Im so grateful we have a local bookstore who also carries a whole assortment of other things, gifts, cards, games, puzzles etc. I love the cards and also a selection of magazines! I was impressed they were even carrying my favorite The Sun mag with no advertising only art and heartfelt writing! Bravo!I was searching for a book they ran out of and were able to order me it to arrive a few days later and called to remind me to pick up! This place is so cool. They have Indy books you can’t just find anywhere. I recommend Harvest Moon, which you can find right next to Harry Potter. It was an amazing love story!!!

Books Inc staff is efficient and ready to help with orders, holds, and recommendations - I love the personal staff recommendation notes under books for sale in the store, and every conversation Ive had with staff has been pleasant - theyve been forward with helping you find a book and prompt to explain ordering status of each book. The store is clearly organized and its clear the staff love their work!

Very disappointing customer service. We purchased some kids walkie talkies for our seven year old from the Books Inc toy section. The walkie talkies were extremely low quality and did not work at all as advertised. When I tried to return the product (within 14 days, with receipt as advertised) I was told these products were not returnable as they had been opened. Any decent store will take back products if the customer is not happy with the quality of the product. I expect better from Books Inc, but the end result is its harder to support local stores when they dont offer reasonable return policiesNote: Please see the response from Books Inc below, which I very much appreciated. I had already donated the walkie talkies to Goodwill, but nevertheless I thank the owner for their response.

Good for buying cards, magazines, books, too, anything you need. helpful and good to buy from some one other than amazon, support the small guy!!

One of my all time favorite book store(s), grew up going to their Burlingame and SF locations. Their displays for books are wonderfully curated and representive.

Books Inc has taken over the location that was once occupied by Black Oak Books. One of my favorite books stores. Alas they had to move. Books Inc is not a bad replacement. Its always nice to have local book stores still in business ever since Amazon and online retailers have started to dominate the industry. Check them out, theyre not the biggest but they have great customer service and are very friendly.

Excellent brick and mortar book store. A Haven for serious readers with a great selection and friendly knowledgeable staff. A quiet lively oasis for book lovers.

This is a book lovers and writers dream. Its a wonderful little book store with something for everyone that is organized yet welcoming and encourages you to wander in wonder. The owners/managers encourage and support local authors with frequent book readings. Being new to California, I am happy to say that I have found myself a new home away from home.

My boys enjoy checking out the book in childrens reading corner. I love buying gifts here, all because of wrapping services. They make most effort to make lovely wrapping. Love the choices of wrapping paper, saves time for the birthday gift shopping. They have reading environment to reading. Their story time is worth going.

I havent even been there yet. But five stars is how much I want to go.

I bought one book there today. Very helpful — with just a close approximation of the exact title, she walked right to where it was and handed me a copy, and now I have a new book! And I very seldom add more books to my library; they have to be choice good ones. Very nice bookstore.

This is an amazing place. very warm and accomodating. i have a new puppy that will soon be a therapy dog, they welcomed him and myself, gave us a seat and even gave my pup a treat! highly recommend for families!
