I received an amazing poster (shout out to @youenjoymyvegan) and wanted to frame it immediately. I was super excited when I saw Micheals had a sale going. I framed two posters. April was great assisting me through the whole process. She was never pushy or overbearing with her suggestions. She listened to what I was thinking, offered her advice and ultimately I decided the layout. Having my 14 year old daughter with a graphic/art eye give her opinion helped too.The second poster has been in a tube since 7/22/15. The frame of this one I feel pulls out the details in the black. April agreed this poster did not need a matte.

They had everything I was looking for, and Halloween is my favorite time of year, in our family we dont do smiling witches or toothless grinned ghosts we do scary decorations so we make our own. Hard to shop for pacific things in Michaels because you want to get two of everything. It continues to be my favorite place! Happy Halloween!

I love this store. Whenever I am in need of art supplies that I cant find anywhere else I will go into Michaels and they always seem to have what I need or are helpful enough to help me get what I need weather it b there or somewhere else. The staff is always super friendly n helpful when I have questions and always very knowledgeable. I once went in with a very odd request. On my last anniversary I wrote my late fiance a silly little love note in the gel pen section using every color of the single jelly roll gel pens. I had meant to take a picture but I forgot b4 we left. 1.5 months later I lost my fiance to a massive heart attack. I went into my local michaels in bend or where I wrote that note in hopes it would still be there but unfortunately it was not the same pad there. I stopped an employee to ask about if they kept the old ones n she was so sympathetic and tried her best to help me she checked in the back and with another employee even went as far as finding a manager to see if they could assist. To my dismay they dont keep the old scratch pads so the adventure was a loss. But it attests to the helpfulness of the staff going above n beyond to help a distraught deviatated customer.

I had been doing some research on sewing machines for my wife for a little while. I definitely wanted to get a Singer product. While waiting till the last minute for Christmas (typical guy stuff right! 😂) A couple places had run out of the model I wanted. I had looked online and of course there is no way Amazon could have gotten it here by Christmas. Definitely not there fault. Went into Michaels and they had not only a Singer sewing machine but the model HIGHER number than I was looking at on Amazon for the same price! Great store! One of my wifes favorite stores for sure! The people were extremely friendly and you could tell they were just spent from the Christmas season. Great location! Great people! 🙂

The employees are helpful and the layout of the store is fairly easy to maneuver thru. As with any store, they had competitive pricing and pricing that was a bit much. Big variety though of whatever hobby you might be into.

Nice place for arts and crafts. However, a lot of angry old women work there. I believe it was the supervisor who started conversations on the defense, thinking people where going to put up a fight or whatever, almost like she was hoping they would. Anyways, I like to go there for the supplies and yarn. Whatever you do, don’t make eye contact with this supervisor (wish I got her name) but it would definitely explain the anger I see with other employees. Looks like a toxic workplace with one supervisor who loves having control over the rest. When will businesses learn these types of people cannot be in supervising positions. This manager needs to be fired pronto! I hope she reads this!

Really good at telling people to buck up and pull their masks up. They also had an awesome selection of paints when I last went, and I was able to get some nice quality oil paint there. The employees are friendly if youre wearing a mask like you should C;

I have been shopping at Michaels for more than 14 years. It is always my go-to store for my cake decorating and different crafts. I am never disappointed. The quantity, quality and selections is always spot on. Any season is forever exciting. I love the coupons too. Give it a try. Youll love it

Go to craft store. However I feel Michaels has transitioned to more decorate your home store rather than just crafts. Selections are too small and prices are high but thats just how business are goi g these days. Staff is always friendly though, great people!

I always love me a trip to Michaels.. I do wish they would keep more paint in stock. It was almost gone. Not even able to order for pick up. Hopefully after these strange days it will be stocked up again.

I went in looking for something the other arts and crafts stores look at me like I was crazy when I asked for it. And the manager at Michaels walked up, asked how he could help and knew right where was at. It was awesome.

I will never step foot in this store again. The RUDE over bearing MANAGER, quickly came up to the person I was with and scolded her for her mask not covering her nose. There was no one around us, anywhere except for (THE MANAGER) being inches from us hmmmm so no 6 foot rule for her I guess??. Then as we were checking out the young cashier had a question from this manager, and was quickly scolded by this manager for not doing something right. The last time I had been in this store was right before Christmas and I had come in with my daughter. We had 10 or 15 minutes left before they had to close and made the announcement. We were scrambling for the last item, we could not find. We were now down to 5 minutes before closing. This same MANAGER came over to us in the isle and said mam we are closing now very abruptly and wanted us out!!! I have never been stoped in any store in my life to basically kick me out before a store was even closed. She knew what we were looking for, as we had asked her where to find it. We then just stopped looking and checked out, still with a couple minutes to spare. This lady needs to be FIRED SOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Frequently out of items, higher prices on most things than other stores or online (though they constantly have 40% to 50% off 1 item coupons online) and when you need help finding things it is often difficult to locate staff. I go here when I need something right away for a project but otherwise I order online.

