The parts employees are the best! I was a quart low on oil for my truck. I asked if they had any paper funnels. And one of the counter guys said I could borrow a funnel! I was relieved. I only had $6.00 on me that day. Enough for a quart of oil. They know how to take care of their customers at this Autozone!! Thanks guys!!

Made an appointment at 12:30 to have my ac checked and fixed, but I am still waiting for the mechanic or whoever to stop walking around and pretending to do things. 2 Other FEMALE customers have came in to complain that the service they already paid for has not even been done. Since then other customers have been in and out easily enough. I find it weird that EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here to get a service these workers always make me wait hours upon hours for something they are taking their sweet time on (my service is never a big job that requires that many hours and I’m always ahead of other cars with an appointment). Very disappointed I’m still currently waiting (now 4:30)

Just came here and stood around for 5 minutes. These kids where to busy on there phones and one was sitting down on the ladder by the registers. No one else was in the building being helped. Sorry but my time is precious. Guess i have to go to somewhere else

My suv check engine light came on so I stopped here to run the code. I expected an associate to come out and help me but they handed me the machine and said they would interpret the code when I walked back in. I was able to do it myself though I never had before. Afterwards, I was told I could reset it and erase the code but it didnt work. Would have been better if someone who knew what they were doing had helped me. I still appreciate the free check service. I will still go here for parts I know I need. But my other parts store nearby is more helpful for unknowns.

Today on my way to work my battery died I stopped at autozone to purchase a replacement the store hours posted were 7:30 waited until 7:40 yet no one was there except multiple customers and employees waiting to enter the facility but no key holder to let us in. I decided to quit waiting because I needed to get to work went to oreillys auto parts directly across the street purchased my battery and got it installed. Great service from next door. Ps take off 7:30 for the opening time if the store will not be open by even 8. As I passed at 8 there was a heard of autozone employees as well as customers surrounding the door.

So there I was, knuckle deep in a 94 chevy cheyanne 2500 when wouldnt you know it, I needed a slave cylinder for the clutch. Of course i have work tomorrow, and sure, I tried orielys, but they had to order it. Call these classy people up and bang boom Im shredding down 528 like theres no problem. Would recomend.

Horrible customer service, James the manager is a young kid that absolutely has no knowledge on cars and co-workers just seem the same as well, every time I go in there no one knows at all what there talking about and I always get the wrong parts! Doesn’t even deserve a one star!

Today my mother and sister went in to buy me a Father’s Day gift. My mother noticed that the workers were not wearing masks. She asked why they weren’t wearing masks. They informed her that they weren’t required to and that the police couldn’t do anything about it. They were very snide and rude. After making here purchase and walking out the worker that rung her up started clapping as they left. My family quickly turned and asked for a refund. According to the current order the state still requires masks to protect employees and patrons during the pandemic. Very disappointed with this store. I go to this store for all of auto needs. I will be going elsewhere going forward.

I dont live near bernalilloSo went to get a gas cap replacement what do you know ...you guessed it wroug one so traveling between AutoZone and my house...price of gas cap 19$ total with gas after multiple trips there came out too approx 38 $Avoid AutoZone if you can ..Oh not the first time wrong parts were given at least 4 ..5 other timesAnd do you think tell pay you gas ...FOR THEIR MISTAKES..I DONT HAVE TO ASK YOU YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNOW THAT QUESTIONAUTOZONE SUCKS

Sunday afternoon my mother and I had gone into this store for a Father’s Day gift and while we were they we felt uncomfortable because none of the employees were wearing masks even though there is a state mandate stating that all employees including patrons are required to wear a face covering while in the building. Upon asking the employees why they were not wearing a mask they said that the mandate was lifted. When we knew it has not been. My mother then proceeded to ask when the mandate was lifted and the employees said about 3 weeks ago. Which like I said before was not true. My mom also asked about the safety of their customers and the employees did not seem to care. We also pointed out the sign on the door that indicated to be vigilant and practice social distancing which they still ignored. Finally, while we were leaving the store the clerk that help us started clapping to be condescending. So we returned the item that we purchased and got a refund. I will not be returning to this store.

Cant remember the employees name he works in the afternoon evening hours. Really helpful and knowledgeable about what you might be repairing on your vehicle, explains everything to you. Makes sure you are satisfied with your purchase before you leave the store. Great employee to have.

Recently had to replace the timing belt on my vehicle. I typically have a great experience with this particular AutoZone. This trip, however, was beyond terrible.When I was at the store, I immediately noticed something was off. When I buy my parts, I always compare the physical part number to ensure that number matches that of the box. The box labeled the belt as 295, but the part itself was labeled 259. I mentioned this to the salesman, who assured me this was an alternatepart number and it would match my vehicle. This was not the case. The belt did not fit the vehicle after all. I returned to the store to return the part, and things got worse......On this return visit, I returned with the original belt that needed replacement. When comparing the 2 belts, AutoZones product was considerably shorter than the length of my old belt. A total of 3 more were in stock, all labeled the same as the one I purchased. Needless to say, I got my money back.This experience has shaken my confidence in AutoZone. I will likely be shopping elsewhere for my auto parts in the future.

