disappointed that they could not simply wipe that out as part of their QC process. The chip blower did not work the chip blower attachment nozzle was broken and the LED light did not work. I called and complained ask for a new saw. They said okay they would take care of it. That they would send me a return method. A week went by and I had not had any correspondence so I called again 1228 and they said they had my parts ready to ship to me I told them I was not interested in rebuilding a brand new saw that should be functioning in the first place and I needed to replace the saw they said that they would send me a way to do so they finally did and I returned the saw. Now Im still waiting on my saw and still waiting for them to reply to one of my many emails that they continue to ignore

Since it is a corporate headquarters it has stock!Cramped showroom but you can see there Griizzy products as well as others . Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. And in this day seeing them with masks on and willing to GIVE you one made me feel safe enough to use the bathroom!
I bought a 14 x 40 lathe from Grizzly. Major Casting FLAW.Grizzly did not want to do anything about it.Bought a Grizzly table saw. Just a pile of junk. Gave it away.I will be going to Precision Mathews for a Mill. Pay a little more get alot more and better service. Live and learn.
First, Ill say that I tried to post a review on the Grizzly website, but it was never posted. I guess they didnt like what I had to say. I purchased the G0925 8 Benchtop Baby Drill Press online back in mid May. It took two weeks before the order was even processed. Interestingly, the invoice that I received stated that I placed my order on May, 29 with a shipping date of June 1. Not true. That being said, once shipped, I received the order fairly quickly and in good condition. When I went to assemble the press, I discovered that the red chuck guard that surrounds the chuck and appears in the pictures, is not an option. The chuck guard also holds the depth gauge. It replaced the Depth Stop Bracket. Not wanting to fight with the plastic shield, I contacted Grizzly Tech support. It should be called Grizzly No Support. The people that I spoke to claimed that the part that I wanted to order, the Depth Stop Bracket, was no longer being produced and was replaced by the red Chuck Guard. When I asked about contacting the manufacturer myself, they claimed ignorance, that Grizzly is simply a reseller of the tools. I told the tech that I did not want to keep the drill press if that chuck guard had to stay in place, as it would be in the way. He offered to give me an RMA (return merchandise authorization), but I would have to pay shipping. When I argued the point, he stated that he would refer the matter to a manager. After waiting all day for a phone call from Grizzly, I called back, and was told that I would be getting a call from a manager directly. Figuring that I was going to end up stuck with this drill press, I began to look for a solution. I discovered that the Wen 4208 and the Grizzly G0925 are identical, other than the color and the Wen has no chuck guard. I went to the Wen website and looked for replacement parts. I found this item: [4208C-040AS] Quill Collar with Nut and Screw for WEN 4208 (Model C), which I purchased for $4.95 plus $3.18 shipping directly from Wen. Their customer service rep was great and knowledgeable. I finally received a call from a manager three days later, I told him that I had found a possible solution to the chuck guard problem, but if it did not work, I would call Grizzly again. I finally received the part from Wen, and lo and behold, an exact fit. I know that the chuck guard was probably mandated because somebody didnt wear eye protection, or caught a finger with a bit, but it is a royal pain. Work safe and smart and you dont really need it. In my case it would have been more dangerous to have it than not. So to summarize: I paid $89.95 for the G0925, $15.99 shipping, $5.14 sales tax, less $8.99 for a coupon that I had. That totals $102.09. Add to that $8.13 for the Wen Quill Collar, and I am into this drill press for $110.22. Had I been smart, I would have purchased the Wen 4208 from Amazon for $85.98 (todays price) plus tax with free two day shipping and free returns. Bottom line, dont pay extra for the name on the tool, especially if the company doesnt stand behind it. UPDATE 10/27/20: I sold the Grizzly 8 inch drill press a month after I received it and bought a Wen 12 inch variable speed drill press. Very happy now!
Smooth transaction. Very safe and staff was very helpful. Excited for the new equipment.
Not enough knowledgable staff. You best know what you are after and what you need when you get there. Big box store mentality with sales.I find it difficult to contribute to a bad attitude behind the counter that has no time to help customers. Its not the customers fault that you are only one person in the store. Im the only one here, everyone else is at lunch. We are short because its FridaySorry for inconveniencing you.SMH.
