Stopped for just a few necessities. But seen their special hamburgers and had to get some.We had a little issue with the computer system but the lady at the customer service desk went far above helpful. She had pity for us and our situation and took her own card to help us even though we didnt ask. I was floored with surprise and armament. The kindness and friendliness plus the helpfulness of the lady was extremely amazing! You just dont see this kind of goodness much these days.Additionally, she said she wanted us to come back to HyVee not holding the store in bad light because of a computer issue. Therefore, she is extremely special using her own card to help up and wanted us to be thankful so we would return to the store.I find this lady extremely amazing to show how much she cares for people she serves at the store and for the place she is employed!So we had a very good visit 😊

We got our Covid Vaccines here at the pharmacy. Staff was very nice. Store was clean. The bakery is awesome too. Full service place for cakes, balloons and cards.

The wine and spirits side are top notch. They are always in stock and keep the place looking great. The staff here are super friendly. I have been going here for over a decade now and am still impressed with their prices and service.

Used grocery pick up - service was quick & easy. Workers were polite & very nice. Definitely better than the big corporate store in the next town over.

Store is always clean, the staff is very helpful, and friendly . They have fresh produce with a pretty good selection. Their bakery is the best! The cake is always perfect I suggest the whipped icing ! And their Meat Department is great ! I love The chicken grillers. My favorite part is they are open till midnight!

Deli Meat is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. The Bakery is my favorite for both donuts and cake. Its bright, clean, and arranged in an orderly fashion.

They had Ancho chili powder in stock. Make my bison chili from scratch and I use Ancho chili powderAlso took advantage of their electric charging station to charge up my car a little bit while I was out shopping

This newly remodeled store was updated and then some. Still working some bugs out with the new layout, but overall its way better than the competition to either side of 71 highway.

Nice grocery store. Just wish they wouldn’t let the local druggies hang out in the vestibule/cart area. Makes the customers feel uncomfortable.

Very Good gluten free section with sales on various items frequently. Staff is very nice and helpful.A little more expensive then price chopper and walmart but has a bigger and nicer selection. Meat department is the best in the area.

Stay away from the meat department. When their chicken and pork start to get old and change color they coat it with s bbq seasoning called misty’s and lower the price a little. Sometimes it smells bad. The store appears to be clean but sometimes has a foul odor that they can’t get rid of. Once, during nascar season they partnered with a local tire and rim shop and brought tuns of tires into the fresh vegetable area and there was a very strong odor of rubber. Anything for money.

The Belton Hy-Vee has the best meat products. When we are going to BBQ, we always get our meat there and know the quality will be excelent.

UPDATE: HyVee did apologize and make it right and corrected the problem. Ive been there a couple of times since and have had no issues.The original problem:I Was not very pleased. nobody greeted me and no one offered to help me find anything. When I did find what I was looking for which was the breakfast bowls just crack an egg, it was expired. Not only was it expired it was expired for more than a month and it wasnt just one of them there were a lot of them! I looked at alot of them and there were three rows stacked and I kept finding ones that were expired. Im very disgusted.

We usually get our groceries here or Hen house. My 2 boys love the free cookies at Hyvee for the kids while I shop. This morning when we arrived to do our grocery shopping we went to get the free cookies and the baker lady in the back was extremely rude with the dirtiest look when we asked for one. The other young lady working went to get the boys the cookie where they usually are. But the rude lady in the back said they dont do that anymore! And told the young lady No when she tried to get them for us. She was rude to her coworkers and rude to us. I dont know what was with the attitude, but it wasnt necessary!

We ordered a lot of food from hy-vee catering at 87th street in lenexa. We know people make mistakes but they wrote the wrong date down. Needless to say we were very frustrated when our food wasnt delivered on time. We had to wait 2 hours. They did apologize & credited us money back.

The store is newly remodeled and I for one enjoyed the new look. The gray slate floor is so much better on my arthritic knees. And most employees are eager to drop what they may be doing to help.

Store was clean, shelves were mostly stocked. They were out of hamburger meat except for in the $20 tubes. I feel like they didnt have a good selection of packaged meat, but there was plenty to choose from in the fresh cuts case. I also couldnt find the ricotta cheese. But the check out lines were short and the customer service from the employee at the self checkout was exceptional.

This is the first store I went in to today needing to pick up a prescription and a few other items. I located the waterpik I wanted for $39. The item came with 2 replacement tips. Since I wanted to have three more tips for other family members to use I spent 10 minutes looking through all the other individual pieces and none of them were what I needed so I then stood at the Pharmacy counter for a out 6-7 more minutes before asked if they could help me. I explained my dilemma and went back to the isle I had just spent the previous time looking for only to have this Pharmacy clerk look for about 5 more minutes and then tell me she did not know but she would have to call Jennifer. By now all I wanted to do was pay for the other items I had in my basket. Afterall if it was going to be this difficult to obtain replacement tips I really did not want the item. After another 5 minute wait Jennifer showed up only to leave to ask someone else. Finally got the answer..they do not carry the replacement tips in the store but I could order on-line. Not the help I was hoping for.

The remodel work is getting a final detailed comb thru so to say. Items are finding their forever homes. The flooring looks great. However one order had to be cancelled due to the product requested was out of stock.Current shopping items available in individual store and current online listing would be so very. helpful .

