First time back to this location in a long while & Eddie the store manager was amazing helping me with my order! Super friendly, welcoming and my order was ready within minutes. Pregnancy brain had me mix up my own order and instead of adding insult to injury, Eddie was understanding and again made my experience painless and I left feeling relieved and happy. I’m glad to be able to enjoy visiting my neighborhood Starbucks again! Thank you Eddie and team for saving the day yesterday! :)

The staff at the drive thru window are friendly. I ordered a Caramel Frappuccino and went home when I took a look at my cup I had a little extra in there. A hair was on the inside of my cup. Grossed me out! Called and talked to a manager (JT) and all she could say was the lady who made your drink has blonde hair. Like I was lying about the whole ordeal. Smh she said to come in so she remade my drink and gave me a card with 4 dollars on it. Smfh. Never going to this location ever again!

Okay, this isnt the type of service I expected from Starbucks. I placed an order and they forgot an item in my order. I politely asked them about it and they acted like I was an inconvenience to them. Not only that, they had the customers in the lobby waiting for over 10 minutes to even place an order! The tall man rolled his eyes at us. The absolute worst.

Does not seem like there is a manager here. Feels like a free-for-all and capacity suited up does not meet demands. Very inconsistent. I have had excellent service to horrible service. Not unusual to wait 20-30 minutes beyond estimated time given by app. There are some who work really hard and know what good customer service is. There are also those who actively avoid eye contact so they can walk pass you multiple times and not say May I help you? or Well be with you shortly. Also, seems like most of the ingredients/equipment/supplies setup is concentrated in a very limited area - the drive-thru window space. Everybody is crammed in there trying to make drinks. Terrible operation setup. You feel sorry for the workers.

I came here not knowing that I had to use the 50% coupon online or on the app because it told me on the app to let the employee know that I wanted to use coupon so I did. So the girl at the window had a nasty attitude. Heres a tip sweetheart next time be more pleasant.

Im a partner and went inside to grab some drinks since I was in the area. The cashier was a tall gentleman with glasses that was sweet and friendly. I wish I could say that about the rest of the staff. There was only one person making drinks when the rest seemed to wipe a counter down and walk around. There was no sense of urgency even though there was a long line in drive and about 7/8 people waiting inside. Drinks were made out of order so even though I was there waiting, a customer three transactions after me received their items before me. I witnessed the only person making drinks make drinks out of standard, so I asked that, when my order was up, to please make them in the shaker as is standard. The girl still tried to make them incorrectly and when I asked again to make them to standard, another worker said thats how they are made. Not true and as someone whos been with the company for over 11 years, I did not appreciate this blatant lie. Over 30 minutes later, I received my drinks minus a hot chocolate. They had made the hot chocolate and put it in the mobile area where it had become cold, and later found out was incorrect and half filled. Had this been a well run shift, there would have been the sense of urgency and team work to get drinks out correctly and up to standard. I will definitely avoid this store from now on and seeing the looks of those around me, I think they will too.

Went to the drive thru today and it was the longest line and wait. They are extremely slow! If you are rushing to be at work or anywhere else do not stop here. I waited in line for at least 45 minutes to an hour. This is horrible! Who’s running this place? They need to evaluated. I love Starbucks but this particular location is a disgrace to the entire company !!!

I’m very disappointed in this location. Two days in a row now they have messed up my drink. A paid topping is either missing or the iced latte taste like steamed milk only. I more than likely won’t be back for them to make my drink wrong a third time. If you go to this location go inside or try your drink before you leave because I’m sure it won’t be right. It’s a shame especially for the expense of the drink there is no reason for the quality of the product to be so low.

Would give it a 0 if I could. They prioritize drive thru orders, and if you go inside chances are you’ll get the wrong drinks. I waited 15 minutes to get two of my drinks wrong. There are plenty of employees yet like three of them standing around. Hire people who work fast and correctly

I ordered through the Starbucks app, I had an order for pick up. I ended up waiting more then 25 mins after my order was apparently supposed to be remember. When I confronted the baristas they just told me, itll be out when its out. Sadly I had to leave without my drink cause I was running late to work. So I paid $9+ for an order to never be given to me. If I order from the app, I expect my drink to be ready on time and not for me waiting an extra 15 mins pass the expected deadline.

If you want to die in line while waiting for your drink order, this is the Starbucks to go to. They take 15-20 minutes just to make one drink and prioritize the long af drive-thru line over everyone else, even if you order ahead. Im normally patient and not a Karen type, but Ive complained to management about how slow this location is and it has somehow gotten even slower. If you live in Berwyn, youre better off driving to Oak Park or River Forest because the drive time is still shorter than waiting here.

It’s not too hard to make a nitro cold brew. Idk why they insist in putting ice on the nitro cold brew every time I order. I ordered an Irish nitro and was handed a cold brew with Irish topping and ice. I mentioned to them that the nitro cold brew doesn’t have ice and was handed a second drink, regular nitro cold brew! Again it’s not that hard! To make that drink!

I don’t know if it’s just the morning shift but customer service is terrible. The workers are very moody not so polite. Coffee seems to be off at times. I stop ordering breakfast sandwiches because they carelessly just toss my food in the bag. I really hope they fix the issues in the morning.

I’ve been to this location for a while now. But ever since the pandemic hit, customers service within the store dropped. Workers are more focused on dealing with those in the drive thru than those in front of them. Sometimes you’d think it’s faster to get out of your car and go in this store. But unfortunately, not the case. You spend the same amount of time waiting in the drive thru than and inside the store. Please give more attention to customers in front of you.