They could have more to offer in soap and candle making supplies as well as actual model kits. Very few vehicle models and virtually no military planes or ships. It sucks, but there really are things better shopped online. For my needs, Ill stick to Amazon.

Super corporate, usually $1-2 more expensive than online (on 3-5$ items). Good for walking around. Hate their rewards program. Its more kmart than art store. Never had one conversation about art there that was meaningful. I go usually 2-3 times a month.

Very helpful customer service. Felt very welcome from the greeter all the way through the store.There were employees throughout the store willing to help with anything. They were knowledgeable of locations of items through the whole store not just the location they were in themselves. Cashier was also very friendly. They have a little bit of everything. Even though I didnt find everything I needed, I left happy.You just dont find customer service like this anymore. Great job Michaels!!!

Michaels was and is great. Always my favorite place for arts and craft supplies. And i was able to find a cool reusable box and giant bow to wrap a Christmas gift in. How cool is that? Awesome place, and Ive found that they are pretty much nation wide.

What a beautiful store. Wonderfully organized and staffed. Was easy to find help if needed. Oh what a selection of yarn, scrapbooking, floral, Christmas...I could go on and on. Very clean and well lit. Easy to navigate and check out was quick even at this busy time of year!!!

Kate, an apparent manager of some sort in this building, is very rude. She suffers from poor communication and I hope she doesn’t talk to other customers the way she spoke to me today. She’ll jump on your back if your nose becomes exposed when you’re smelling the candles. A real joy.

Love this place! One thing I appreciate most about this location is their cleanliness. Youd think a place with so much stuff would be a total mess, but they keep everything perfectly neat and tidy. Furthermore, their staff is phenomenal. They are all so helpful and friendly, which is great, but what I appreciate most is that they still give you space if you want to just wander and fly solo. Keep up the good work.

They have pretty much everything for the arts and crafts hobbyist. Their depth in any one area isnt extraordinary, but the professional creative isnt their target. That being said, they do have level three paints and canvases, so if you dont have to have a particular brand, then dont ignore them.

Great online ordering experience. Picked up at the store. I did called to ask them to hold my order till the next day (not past my pickup date) and the lady was rude about it and told me that if I didnt pick it up the next day that they would send it back. But when I went to pick it up the gal was super nice and apologetic for the response I got, which made it all better. Thats team work!!!

Ok so this is an excellent place to shop when searching for a new artistic hobby, e.g. painting... BUT when its mandatory to wear a mask to enter the store because of COVID and you find employees in the back not following the same guidelines that I do to SPEND MONEY AT YOUR STORE... Becomes a little frustrating... Was asked to leave and return with masks but the employees cant do the same... tisk tisk... 2 Stars

Its a Michaels. I typically only go here for pens, and only if Im desperate. Selection is what you get at any store in the chain, so thats a given, but the service here has a tendency to be a bit, um, gruff. Long and short of it is that youre better off hitting a local art supply shop.

I had a piece of art that needed framing. Laura helped me and she was great - very patient and helpful! Plus, there was a sale on frames, so the frame I selected was 65% less! Wow!! How lucky am I?? Great service and a stellar deal!

This is my go to place for crafting supplies. I like their large yarn selection. With their rewards program I regularly get half off coupons which is a nice bonus. The staff is also always very friendly.

For me this store has the same amout of joy as having your foot caught in a bear trap. I can never find what I want and no one is very helpful. If you love wandering isles for hours getting ideas for projects this place is perfect.

I was looking at a frame for a large poster. The exact same brand frame at Michaels was three times the price of Walmart. Even when they have their 1/2 price sale it was more money. It was Sunday and there was no one around to ask a question. The only to employees I saw were two ladies working the register.

I signed up for the rewards program, and within 24 hours, I was bombarded with all sorts of spam email. Obviously, they sell the info you give them. I went from maybe a few spam emails a week to several dozen every single day. Im super pissed off about this. Never shopping there again. What a crappy way to operate. Beware, DO NOT give them your email! If 0 stars was an option, I wouldnt even give them that many.

If youve ever been in Michaels then you know that they have a wide selection of virtually any kind of crafts available. The store is well-stocked and the clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. Ive had the occasional moronic cashier but for the most part theyre pretty friendly and good at their job.

This is absolutely the worst Michaels I’ve ever been to. We showed up early and were the only customers in a store full of employees. We asked several people the same question and no one could help. While attempting to get an answer, two customers came in and managed to get in line before us. The “Manager” saw us waiting and didn’t bother to help out until our cashier asked for help. She actually made a point to tell us we were in her way, while standing in line with a put out “excuse me” as she meandered through. When asked for help she blatantly told us that she didn’t know and basically that she wouldn’t try to figure it out. Mind you, she wasn’t doing anything before OR after this encounter but walking back and forth. In the end our question wasn’t answered nor were we helped and we ended up having to spend more only to receive a 40% off of our next visit coupon. Total joke.
