After shopping around for an appropriate solution to my aged ceiling for a room renovation I decided to hang Nickel gap shiplap boards. I checked the big box stores and was quite disappointed in the quality they had to offer. I chose run down to Family Lumber which was very local to see what they recommended. They recommended the Primelinx shadow gap boards which were gesso primed. I required 16 footers to produce no seams for my project. Since I was local enough in same town they threw in free shipping. (No other place would do that!!) I ordered quite a bit and in a few days they called and worked around my schedule, they arrived safe and sound right in the driveway.I hung all my boards and was short by 4”!! I called the store and they managed to order 1 single board and deliver it with no problems. Oh yeah, that’s service!!!When a project calls for quality you need to shop professionally and Family Lumber surpassed my requirements. I will look forward to doing business again for more Nickel gap. Thanks Guys.

The door I ordered and what I received was completely night and day different. False advertising and the men working here werent very nice about it either and very impatient.

My husband and I have been going to Family Lumber since we bought our house 5 years ago. The quality of products are far superior to Lowes and home depot and the level of service is top notch. I can always trust that if we need help figuring something out or suggestions the guys at Family Lumber will be more than happy to help us. Old Rude, Nasty.. Grumpy men. If u are not professional they are not helpful... But the quality of their wood if better than Home Depot or Lowe’s. So if u don’t mind a.....holes then this is the place for you.

Save yourself the aggravation and just go to home depot, sadly youll get more attention from them than this tired old mom and pop store who frankly acts like they are annoyed you even called in the first place.