There were four young male staff when I walked in and only one other customer. None of the four approached me to ask if I needed help. Fortunately I found it myself. The price for my item was 11.99. When I went to check out the four young men continued to joke around. Then one young man attended to me but the other three continued to look at videos on their cellphone. There were three red shirts and one grey shirt. My item rang up at 16.99 so I questioned it. They all looked at each other so I walked back to check the price and one other followed me. He found the price before I did. And the guy in grey changed the price. They didnt even apologize. LOUSY customer service! I felt unimportant as a customer and I believe they increased the price because Im female! Ill never go back again!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I went there to get an air filter because my check engine light came on and I knew that it was because of the filter being so dirty. The employee offered to diagnose and clear the check engine light without me asking them to do it. This auto store just became my new favorite store.

I went to purchase hub bearings I dont remember who helped me. I asked if all the bearings I needed for my vehicle were the ones I was purchasing I even had the old bearing there I know nothing bout vehicles so I asked him he assured me I had everything I need I live 45 miles 1 way I get back to the mechanic n he informs me there is a racer n a bearing missing from the parts I ordered where there were to b two parts in one box n 3 in the otherthere was only 1 so I called bernallio nm an spoke tho Charles to inform them that the parts were not the right parts n they sold me parts that were missing he said bring them back n order right parts I told him I dont trust them ordering individual parts I rather order a full hub he replied well whats the point I thought you dont to do business with us n hung up

I wish I had taken a photo of the nice man who help me yesterday! Four people behind me in line. I walked up asking about windshield wipers. I didnt know the age of my car, he jumped from behind the counter and showed me where to find that information and we strolled back in and he gladly looked up the ones that fit my car. I asked are they hard to install and he said No, but Ill put them on for you WOW! He smiled the whole time helped me pick the price point I wanted to spend, I got a discount by texting to a number. I saved $7.00 and he put them showing me how to do it myself if I ever chose to do so. He shook my hand and smiled while I gushed Thank you. You have won mine and my husbands business and Ive already given you guys a shout out on social media! Thank you for your service and helpfulness, Manuel!

They tested my alternator last week and told me that it was going bad and was only charging my 12 volt battery up to 8 volts and that my battery was good and was charged at 85%. I have not replaced the alternator or the battery in my car yet or had any work done to it and today they told me that my alternator is good and that my battery is bad. So its either one or the other but I dont trust what they say because theyve told me completely opposite stories within two weeks of each other

I broke down north of Bernalillo and had a family member purchase a new alternator and bring it out to me. She purchased what we thought was a new alternator from the AutoZone on Rio Bravo in Albuquerques south valley, she gave the associate the Vin# for the correct part and they ended up giving her an alternator for a 2003 Acura, remanufactured! The vin she gave them was for a 2001 Chevy Silverado, go figure. I was able to limp into Bernalillo and stop at the local AutoZone store, the sales associate and manager listened to my dilemma and found the correct part, even without asking for the vin just a vehicle description, did the exchange and took care of the problem. The Bernalillo AutoZone is trully the place to buy your DYI auto parts. These guys are spot on.

I went their in dire need of aid. I was driving from Colorado to Texas and my water pump went out. I literally called all the other shops in town and this shop was the only one to help me. I find that the staff at the Bernalillo Autozone is not as helpful as they can be. Last night I took my car in and had the battery checked. The young man was going to take it out for us and since my dad had the tools we said we would just do it. When we were having trouble with the tie down bolt I went and asked him for help, he came out and expressed it was a tie down, took no effort in looking for it at all and told me Id have to remove my air filter cover. I explained to him he have changed the battery several times and NEVER had to remove that cover, he just shrugged and repeated that it was a tie down bolt and went back inside. LUCKILY the young lady that works there, Samantha was taking a break outside and my dad asked her to come look at it. She immediately found the bolt for us. She also took the time to tell me what would possibly be draining my battery (we just changed both battery and alt. this summer). The young man who was helping us originally did not even take the time to do this, he only took time to tell us that he cant test my altenator without the battery being charged.I suggest if you go in there you find Samantha because she knows what she is talking about and takes the time to help AND explain it to you. If she had been the only one helping me perhaps I would have given more stars. If she had not helped us on her break this review would have gotten only one star.The last time we went the two boys that were working werent very helpful either, they seemed more condecending to my father when he was explaining what the issue was and what we already tried.I will be going up the road to Rio Rancho from now on.
