This is an amazing store. It’s conveniently located on the corner so the layout is pretty awesome. The layout was very clean and easy to find what I needed. There’s a great men’s selection of clothing. I actually found a hat here that I couldn’t find anywhere else. I was actually told that you couldn’t find that anywhere because the manufacturer had slowed down during the pandemic. The selection of clothing was great here. There’s also a women’s section. I didn’t spend much time there, but my wife found a couple items that she liked. We checked out the kids section 2 but we’re just not in that he trained as much anymore.I also loved how friendly the staff was. I’ve been to stores where the staff is pushy and they’re just in your business too much, that was not the case here. The staff was super laid-back but they were also available as needed. They answered some questions that we were trying to figure out and they were super helpful. They actually talk to us about how you could even shop online because we live out of town. I love when someone goes the extra mile to help you out.
Andrew of Patagonia Bend was incredible. He kept me posted throughout the process of purchase to delivery. He was fully invested and always replied to messages. GREAT representative of Patagonia!!
Locally owned partner store! Heard it might make returns a bit different, but the sales people are very nice. Small footprint.
Caveat emptor: it looks like a duck, talks like a duck, but is not a duck! Would not take returns from Patagonia.com. Should change their name: this is not a Patagonia store.
While I haven’t had *negative* interactions with this store like other reviewers, I have had some frustrating ones, many of which stem from the misleading branding where this isn’t actually a first-party Patagonia store. It’s a dealer/reseller that doesn’t have the same policies/incentives as Patagonia corporate. This store carries exactly one type of non-cotton pants. Patagonia has an excellent lineup of technical apparel, that may not sell as well as their more “athleisure” stuff, but most corporate stores have a pretty good selection of this stuff. This location also doesn’t carry any of the short-inseam or long-inseam sizes of anything. This is a bummer.Anyways, if you’re a roughly average sized person looking for the more fashion-oriented things in Patagonia’s current lineup, this might be the store of you. If you need a short/long inseam, technical layers, or to return anything purchased from a “real” Patagonia store, you’re probably better off with another option.
Choices are a bit limited in comparison to whats displayed on the website but it definitely has all the popular items.
I went into the Bend Patagonia store for overall shorts and they had the exact ones I wanted and I love them. Thank you!
Excellent customer service while buying my puffy! The whole team was very knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond.
Young woman working there wasnt super helpful in helping my daughter find things. Modest selection. Good location downtown.
Super friendly staff
I was in the Patagonia @ Bend store today and had a very poor customer service experience. I am a huge fan of Patagonia and have been for a long time, not just their clothing line, but also their overall mission to reduce impact on the environment. Big fan of worn wear. I have both purchased and sold thousands of dollars of their product in support of the company, as I worked for about 10 years in the outdoor retail industry at a large outfitter in the southeast. I am now a Physician Assistant in the Seattle area and happen to also be a thruhiker, having completed the AT in 2003. I say these things not to brag, because really, who cares, but because my credibility was called into question by the staff. My wife and I are in town skiing at Mt. Bachelor for the week and we popped in on Monday afternoon for me to grab a couple small things for skiing, as well as a pair of windshield liner gloves. They were an older version of the glove, but I did not know this. Unfortunately, when I tried to wear them today for the first time, only 2 days after buying them, I noticed there was a hole in the left hand glove, the one I did not try on in the store. I attempted to return them this afternoon after skiing, not having worn them. I had both my receipt as well as the store tag that was on them with me. I was immediately met with suspicion by both the male store clerk, whose name I did not get, as well as the store supervisor, Daniel. Both of them were unwilling to do anything for me in the form of a store credit or a refund and behaved as if I was trying to steal from them because the gloves were an older model of which they only had that pair and they didn’t have another in that size in stock. They suggested that I contact Patagonia for possible repairs. While I understand that there may have been people in the past that have unfortunately tried to pass off old product for money or store credit, the only people who are at fault for this kind of action are those same people. Approaching honest people from a place of suspicion when you clearly don’t know your own inventory is inappropriate at best and disrespectful at worst. Having my integrity called into question over a menial pair of gloves makes me furious. It was only when I started to make a stink about the unfairness of the situation that the manager Daniel agreed to at least do an exchange for another item I needed and refunded the difference. I don’t usually post reviews, so it takes a lot to get me to do so. The way I was treated is simply unacceptable. My only goal in posting this is for other people to not be treated the same way I was. While I will continue to support Patagonia as a company, I will go out of my way not to patronize this store.
Very professional and friendly staff, good quality jackets.
