This location is inconsistent with their service. Granted it can not always be a great experience for a combination of reasons but my experience here over the past year has been a bit of a let down. The lines are long and move very slowly. Cars often are backed out to route one but when you drive around you can see a bottle neck happening between the ordering window and the pick up window. I assume this helps them game their timer on service but it is unsafe for the people on the main road.In addition to that, Ive been to this location on multiple occasions between 5-6 am and theres been no one in the store to provide service. Once, I brought it up and the cashier told me I was wrong, someone was here.The culture here is lacking and honestly I believe the store manager is responsible. Ive met her, shes hot and cold. Ive had my coffee spill right out of the cop directly onto me due to poor cups and an overall lack of concern from the cashier to confirm that the cup and top both are fitted properly.Overall, Saturdays are a no go. You can assure bad service and a long wait. Apparently, staffing is not a concern on weekends here.The final blow for me happened today, after a long wait 10 minute wait in line I approached the window for the cashier to tell me that there is no Pike Place Coffee.If youre asking, why dont you go inside? Take a trip to this location and you will find that there is no time difference between service speed inside and out.Overall, I just started going to the laurel location up the street and it has been a night and day difference in service. Im a long time customer of Starbucks and this is my first review ever. That being said, the service here SUCKS!

I always have a good experience when I visit this location which isnt often since I relocated but however Jordan made my last visit extra special for two reasons:1st My drink was made perfect.2ed She remembered my Dogs namewhich really surprise me and made me and my doggie feel special...(him)when she gave him that Puppuccino.

My son had an office online order that apparently got mixed up on Starbucks end. He arrived to pick up the order and every drink was incorrect. The employee decided to blast my son in front of the other customers and tell him it was stealing or that he was trying to “get over” on her! My son asked to speak to the manager and of course, the manager wasn’t there! The employee ripped off her apron and proceeded to yell and scream! The “supervisor “ was basically a yes man and did nothing to help the situation! Mind you, my son is black! Accusing a customer of stealing or getting over in front of others because of her mistake is unacceptable! Sorry Starbucks! You lost more customers! Hello, is the Dunkin’?

I just tried to come here and they randomly closed I guess. It was not clear. There is no reason for it or signage to point it out. I noticed a customer that walked up to the drive thru window to get his order so I stood behind him. The cashier handed him his order and I said excuse me just to see where I’m supposed to order and the cashier closed the door in my face and failed to acknowledge my presence. Another cashier came up and at that moment the other cashier returned and said we are closed that’s why I closed the door. A simple acknowledgment would have made sense and sorry we are closed randomly at 4:30 PM on a Monday would have been nice. Horrible customer service

Would have been five stars except that I mobile ordered to save time as I’m on break from work - they didn’t notice the ticket until I had arrived about five minutes later. All and a great Starbucks.

This is closest to my home so I go often before work and while I love the friendly attitudes they are so slow. If they don’t forget my entire order then every single time my mobile order is never ready when I get there and I order like 20 minutes in advance. I just want them to get better with that.

The drive through line was very busy when I went, but the barista who took our order was super friendly and chatted with me a little while I waited. Their positive attitude despite the fact that it was busy, it’s a holiday, and they are working during a pandemic is much appreciated and does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

I wanted to buy a drink and eat it in the store and they told me it wasnt allowed by the County. This isnt true, the County now allows 25% seating. So I went somewhere else nearby that was open for seating.

Very nice aesthetics. Very warm staff. Caring and fun. Perfect spot to sip and chat and study (when reopened). Lots of nice cups on sale. Drive thru was amazing through the pandemic. Always open and now the cafe is open for pick ups too. 💚🤍

My favorite Maryland Starbucks ✨ They are quick with orders (you may see a line but it moves REALLY FAST) and they are personable. They always ask about my day and how things are going. Super friendly staff.

I come to this store when I come down to visit and EVERY TIME my order is messed up. One example: I ordered a white mocha latte with no whip ans got a plain latte yup not even a drop of white mocha sauce with whip. Smh frustrating.

Staff put my coffee in a wrong size cup ( I ordered grande and they gave me a tall) and remade it with only 80% full in the new grande cup. I also told them I’m keeping the cup sleeve so that they don’t have to waste the old one on the wrong drink but they still put a new cup sleeve on the correct drink anyway....

I came to this Starbucks and they were very rude. I went to the drive thru 15 minutes before closing and they did not take my order and kept telling me that they cant take orders after 6pm. Which was not true cause they did. I dont know why I was targeted but I was very disappointed due to the service. I have in the past had very good service with any Starbucks I went to, but this is a big shock. Never have I though that I would be treated with such unfairness. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I never see such a long line to drive-thru in starbucks before, I think whoever is the manager here must be sleeping Saturday morning, hope they do something about, this is not starbucks service, at all. Total disappointed wait 30 minutes in line to end up leaving that place, disgusting.

