Incredible customer service. Outside of my own business, this is something I have rarely come across, especially in modern times, and so satisfying to encounter. Long story short, I had flooding on the 2nd story and tore up some carpet to dry out the mats before rotting or mold became an issue. I called them, ready to pay for whatever was necessary to ensure safety. While most would try to take advantage of a vulnerable situation for the sake of profit, they lent me a knee kicker for free to stretch the carpet, as my situation was an easy fix. The kindness and generosity wont go unnoticed on my part, and Ill surely recommend them to anyone with flooring needs. Any other buying factor aside, trust like this says everything that needs to be said. Thanks again!

Today we had the carpets in our home replaced. What a difference good quality and beautiful carpeting makes. Amy was so helpful, answering our questions and leading us to the quality and style of carpet we were after. She has an amazing range of knowledge and is a really easy person to work with. This turned out to be a busy season, so the mills were backlogged and the installers were booked up, but we werent in a hurry so it worked out well for us. In addition, the installers that Amy sent were fabulous, did a great job and were such nice guys . . . hard working, too. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Moving furniture and cleaning out closets isnt fun, but it was worth it! I wouldnt waste time shopping around ever again, Id go to I & J carpets and work with Amy. Great company and the best people.

Overall a really good experience with I&J. Jerry was a total pro and super easy to work with. We ended up going with Shaw carpeting and are super happy with the purchase. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the install subcontractors didnt do an adequate job of cleaning up post install.

Amy was extremely knowledgeable, gave great advice on different options for flooring, and unlike another place in town didnt talk down to me as a female, first time flooring person. I had already heard great things about this place from my friends who are contractors, it definitely lived up to the expectations.

I hadnt had to buy new carpeting in many years and needed an education on what is now available plus I wanted someone to personally come to my home and help me make a selection. Amy did all this for me with expertise and patience (it is hard for me to make up my mind on these kinds of decisions). There was no sales pressure whatsoever. I didnt bother shopping around but rather chose I & J purposely since they have been here longer than the 20 years I have been and are locally, family owned. All this shows in their knowledge and professionalism. Their installers were prompt, friendly, and efficient. They also moved my furniture for me and were very careful and professional. Should the need arise, I will definitely go straight to I & J in the future.

One recent morning, my wife and I were the only people in the store, obviously shopping, and the two people working there ignored us for more than 15 minutes while they talked on their phones...no “I’ll be right with you”, no nothing.