Patagonia gear and clothes are fabulous as is the spirit and intention of the Patagonia company. Unfortunately some of the staff in the Bend, Oregon store do not reflect that spirit. My family was in the area for a wedding and when we visited the store, we were prepared to shop. However there was an older female staff member that was so rude and offensive, that we left as quickly as possible. Ive never felt less welcome in a retail establishment as I did in this store. This employee acted offended and put out if we touched any item in the store. My sister was fully prepared to purchase a very expensive coat but before she could try on several coats in order to make her decision, this woman raced over to zip up the coat my sister wanted to try on a second time, put it back on the rack and scowled at my sister. The staff who were manning the registers were both pleasant and inviting. But this one staff member tainted the entire experience. We are frequently in the area but we wont be back to this store again.
Friendly staff, great products, but small store, often they dont have the size, color or model Im looking for in store. They can order it online but its not the same as trying it on in person that day. I still like dropping in when Im downtown to see the new seasonal offerings.
On Dec 29, 2019 I returned 3 items to this store purchased online with receipts. I was informed by a male employee the return would not go back onto my original form of payment but instead was to be given store credit. I SPECIFICALLY asked if I could use the store credit to order items from online through the store. The employee confirmed I would be able to do so so I proceeded with the return. I went into the store today to repurchase a pair of snow pants for myself and my husband in the correct sizes. I was informed by the staff the items could be ordered through their warehouse but not online because this particular store is locally owned. I was mislead by the previous employee in December, if this had been clearly explained or I had been given correct information I would NOT have proceeded with the return in December. Now I can not even purchase the correct size of Snow pants with my credit. Such a waste. If a store is unable to order their own products it should not be able to have its name. Very disappointed. Where is this store getting their merchandise from that is in their warehouse anyway??? Perhaps PATAGONIA..Online???. Just a thought. Aside from having a credit in this store (which I will not spend more than), I will no longer be shopping here and will only be shopping through their main company. Very wasteful-of my time, money, and energy.
I was looking for a pair of pants for camping and the store associates helped me find what I was looking for. They were friendly and informative! Thanks Bend Patagonia!
Best clothing store in Bend, first class staff and selection. Very well managed and merched, truly an excellent store. You can also recycle old Patagonia clothing here, love what this store does and the company does for the community and the environment.
I came in with my son who had a small hole in his jacket. I asked the dark haired gentleman if he could help. He was super quick to help and cut out a small piece of gear tape to place over the hole. He did it all with a smile and never tried to make it seem like an inconvenience. This behavior should be a model for all businesses. Thank you Patagonia Bend!
Love Patagonia. Quality clothes. Ive had a pair of shorts that Ive owned for 15 years and have worn hundreds of times, that are still in good shape. Bend store was A good experience...staff was helpful and friendly..
The Patagonia store is one of my favorite places to go and browse and sometimes purchase what I need for he outdoors. I love the selection and the knowledge of the staff. The only thing I find odd is that the men’s pants that are carried only have inseam lengths of 32 or greater. So, needless to say, I need to order to get the size I need.
Great, locally owned business with all the Patagonia goodness!
I love their clothing. Very expensive. Very high quality.
Killer gear and an awesome staff. I wouldnt buy my outdoor/technical clothing anywhere else. You can find cheaper, but you wont find higher quality. I like the shops rustic set-up, too. Cool vibe. Check em out.
Walked and and immediately greeted by a employee. I had a few questions about down jackets and associates had all the answers. Even after trying on almost every down sweater in the place, I was still helped with a smile.
I love the fact that they have an an amazing gaurantee on there merch
For the price of their merchandise and for how much you spend to get a reward, I am very disappointed that I was unable to use my reward because it had expired 5 days ago. I think emails should be sent out as a reminder, not just having it on a receipt.
One of the best Patagonia stores I have visited for casual wear. More limited selection of technical items. Nice, knowledgeable staff. Great shop.
Love this place, a tad pricey but their store is always well maintained with the latest gear.
Our recent Client Holiday celebration would NOT be the same without Patagonia! Our community is better because of them.
Im a frequent buyer of this brand and Ive never felt uncomfortable in one of their stores until visiting this location. Although I was a little unkempt due to a road trip I was on, I didnt look like a begger, yet one of the employees was constantly tailing me as if I was about to nick something. Minutes later two more employees began whispering to each other while pointing and laughing quietly while watching us. My girlfriend and I started to feel so uncomfortable, we immediately put back the items I was about to purchase and left. By far the worst shopping experience Ive ever had. I would never recommend this location!
Great store with friendly staff. Well laid out and organized. Dog friendly!
This is the most unfriendly outdoor store I have ever visited. Made the decision to stop shopping here .
Good products, employees, location, building. They let me bring my dog too. 5 stars
Prices too high. Staff not to friendly the whole time we were shopping not one person said hello or asked if we needed help. Ended up buying one item and even the guy at the checkout didnt even say hello...
I love Patagonia. This store has lots of good items, but nothing on sale.
Love the brand and wonderful service they offer at great location!
Staff was very friendly. Great product selection.
Get your gear here for the authentic Oregon outdoorsy and has money for expensive trucker hats look!
