My wife & I have been shopping at Farmers Furniture for 4+ years. Every experience we have had has been great. From the sales people (usually Michael), the office staff, & the management (David), everyone has always been polite & respectful. When my wife was diagnosed with cancer they always asked about her & started giving us little reminder calls before the late fee was going to be added just in case we forgot our payment that month. I really appreciated David working with us on our account the Christmas after her diagnosis. We were really struggling but David helped us maintain our credit & make sure our babies had Christmas that year. We were super proud to see that David is now the store owner. Way to go David! Several of our children have had an account with Farmers Furniture at one time or another in the past & they will forever be my go-to furniture, electronics, & appliance store. Keep up the good work guys!

Had a horrible experience at this place. The manager and agents are very rude. I purchased a product from them and it broke within a week. The quality is horrible. The service was horrible. Please find another furniture store.

The service I received from David when I initially came into Farmer’s was very professional and welcoming. He took my name and let me know Micheal would be able to assist me. I left to run some errands and came back hours later and Micheal knew which couches I wanted to look at even though I hadn’t spoken with him yet! The process was quick and easy with more than reasonable prices!

I highly recommend shopping here. The store is extremely clean and smelled nice. I was greeted when I first walked in by the salesman who was helping another customer. The manager came and introduced himself and helped me look at the selection of dining furniture. He was was very knowledge and to the point which I found refreshing after shopping in many other stores that day. The ladies behind the counter were extremely pleasant and helpful. Nice to have such personal service in this day and time. I’ll definitely be back!

This place has nice furniture, but their prices are extremely high. Also, if you purchase anything in there, you have to purchase a warranty too. They include that in their prices, no options.

The worst ever! They call 12x a day! The furniture is overpriced and cheap! Interest is triple! If you can go else where

Didn’t know this store was here. Started to work out at Planet Fitness. I have lived in this area for 10 years and knew this shopping center wasn’t in the best shape. Was concerned that the gym was here but was pleasantly surprised at how clean the parking lot and the store next door looked. Went in after a work out and was immediately impressed by the neatness and the cleanliness of the store. I was looking around and a salesman came and introduced himself. Not pushy as I told him as I was just looking. What impressed me was the way the staff was interacting with the customers in there. I’m assuming they were paying bills but the ladies taking the payments were making small talk and asking about family. A man who I later learned was the manager came out and greeted the customer by name. Another man came out and also came around the counter and asked the customer about a recent house fire. That’s what is missing In most places today. The comforting atmosphere and the feeling that people really care. Didn’t purchase anything but will definitely be back!

I will never ever buy nothing else from Farmers furniture I bought a lift chair had their service people come out and look at it twice its still not fixed and they wont fix it I would not recommend this place to anyone ever

Worst experience of my life. I purchased a TV and it broke within q little over a month. I have had to call multiple times to multiple people and have yet to fix my tv. But rest assured they dipped into my account yet again after a lengthy conversation about the last time I had in person about stopping auto debits with the manager and behold it happened again and its not even my account balance due it is a different number they take from my account and then bc my bank account goes into a negative balance when they do this I have to be charged a 35 fee for that. And they did this again on the weekend(late Saturday Sunday they are closed) where I can not call my bank and cancel it and them. These crooks get you over a barrel then keep you there. They charge you a $200intrest on your bill then the manager also says there is a interest charge daily that occurs. It is a 65 tv and I added an A/C be ccx pause mine just stopped working in the middle of summer.My warning to any customers willing to go here to purchase anything DONT they get your information in the system and charge you whatever they want to then tell you that they can not do a return/revise of payment due to the computer system will mess up? I have worked in credit before that is not the case if I am not being charged right you can most definitely fix the situation and people are allowed to control their accounts and turn off auto debit.

