Very odd since it says Amazing customer service is our #1 priority on their website. Weird! I offered them money in exchange for a product...... and they denied me. I had my Yakima roof rack system fail while driving (purchased/installed from another store), and while I was able to identify which piece broke, I couldnt fix it myself. I stopped by Cascade Rack, and they not only fixed it quickly and reinstalled my rack for me, they also replaced the piece that was broken without charging me a dime. So kind! Glad to have them here in Bend.

These guys went above and beyond. I had contacted on a Sunday about a special order hitch receiver and the work was done by mid-day Tuesday. Excellent customer service!!! They were very helpful, gave me a quote for a hitch mount bike rack for my motorhome. I went to their warehouse and they actually had a rack built up and ready to go. They put it on my motorhome, but then I realized there would be a ground clearance problem. They removed the rack. They were very kind and helpful.

Id recently driven from AK with a $50 Craigslist rack slowly falling apart w each mile and this business was a godsend. I was having some trouble with my hitch receiver and adapter because there was play in the rack when going over bumps and whatnot. I came in without an appointment and they helped me out right away, we tried a new adapter but it was almost worse and the guy who was helping me said so, not trying to sell me something I didnt need. then he put the rack back on (which believe me, is a process) and thanked me for coming by. 10/10 customer service!I also previously had the actual receiver installed there and they were just as great, but I felt this was above and beyond. they have definitely earned a loyal customer!!

My bike rack wouldnt stay fixed to my roof racks and they helped remove the screw that I had stripped trying to tighten the bike rack to the roof rack, and fitted me with a screw and locking washer that actually worked to keep the rack in place. Had a hitch installed this past summer. They had it on and ready to go earlier than promised. Just had some warranty work done on a Thule bike rack. Took some time to get the part from Thule but Matt replaced the part in 15 minutes. Great service.

A rivet on my Yakima cargo box broke making opening and closing it sketchy. A friend recommended I stop in at Cascade Rack, said they were great when they’d had a problem with their rack. They were able to repair it quickly so we’re set for our next trip to the mountain. THANK YOU!!

Cascade Rack is an appropriate name for this company that went above and beyond any mountain top to provide the ideal solution for my vehicle!!I have a 2004 Cayenne Turbo with OE Thule Aerobars that are more like truck crossbars. No system is big enough to clamp around them, so I needed a solution that fits the channels. This is where I share a lesson learned. My journey required three visits.I just assumed that a standard Thule rack would work for my car. So when I came in, thats what I asked for. I bought and went straight to the store to buy my kayaks. I get the kayaks out and decide (then) to install the racks, only to realize the racks wont fit. The store was willing to take the kayaks back to hold for me until I figured this out.Enter Ted. I call Ted and tell him my mistake and he says come in. well get you setup. I went back in and we figured out the only system that would stack two kayaks AND work on my car was the Rhino Rack Nautic Stack. Ted went the extra mile when we realized some of the fasteners provided needed to be swapped out for something better. Ted took it on with a smile. He was a pleasure to deal with through this long process.Got that installed and went on a long 1500 mile trip. I hated that rack. Not only was it difficult to keep my cheap sit on top Pelican Bandit kayaks in place, but the whole process took so long, it sucked the fun out of even having kayaks. A few days after I returned from that trip, I call up Ted again. And again, he told me to come in and wed work something out. His goal was to make me a happy customer and enjoy my kayaks!I go in the last time and decide that since Im on a tight budget, Ill try ONE J-style carrier from Thule (Hull-a-Port Aero) so that at least one kayak is easy to load and will stay in place. Ted is the man. He gave me a full refund on the used rack. It was clean and looked new, so while I was really surprised he went this far, Im grateful he did.In the end, I was able to stay in budget, thanks to Ted, and loading my kayaks is a breeze now. Thankfully, the second kayak fits flat on the rack since the J-style carrier is to one side. Now Im in business!Lesson learned? I should have listened to Ted when he originally told me that J-style carriers are the way to go. Thanks Ted!!

They have racks for anything plus installation services for simple or elaborate setups. They have all car carrier solutions, but particularly good option for intense, complicated racks, boxes, etc

Very disappointing. i would not recommend this business.i described my bike when i went in to get a new bike rack. the salesman sold me a horizontal bar so my bike would sit properly on the rack. he also sold me a new bike rack.i used the set-up once and found the horizontal bar chipped my beautiful paint. it was clearly not the proper bar for the bike.i went back and explained the problem. kyle told me hed look for a better solution. 3 weeks have passed, no one from cascade rack has gotten back to me.

This crew was amazing! I was from out of town and my racks lock broke so I popped in to see if it could be fixed because the rack was over a decade old and completely antiquated, the guys spent a couple hours searching for parts and a solution to have my problem fixed. Blown away by the customer service. Im in Bend at least a couple weeks a year but if I need anything Im going to buy from them and pay to have it shipped instead of visiting a local retailer. Thanks again guys!

Called looking for a particular rack, and Ted says,Give me your name and number, and Ill call you back.He didnt. Went in to the store, and both employees were with customers. Over a 10 minute period, I was not looked at or spoken to. Its like I was a ghost or something! No, well be with you in a minute, NOTHING. I understand being busy, I dont understand totally ignoring someone whos walked into your 20x30 foot showroom. I wanted to shop local, but dont think Ill go back.