Very good in store customer service. I often stop in and ask questions regarding my grizzly tools Ive purchased over the last 15 years. My table saw still runs as well as the day I bought it and I use it several times a week for production work. They have been very helpful in recommending band saw blades. I like that they will take the time to help each customer with whatever woodworking challenge hes facing.
The way this company handled the people who were injured by their Grizzly 10 Hybrid Table Saw, Model G0771, is just awful. Its one thing for a company to manufacture a defective product. Its reasonable to expect that, despite what are hoped to be best efforts to make a product safe, components will break and injuries will result. People that were injured sustained their injuries because a motor pulley came loose, hit the table saw blade, and caused the saw blades teeth to break off and become flying metal projectiles; posing a risk of laceration or impact injury. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission gave notice of Grizzly Industrial recalling that model on August 15, 2015. The correspondence that transpired between injured consumers and a technical and quality manager was both saddening and capable of provoking feelings of anger towards the company. Though never stated directly, the tone was certainly that the injured consumers were being quite an unwanted burden. Of course injured consumers are a burden! However, their injuries are a burden to them too. Moreover, dealing with anyone injured by a defective is the responsibility of that company. Call is part of the cost for the profits made from those very consumers that were contacting you because a piece of metal flew in their face and ripped part of their nose off. Hopefully, things have changed around there in the past years.
Low quality chinese tools and horrible customer service. I stopped purchasing from them around 7 years ago due to constant problems with both the products and customer service. Decided to give them a try recently and nothing but a nightmare. Guess this is why they closed the Pa. Location and are constantly hiring. Must not treat employees any better then they do the customers.
First time in here. Had to leave quickly, or I would never leave!
Fantastic service. Very helpful staff!
I just called to order a chop saw for my husband, I was informed it couldnt be shipped to my house because I couldnt receive freight, but that they wouldnt ship it to there own store in Bellingham for me to pick up because it could get damaged in transit. So I asked how exactly I was supposed to order from them, the response I got was I guess you cant, have a great day definitely the least helpful customer service I have had.
These people make fine tools, but the ordering system is all messed up. I have never had such a bad time getting an order picked up. Have been on the phone with them for hours now...
I recently had some issues with one of the motors on my mill. Grizzly Tools provided me with above and beyond great service to fix the Issue!! its rare to have a company go out of there way, like how theses guys did!, thank you!!
Very Disappointed with the level of customer service received. If I could give them a 0 star I would.Ordered new table saw 1/17/19. UPS, the shipping company for Grizzly, botched the shipping service by giving incorrect ship dates which I had to be on site for delivery and no delivery happened then product was damaged with shipment. I contacted Grizzly customer service to report damage, sent pictures and received activity number for my claim. No one from grizzly followed up with a phone call, they shipped a part that was incorrect. I submitted another claim, submitted pictures a second time and received another activity number and again no follow up call, called back two days later to follow up my self, they requested I resend the pictures which I did, received yet again another activity number and again no follow up from grizzly, called again two days later and there still was no activity to process my claim. Customer service told me they would send a UPS return slip in 2 - 3 business days, I need to box up damage parts, send back to grizzly and once they receive the parts they will resend the damaged parts from the original shipment 3 weeks ago. I have a $900 saw I purchased almost a month ago, paid $153 to have shipped in which the shipping process was botched and my product damaged and have got the run around from the company who sold me the product and processed my payment. Seems once they get paid youre at their mercy.
Just received my new lathe from Grizzly. Came as a bunch of junk in a broken box. Second bad shipment from them. Also ordered a lathe 3 months ago and it was going to be 2 weeks. Still nothing and nothing from Grizzly..In a nut shell poor service poor product and I just work here.Save the frustration and time.. Find it somewhere elese
I bought a Shop Fox M1049 Metal Lathe and brand new out the box it had defects.. Called Grizzly Company for 3 days to get it resolved and there is NO Customer Support. DO NOT BUY GRIZZLY PRODUCTS NO SUPPORT
I have no doubt the equipment is of high quality, however the customer service department needs a complete overhaul. My purchase - a simple 1 HP dust collector - was back ordered an additional 2 months and I was never notified! I called today to purchase a 17 band saw and check on the delivery of my dust collector (due about now). Grizzs response was essentially, Well, you can sign up and we can call you if the dust collector is pushed back even further
My shop is full of Grizzly tools. Probably the best value out there... some of the stuff can be a little Harbor Freight-ish (mostly the lesser priced stuff like brad nailers) but by and large tough to go wrong here. Nice showroom if youre in the area. Customer service has been okay from my end, but not always the speediest.
