We had an unpleasant experience and only reluctantly used Mountain Marble for our shower walls and floor. It began with many we cant do that, we dont do that and we wont do that but we accepted his attitude and limitations and adjusted our wish list to their limitations accordingly. When the day came, the owner--Jerry---came to our home and told us that the shower drain our contractor had installed--with a square brushed nickel finish--wouldnt work: That it had to be round. He showed us the one he intended to install. We didnt have a problem with round-versus--square, but it was bright chrome and I told him we wanted a brushed nickel finish. This is what we use, he said defiantly. I asked Jerry, why dont you go online and get a brushed nickel finish? At that point, he said, Im done, gathered his tools and walked out. Because my contractor had prepped the wall specifically to Mountain Marbles specifications, he talked Jerry into returning, with Jerrys stipulation that I could not be there during his time at my house.Their prices are good but their customer relations are very poor. Be sure you agree with everything they say they do because it is unlikely they will even attempt to find solutions to a customers request if it varies at all from their rigid approach.