Never had a bad experience at this location. Donald( at least I’m pretty sure that’s what his name was) took my order through drive thru and he was the nicest person I think I’ve ever encountered at 7 in the morning. Asking me if I have anything to look forward to this week ( I said no) and him saying he hopes that changes. Was the highlight of my morning.

My first time at this location was today, I ordered a grande Chai tea latte with almond milk and no water. What was in the cup was less than the amount in a tall drink. It was noticeable as soon as I grabbed the cup. Im not keen on giving back things and I cant see who is making it. Although the drink tasted fine, I will not return to this location.

My vanilla late was horrible taste and the grilled tomato mozzarella couldnt even find the mozzarella

This location is always quick and they have not gotten my order wrong yet. However the drive-through is horrible! Trying to just turn into the lot can be a challenge and dangerous depending on traffic flow.

While I was disappointed when they closed the KFC and replaced it with a Starbucks, this Starbucks store is one of my favorites. Initially the big draw was that they kept the drive-thru, but by far, their biggest strength is the hospitality. They have the best employees and always get my order right the first time.

The place is geat. I do schoolwork here most nights, enjoying the atmosphere and coffee while letting the traffic die down. My only complaint is the giant middle table boasts several plugs, none of which work. Its been a concern since they opened and hasnt been fixed yet. Otherwise the staff is amazing and always friendly and polite.

Its a cool location..but...all drinks need more consistency... I shop there twice a day in the morning and in the evening and its no reason why my one drink that I order is different from day-to-day and shift-to-shift

This use to be the best Starbucks in the area. The new crew is pretty much worthless. Lazy, rude, and unattentive.

A large store with plenty of seating and a very fresh interior. Friendly and quick staff. They had 4 staff working on a Saturday afternoon which was nice but uncommon these days.

Cons: some of their good spots outlets never work in spite of notifying them multiple times. Its been more than a year now.Pros: very spacious, open till 10 pm, satisfactory staffDear Starbucks, please fix the outlets!

When the dine-in option is closed, the only alternative for those not using a car is to literally walk through the drive through. Very inconvenient.

The employees are so friendly here. This is my favorite Starbucks.

Ordered two drinks through mobile order 15 minutes ahead and when I arrived at the store, the baristas told me that they didn’t receive the order. Eventually they finally did, but when I got my drink, the drink tasted very watery and bad. So I asked for another drink and still very watery. Never had this issue at other stores of Starbucks.

Not sure if its because theyre new, but this is, by far, the friendliest Starbucks Ive been to in the area. They always greet me with a smile. Also it seems that they know how to read body language (ex: when Im not in the mood to talk, theyll smile and keep it to the point; when Im in a good mood they make sure to get to know me and ask about my day or weekend plans etc.). I mention this because Ive had experiences at surrounding Starbucks where the staff seemed to push products or push conversation when it was visibly obvious I was not in a mood to converse, or theyve just been completely rude and ignored me so that they can get back to socializing with their co-workers (College Park Marketplace location).I love that they have a drive-thru. There is however, always a line in the morning (the store set-up in the parking lot is a bit small), but they try their best to get the line moving.My food and drinks always taste good. Starbucks is the only coffee that I ever drink, this is my third time that I came here to get coffee but I never get fresh and hot coffee and I heat the coffee which is not hot and fresh!!!

I stopped in with some friends for a breakfast sandwich and chai tea lattes. We thoroughly enjoyed the lattes. I dont normally like sandwiches from Starbucks; however, I must say I thoroughly the sausage egg and cheese muffin. It was warm and buttery tasting. It wasnt very busy at the time. The staff was very pleasant.

One of my newly favorite Starbucks to come too now. The staff are always happy and friendly. Never had a bad experience at this Starbucks, the drive thru team are very fast and my order is always accurate. My drinks are always the way I like them even though I can be very pickey about my drinks they are always on point.

It is rare to find a Starbucks where most, if not all, of the staff, is actually familiar with the corporate refill policy. They are also really friendly. They play good music, and I can always find a seat to work or study. My only criticism would be the sound system: depending on the song, the bass can be overwhelming if you sit in the back corner of the room.

I love visiting this store. Excellent customer service, fast and efficient service rendered. This is the best Starbucks ever in the neighborhood. Now, the Starbucks located in College Park in the shopping center with Shoppers Food Warehouse and the one located on Cherry Hill road have the worst service EVER! Those employees are very unprofessional, and extremely slow. They prefer to carry on personal conversations with each other instead of concentrating and assisting the customers in front of them. I tried my possible best to avoid both stores; however, sometimes if I can’t get to my favorite Starbucks store in Beltsville, I’m forced to. District managers for those worst store needs to take swift actions.

I never use the drive thru but it seems to cause a lot of service slowdowns.