Good tool selection. Some lower cost products are re-branded generics. Check out their garage sale in May.
Nice selection of equipment, helpful staff. Well worth a visit
So much inventory! Friendly helpful staff. Awesome catalog.
Helpful staff knowledgeable answers to all questions asked.
Nice display of their wares. Decent quality.
A treasure box of quality tools, backed by terrific service.
Worst customer experience I have ever dealt with. Jim morrow would get a 0 if you had it
I recently purchased a Grizzly 10 3hp 220v cabinet table saw for $1500.00 through Grizzlys website. For shipment they use UPS freight, which I paid $150 to be delivered to my place of residence. I get a call from UPS to set up an appointment date for delivery so I will be here when my package arrives. I make arrangements, take off work, and on THE DAY its suppose to be here, which is 5 days after I have made the appointment, I get a call around noon, saying there is no room on the truck to make the delivery. Well this is a problem, being that I am not going to be able to get another day off work for this. I immediately call Grizzly to let them know the situation and that I will have to find a way to pick this item up myself and asked to see what they can do about my shipping charges. The supervisor let me know they will work on getting me a refund. Now this package weighs around 500 lbs.. not something I can do alone. I had to call a couple guys, pay for a rental truck, and spend 5 hours out of all our days to get this done. Very frustrating.. Grizzly calls me and tells me they will not refund any shipping but will send me a $25 gift card..That the shipping day is not promised. So why did I bother to make an appointment? I understand the problem was with UPS and not Grizzly, but that is something that they should have resolved. I am actually really surprised on how little they were willing to help me out. This is the first time I have ever had to write a bad review. So in the end I am out a days work, $150 in shipping, $60 in rental, and hours of running around to get this done. In return i get a $25 gift certificate. I needed more equipment to finish my set up, but I will NEVER go through them again. I hope in the future they will have better customer service.
I went to Grizzly showroom on the 1st of Aug. 2018. Walked up to the woman behind the counter and wanted to ask about a tool that they had on display. She listened to my request and when she did not have an answer to my question looked behind me for the next person in line.I have spent thousands of dollars at Grizzly Showroom in Bellingham and after being treated in such a rude way I will now be shopping else where. The photographer for Grizzly was more helpful then the counter person. bummer. I used to look forward to visits to this store and I will now not go there anymore. Thanks for the memories and I will also tell my friends to not go there either.Tried to send an email on the 2nd of Aug and got a return mail notice. once again not what i expected.
Tools and customer service are excellent. So luck to have this resource close and available.
A person could get in trouble pretty quick in there. To many toys
Really great place for tools. I was like a kid in a candy store
I purchased a scratch / dent milling mac. it had a noise in the head. I asked about this and was told it would ware in and quit, almost 4 years of infrequent use its much worse ! I have worked through the tech line in PA, they really were polite, tried my home state MO. they could give a S---- . now I know there must be a REPAIR manual some where I could buy or a zerox of the head . Im told no such manual exists.. well how do you work on them???? this is a G1016 mill. ID hope someone could help I would not buy such an expensive toy from then again, cant afford $3400.00 toys that cant be fixed. nope I cant pick up 2500lbs.to take it in .
Clean, bright, well stocked woodworking bliss!
Nice for tool aficianados! They need to be open on Saturday...
Great products and great staff!
Great show floor and helpful stafg
Lots of tools. Expensive. Same bostich 18 ga flooring stapler is $40 less at Lowes 3 miles away. If you can find it somewhere else it will always be cheaper. That said large clean open showroom very large selection of tools.

Huge showroom, like a kid in a candy store.
Grizzly has the worst customer service, they shipped a product that was canceled 2 months ago. I have yet to receive the product due to shipping issues after Optioning to accept the order due to no shipping refund will be issued on grizzlys behalf. After I receive this product I am not buying from grizzly again.
