Hands down Nikita is the best waxer in the Bethesda location. I’ve tried the one in Gaithersburg but I was very dissatisfied. Nikita is super fast and sweet. She makes the whole experience enjoyable.

Unprofessional receptionist! I had appointment at 9am, arrived at 8:50am because the staff told me to arrive 10 minutes before. Instead of welcoming customer, the receptionist immediately told me that we haven’t opened yet (open at 9) and asked me to stand outside. It’s raining winter time, so I asked if I can sit inside to wait. She was on the phone, eating, and told me to be quiet and stand outside. The whole place smells like food at a beauty salon!Anyways, I had great experience with Nikita! She is opposite of the receptionist! Very professional and friendly! I’m 100% sure I’ll come back for Nikita. Very efficient and she tried to ease the pain. Highly recommend her!

Its easy to make schedules bc they are open till 9 pm. Its an expensive service but depends on the who you schedule with would really worth your money. JESSICA is amazing. She is caring and fast. As this can be an unpleasant experience she really makes u feel less awkward.and she is CLEAN. This is a place where cleanliness is a major deal. Highly recommend to schedule with JESSICA.

I live in Europe but was visiting and needed a wax.I’m not sure what European wax means exactly...The wax job was just ok and did not last more than a week. For the high price I do not recommend going here, though the staff was friendly

I’ve been a EWC customer for several years at multiple locations. Cristal is one of the best esthetician’s I’ve ever had! She is very professional, thorough, and always leaves me feeling gorgeous.

Went for the 1st time on Saturday. Made the original appointment via app. Very surprised that when I got there - no one asked me to fill out any paperwork with any information. No one asked if I was allergic to any products which even my nail lady does before she does my eyebrows. Also - my friend referred me there and she wont get the credit because no one asked me anything. Also was interesting that I showed up for my appointment on time, and the previous one still had not shown up. It was 20 minutes past my appointment time before I was taken. I thought I was going to get a boutique experience. I found my waxer to have an attitude especially when I asked her to take a little more off of one eye brow. She stated - well they will be uneven. I said well I would rather them be uneven than have extra hairs under the eyebrow that look like I forgot to pluck a whole spot. They were not shaped at all when I specifically told her how I like them. I literally got so frustrated at the end that I said they were fine and walked out.... to immediately have to drive to my usual nail salon for the lady to fix my eyebrows.I did get a bikini wax and I cant complain about that - but I will not be back. I would rather go to my nail technician who actually acts like she cares.Thanks.

I am new and wanted to try you guys center out so I called to get more information about you guys and when I called I felt rushed with my questions, she put me on hold twice and when she got back on the phone it was like she was annoyed with my questions. I don’t remember who I was talking to because I was put on hold twice and forgot who she said she was, but I can say when she was talking she sounded like her nose was stuffy like she had a cold. I really wanted to try you guys out because I have heard nothing but good things about you and especially Kristen. I hope that with this feed back you guys will treat new guest better.

Absolutely disgusting experience. went to get a bikini wax and the girl was unprofessional. left patches of hair everywhere. and STILL charged me full price of 55$. i wanted to run out of there. i regret wasting my time. absolutely disgusting.

I went to the college park location and was severely disappointed. Both times there, my waxers left quite a bit of hair and also took a long time. Today at the Bethesda location, Kristen took great care of me! She was very efficient and detail-oriented, making sure she wasn’t sacrificing quality for speed. I’m very impressed (and also relieved since i bought the package beforehand and was wondering if it would be worth it given my subpar experiences. I’m glad i came to this location!)

Im a frequent EWC client. Theyve recently opened several new ones in this area. This one is my favorite of the newer ones. The staff is friendly and the waxers are amazing.

UPDATE: I appreciate the manager for reaching out to me to resolve the issue. When I arrived to the studio, the staff were friendly and even moved my appointment up to an earlier time. I’m only giving three stars because the wax was not at all clean. Now I know every single piece of hair will not be removed, but when I see PATCHES of hair left, that is ridiculous. Also, no tweezing was done to try to make the wax look cleaner. I was supposedly given the “best” esthetician. Though she was very friendly, I can’t imagine the work of the others. In all, my experience there was just okay. I won’t be going back to any European Wax Center.I called to inquire about appointment times and pricing. However, whoever answered the phone sounded like I was bothering her and that she was in a rush to talk. She also HUNG UP on me before I could get my next question out; I assume she thought I didn’t have anything else to say? I was already skeptical about coming here, now I really am not giving this business any of my money. Completely unprofessional and very uninpressionable.

Nice place, but the wax specialists are not holding the skin taut enough so some hairs break off without being unrooted. Also, the sales staff is a little too pushy. Not cool.

Deceiving! Me and my daughter were given an appointment for waxing respectively at 7:15 pm and 7:30pm yesterday. When confirming the appointment, they warned that I had to be present during my daughters waxing because she is 15ys old. When we arrived for the check-in they recalled that I had to be present in the room with my daughter because of her age. I was already informed and I agreed. But when the waxer arrived she told us that European Wax Center policy did not permit to wax people of my daughters age. I was shocked! Well, I understand policies and I respect them, but I believe that policies need to be communicated to clients in a clear and time manner. When I argued that I was told by their staff that my daughter could be waxed in my presence, the waxer argued that it was not her responsibility. I will never go again.