This location cannot keep up with the high volume of customers. Come to this location expect a long wait with a majority of staff having a bad attitude. I can say about 3 people at this location give great customer service. They definitely need more quality staff members who are capable of keeping up with the volume of customers.

The staff is very friendly but dang, the line is so long. Mobile ordering is rarely available now. I understand that the pandemic complicates things, but I think this has shown that Starbucks isnt well suited as a drive thru establishment. They would need to make some changes. I go to Dunkin Donuts at Cermak and 1st now on the way to work.

Worst Starbucks I’ve been to, the manager is rude as well as some of the employees there. They won’t even acknowledge you until you speak up and when you do all you get are bad stares. I understand it’s busy but be more courteous to the employees there and customers.

So it seems if you want to get your coffee quick drive thru is the best bet. I waited 22 mins for an ice coffee ? I seen about 8-10 employees on duty majority all working drive thru. I asked to speak to a manager and ask how the white man who came after me got his drink before me ? I gave the where’s my drink face a couple times. So I asked to speak to a manager and a refund and instead of understanding my point of view she said process the refund and continued making drinks. Okay cool, if the manager who helped me is reading this, the spill on aisle one was accidental :)

Staff needs to be trained. I waited for my name to be called again to complete my 2 drink order. After waiting 15 additional minutes and being there for total of 30 minutes I asked a person behind the counter and I was told to be patient. This lead me to ask for the manager. I was told that the 2 drink was a seasonal drink that wasn’t available. The staff placed the sticker at the pickup display but never announced that the second drink was no longer available. What really upset me was they look at you like you stupid for not seeing the sticker. Drinks are way too overpriced but I accept that. I can’t accept the terrible service. This is not the first time with a terrible service ether.

The coffee was great and the it was decent service...BUT they take forever. I put in my order for three drinks on the mobile app and it took about 30 minutes for them to complete my order. They got my two latte orders and the last one is the one that took the longest and it was a regular coffee. There were other people after me who ordered at the counter and they got their drinks before me. Again, the drinks were great and the workers were nice, but my order took a long time to be completed.

Nice staff, always very busy. Was once charged for something and then they told me they didnt have it in stock so they gave me a 2 dollar gift card as a refund and a few days later they told me it was empty. I asked for the store manager and they told me to try another day... Obviously no one wants to come back to Starbucks to ask for a store manager on a random day about a 2 dollar gift card... It just feels like I was taken advantage of. Not very professional.

Disappointing. The Starbucks experience was meticulously designed, down to the types of foods they serve so as to not disturb the coffee aroma we all enjoy so much. But what we’d consider the most important part, service, is seriously flawed here. There are some shining stars that upkeep the Starbucks name and they should be acknowledged. But it’s really a hit or miss. I’ve spoken with many argumentative employees and my coffee is never consistently made to my asking. I have to make special requests which only add to the probability that I won’t like it. It seems different ppl make it differently. The wait time has been better lately but I’ve waited up to 20 minutes in drive thru and when I get to the window I see no hustle, no bustle. It’s obvious some of these employees take no pride in their place of employment but I won’t speculate as to the reason. I hope it improves. But I’m done paying more for subpar service and an inconsistent product. I tried relaying my concern by phone but the girl was very dismissive of me and didn’t even consider my complaint about the inconsistent quality of their iced coffee. No more money from me, sorry.

Went through drive thru at the Berwyn location as a precaution against Covid 19 and while waiting at window for my drinks was able to see in. There was a man enjoying his drink while standing at counter 2 feet away from pickup drinks and had no mask on! I asked and was told they do not REQUIRE patrons to wear masks inside. Starbucks, I feel is not putting customers safety first and I will not be going to Starbucks anytime soon and will inform friends to avoid them as well. No concern for their patrons.

Fairly predictable service, albeit prices that are just too much for my taste.Over $3.50 for a Caramel Apple Spice, literally 12 oz apple juice steamed with a caramel pump. But the convenience is what gives it 4 stars. They know their market and people like me will always pay for the convenience. The employees are always nice and the drive thru line always moves quickly. I’ll be back again, and I’ll probably happily pay my $3.50 for warm apple juice again.

Most rudest staff ever, the staff member went to the back with my coffee after I told her it wasnt hot enough. When I questioned her on what she added to my coffee she became very irritated and started yelling, creamer. Its creamer and in a condescending way she pointed to the half and half and told me to read. Horrible experience and the cashier is also very rude. I guess I have to go back to my normal location on Madison.

Dont bother ordering thru the app to do in store/curbside pick up. They make you go drive thru to get your drink and the line is ridiculously long every time. Cant even cancel the order because it wont allow me to do so. Ive been waiting 30 minutes and even called the store and told them my drink isnt going to be at the temperature I wanted at this point.

Update 10/22/21: The new staff is much more experienced and service is much more polite and quick. I think there is a new manager so that might be why. Place looks cleaner as well :-)Ditto to some of the other reviewers on here. Service is slow. Employees staring at each other or standing around. Manager reprimanding employees from the customer sitting area. Cashier tells you there is a wait on drinks after you pay.

Horrible! Drive through lady with an attitude i went in at 8:34 am. She messed up the whole order and gave me attitude in front of my family, she didn’t let me talk. I wanted my ordered change right and she kept giving me attitude, it’s not fair to pay that much amount of money since i got a lot of drinks and got the size wrong and instead of cold i got hot coffee so this is a horrible service and horrible drinks.

I ordered a dragon fruit / mango refresher. This location usually has long lines. The wait can be less and more efficient. Never had any big problems. The taste of my drink were ok the pieces of fruit tasted stale.