This isn’t your standard review because I haven’t been in the store as of yet. I plan to visit soon. I have just purchased a new cell phone and received a new number. This number was apparently given as a reference on an account they held and after the 2nd message I called the store to tell them it was the wrong number. The man that answered, David(?) I believe was very nice and told me he would remove my number but also told me a little about the store and invited me in to look around. Business school 101!! I was very impressed with him and his phone savvy! Will definitely stop and shop at this store!

Disappointed.... Will harass paying customers about their account that they pay on time. I will no longer go into this store and will also screen shot my receipt for my safety. I do not trust shopping for this company no more. And will not have any other kind of business to do with them after I pay my stuff off.

Someone used me as a reference, hasnt kept the payment up and Farmers Furniture calling me daily like I have they property. DAILY. And get smart with you about asking them to stop calling you. I dont have your property, didnt sign for anything yet your harassing me. Call again, Im suing you. End of discussion.

I went in looking for a bedroom set for my toddler. I was greated by a very sweet sales lady. I didn’t see anything appealing to my eye so I let her talk me into getting a washer and dryer that I needed as well. She was not able to answer all of my questions, and some of her information was wrong. I then was turned over to the manger and he had a totally different approach. He informed me that I was approved for a pretty decent amount and started to fast talk me. He was able to answer all of my questions but he also decided to correct the sales lady on all of her mistakes, while in the middle of my interaction. It made me very uncomfortable. I was asked to pop a ballon for a chance to win a discount. I won 10% off and then they said it didn’t apply to appliances. I then realized I did not want to spend 2k on a washer and dryer when I initially went in for a bed set for my daughter. Very pushy sales.

Was giving a hard time my whole experience ranned my credit an made it as It was an issue because I stayed 45 miles away in Northport al which is Tuscaloosa county, said that I was a liability an needed a down payment because I stayed so far even with good credit an good income when asked why did I need one the manager (DAVID TERRY) told me because it was his choice need I remind u ima 25 year old black guy so off the top I felt discriminated the credit manager said that I had to promise I had to pay in order for them to do business like they had already put in there mind that I wasn’t going to pay them & said if I get furniture I had to keep a card on file “STEROTYPED” the store in Adamsville refused to even sell me anything because of my address as well I would never do any business with none of these stores‼️

I was looking forward to buying furniture from here but after talking to the sales rep & she asked how old I was & she told me that because I looked like I was young I should look at cheaper furniture sets instead of the choice I selected, which was ($1700.00). I have a good job with a great income and I could afford the monthly payments or bought the set out of the store if I wanted too. It doesnt matter if I was 19 or 39 you shouldnt tell someone to pick out something cheap just because of their age.

When you need furniture its a good place to look.

If I cod give them no stars I would. I got a bedroom suite from here. It was so cheap it broke. I called them several times to get it fixed and they just kept blowing me off. Then I finally had to call them a thousand times to tell them they just needed to come get it since they refused to fix it. Well finally they picked it up after 2 months of begging them to come get it. I just check my credit report and guess what. A negative mark against me for Farmers Furniture for Repo the furniture.... What a Joke!!!

Rude workers. Furniture is nice and holds up, pretty good quality and the prices are reasonable. I always try to pay things off early.

Actually has a great selection to choose from and is affordable as well. I disagree with the negative reviews on this truthfully and I do think they genuinely try to help their customers make an intelligent purchase and they are quite honest about their products as any honest business should be.

This is the worst store to shop at the manager David Terry does not care about his customers Are his employees he is rude to everyone including the customer

Went to get a fridge. They tried to give me the floor display after waiting a week to get the NEW one we ordered. They lied about it being the floor display and then all the said was sorry, you can bring it back and that they could order me one for the following Friday AGAIN after the loader guy told us there were no more in their system to order.Awful customer service and ripping people off.

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP HERE. This company ran a credit check on me WITHOUT my permission two days after I visited the place. Showed up on my credit report as a hard inquiry and I am pissed! I will be contacting them today and am prepared to take legal action.