Hy Vee is a good store. I can get most everythimg I need or want there.

Love the self check out vs the slow as hell antiquated check out lines. They just need to update the software more so every 3rd scan is not an error message and requires bloody assistance. Complete machine artificial intelligence stores are the way to go, less store employees the better, we need more highly advanced bio recognition software to completely make stores automated.

My go to grocery store! Best deli, best bakery, best butcher, best customer service, always clean, always well stocked. And, get this, if they dont carry something, THEYLL ORDER IT FOR YOU.

Our HyVee just completed a remodel and I must say it looks really nice. I definitely like there meat and seafood area. Definitely a great shopping experience.

Temporarily having to use the on line shopping and delivery. They did a great job with it except for one item that was missing. But the staff did an excellent job and quickly rectified the problem. Big shout out to Pam who handled it.

I like shopping at Hyvee. The aisles are marked to easily find what you need. The staff are friendly and helpful. The meat department will slice a whole pork loin if you ask them. The new remodel has made the store look new and fresh.

The only complaint I have is that all of the electric carts for shoppers with mobility issues are at one end of the store and that happens to be the end that they lock at 10:00 at night. So if a shopper with mobility issues comes in between 10:00 and when they close at midnight, that shopper either had to walk through the store or wait on somebody to go get one of the carts. Otherwise, its a great store.

Bakery was disappointing. The top layer of the cake we ordered slid off the bottom, the writing on the cake looked like a 1st grader wrote it. And frosting was half cream cheese half regular. We have ordered from other hyvee bakeries and were always please. Now the young man helping at self checkout was super nice and helpful. Especially when i was covered in frosting bc the cupcakes were a mess.

Helpful staff. Decent organic selection. No organic ice cream though 😕

I had a cake emergency, ordered a cake from DQ, but apparently their cake decorator had not been in in over a week, and they decided not to call people and tell them proactively, but instead tell them as they were picking up their orders. Needless to say, I was in a bad mood. I ran over to Hy-vee and the selection was pretty limited, especially in the size is needed... I noticed 2 cakes behind the glad still waiting to be finished, when the girl working was done helping the customers before me she came over, somewhat exasperated asking me how she could help me. I explained the situation, and inquired if either Id the cakes behind the glass were spoken for, she kind of gave me attitude for the next few sentences but apologized and calmed down... i got one of the cakes behind the counter and the day was saved. However, Im giving three stars because of the attitude that was kind of unwarranted. no matter how your day is going, never take it out on the customer...

Great floral shop. I was able to get my mom some beautiful flowers for mothers day. I was also able to get my teenager a covid vaccination here. This is a great location.

This is my regular grocery store. Their produce selection is excellent and they have a good variety of vegetarian and vegan items.

They were cooking out in front of the store and were nice enough to cook some frozen burger patties Id just bought so I didnt have to fire up my grill on a sweltering day. Wonderful people there!

Short staffed v no supervisors, only checkouts were self checkout which was not working correctly and no one to help. Switched to Price Chopper... dependable service, plenty of staff.

Not really happy with the new setup for Vegan/health food. It needs to be better advertised. They have the best selection for vegan food over and above any supermarket, now its hard to determine which area of the store to search since the remodeling. I thought the area would be more eye appealing, its not. Still the best vegan store ever. Better than Whole Foods.

Hy-Vee has good prices on products. They have a good assortment of deli items, great selection of normal grocery items, good selection of ethnic foods, and an awesome meat department that will cut meat custom for you upon request. Top it off with free charging of your electric vehicle while you shop here, heck.....this place blows W.mart out of the water for me!

Great produce everytime,. Just one negative thing. I was totally ignored in the bakery by about 3 people, even after eye contact. Turned out alright I probably didnt NEED anything was just walking by and all the treats looked yummy.

The day before mothers day was ridiculously crazy everywhere. But out of 5 places I had to go to that evening all of the employees were amazing, friendly, and helpful as always. Wish I could say that about everywhere else.

The deli/butcher section is great, they have thicker cuts of meat, fresh sea food and all of the normal things youd expect to find at the grocery store. The variety of selections were above average in my opinion.

Purchased a plant to take to a Memorial Service. They have beautiful flowers and live plants, but they are pricey.Belton Hy-Vee recently remodeled. Today they were handing out maps to help us get around the remodelled store, which is really needed.

It was an excellent I some sirloin steaks and pork chops and other things that were on sale.

Decided to try again as we had not shopped in store since well before the pandemic. We are ok with things like selection and cleanliness. What drives us nuts is the crews stock the floor during prime times like today, Saturday at 2pm. In and of that itself it would not be the end of the world however they fill aisles with boxes on one side and carts on the opposite. They completely ignore you when you are trying to get through. In one visit we tyoically go down every single aisle and there were several times today we couldnt get down an aisle to look for what we wanted. It is quite simply poor training and/or management. Sackers have a history of having no spacial or weight awareness which I suspect is again, poor training. We tried again after giving up about 2 years ago and will just return to a competitor and this second chance revealed no change.

Huge rave to the staff at HyVee- completely forgot a few ingredients that were essential for our Thanksgiving dinner plans, so made the dreaded Thanksgiving-day-at-noon run. They were all in such a great moods (even if they were faking it), and beyond helpful. You can tell good management by the attitudes of your staff- great job everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!
