Pro-Mix is fantastic and the ONLY place I will rent or refer people to rent music equipment from in the future. You can tell when people enjoy what they do and truly wish you success and that is Mike and Marisela without a doubt. We needed to rent a pa/speaker system for our Block Party and Pro-Mix went above and beyond our expectations and set my mind at ease. Rented a karaoke machine from Pro-Mix after a last minute pivot from a karaoke bar to a party at home and it couldnt have been easier! Mike was great and promptly sent a contract over to me after speaking on the phone. Instructions for machine set up were helpful and equipment was straightforward to use. We will definitely use Pro-Mix again!!The only qualm from our attendees was that they wanted a few more Bruce Springsteen songs added to the machine (Born to Run, Thunder Road, Glory Days) otherwise the selection was very comprehensive!

Love this place! We have rented from them many times, karoake machines mostly but now we have also rented a projector and a screen. Every time I have dealt with them, I have received added value. The owner Mike always throws in some little thing or works with us to accommodate our timing. They are very organized and have friendly staff and good pricing. Highly recommend!!

Great place for rental gear.Attended my brothers wedding and needed some lights for the dance floor, speakers, and a microphone.I called in and spoke to a representative who helped me place the rental every step of the way.They showed me how to set up everything which made it less stressful when I had to do it by myself at he banquet hall.Overall, super easy to book the rental, good pricing made this experience great. This business is a GEM. I needed speakers, microphones, and a sound board for my wedding. I was shocked by their affordable pricing. The sound system was top-notch. The employees were extremely helpful and so friendly! I was so impressed w/ everyone - i had to ask if they were all family and this is a family-run business. They told me no, we are employees here. the owner treats us well and we love working here. I had called Guitar Center prior to calling them. Didnt get a call back. We rented the “pea souper” fog machine for our wedding this past Saturday and it made for the COOLEST photos of our first dance. It was a last minute decision and Mike from Pro Mix was beyond helpful. He let us pick it up early which was one less thing I had to stress about on my wedding day. Can’t beat the price either. Machine worked as expected and the fog was thick and low to the ground thanks to Mike’s expert advice. We’ll be recommending pro mix for everyone’s events!!

As a Professional Mix DJ out of Atlanta, I travel quite a bit for weddings, etc. I had a special family wedding just outside of Chicago recently. I needed gear (Mixing Board, Speakers, Mic, etc). Lots of research brought me to Pro-Mix Audio. The rental prices were great. I worked with PJ and he was professional throughout the entire process. When I picked up the gear I noticed they had a great inventory set. They even set up the equipment to test/demo before I picked it up. Nice. I made a few last minute adjustments and there was no stress. Next trip to Chicago, I know where to go for any DJ needs. Highly recommend.

They were great for renting a do-it-yourself DJ system for our wedding. I would definitely rent from them again if I never had the need. The equipment was great and easy to use, the warnings on their website regarding ruining equipment are a little scary, but as long as you treat the equipment with care you have nothing to worry about.I will admit one time when I called, someone who answered the phone was a little unhelpful and stand-offish but once I got connected with the person who helped us get everything set up it was a breeze.Also, if you use the Google Maps app, BE VERY CAREFUL! The app will have their correct address on Oakton listed, but if you hit Drive (the car symbol), it will take you to their old location in Elk Grove. You may need to specifically drive to the address to get to them.
