From the minute I entered the store and was greeted by Tara, Megan being so helpful on carpet color and styles, Rachel and Kelsey providing me with amazing ideas and options with their sales knowledge, and the manager Danielle making sure I was happy and satisfied. Worst place to work and shop. Horrible management. They expect you to dedicate your entire life to them for $10.00 per hour and pay only every two weeks, and when payday hit my check was NEVER available to me. I had to BEG for MY money that I worked so hard for and already waited two weeks for, and would get half my pay in cash, the rest the next week or cashiers check. My very last check was shorted. Very unprofessional. Co-workers have awful attitudes, and NONE of the bedding or furniture was EVER treated for bugs or germs, the entire time I worked there, and customers were encouraged to lay on beds and sit on the furniture!! Everywhere I looked I saw BUGS as well as ants. One time in particular, a CUSTOMER pointed out carpenter ants to me in the dining section of the store while shopping with me! List goes on. Im glad I am no longer affiliated with this company and I would most definitely NOT recommend shopping or working here.

The sales man lied. I called up inquiring to see if they had a matching washer and gas and dryer in stock, the salesman said he had a couple in my price range said they did. I drove an hour plus to get there only to find out that they might have some mismatched sets apparently in their Cadillac warehouse not a good way to get business to go back, should have just stuck with lowes in the first place

We purchased a sofa (Kelsey was our sales assistant). We had to have our money returned because the sofa we purchased, which was supposedly supposed to be delivered only a couple weeks after we purchased it, didn’t even show an accurate work order. She stated the manufacturer has an issue with updating them and the computer hadn’t even shown if the manufacture accepted the work order. That would have been nice to know before we waited several months in a new house with no furniture.

The store was packed for the Labor Day Sale. Royal was helping us and 2 other customers at the same time. I was very impressed with how well she handled all 3 sales, making certain she gave the time and attention to each of us and going the extra mile to answer all questions. We were undecided about one item and I returned at a later time to make that purchase. The cashier remembered me, my name, what I wanted to purchase, and immediately got Royal back up to the counter. It was an excellent experienced and all our future furniture purchases will definitely be at VanDries.

Marvin (my go to) wasnt there and the other guy tried to pressure me in getting something (ordering) that I told him I couldnt afford @ this time! If Marvin isnt there; I wont stay to talk to anybody else! Sad that Marvin (who I have dealt with for 19 years) is retiring @ the end of 2020! Strange interaction with the woman in charge behind the counter! Ive been to the bad side! What the heck does that statement mean to a loyal customer?

Great place for service. Prices a little high for me but reasonable range. Staff is informative and helpful w/o being pushy....I liked that. Big Rapids store is my favorite staff, making you fell comfortable not pressured, but Cadillac store was professional as well.

Buyer beware. Furniture should last longer than 9 months. VanDrie had to fix the chair springs. Then returned to us with scratched and stripped wooden legs.Asked if i could return the chair and was told no. You would think after all that they would have no problem.Also would not wear booties on new white carpet. Was told by employee that the company was to cheap to buy booties.Will not ever shop at vandrie again or refer them.

After being a loyal customer for over twenty years and spending tens of thousands of dollars there, we will no longer be doing business with Van Dries Home Furnishings. Positively shameful return policy. If you unwittingly purchase a poor quality product and return it, they will charge you hundreds of dollars in bogus fees. Sales people are greedy and will absolutely sell their long term customers up the river for a buck. They do NOT stand by their products or their customers. Buyer beware.

I like to shop hometown and Van Dries give me reason to keep going back. Nice atmosphere, quiet, friendly helpful staff. Quality furniture with competitive prices. They are my go to first stop shopping choice.

The staff and customer service at VanDrie is amazing! This is probably the biggest reason why I have been a repeat customer for years. And they recently, amazed me again. I contacted them with an issue regarding my new sectional and they listened to my concerns, immediately put a plan into action, and sent a representative to my home to check out the situation. As it turned out, I had the cushions in the wrong order and once they were righted, my problem was solved, however, I feel confident in the fact that had it not been that simple Cheyenne, Brenda, and staff would not have rested until I was satisfied with my purchase. Thank you, VanDrie. I will continue to support my local, hometown business. :)

Purchased many items, in the past, most recently bedding, head board and end tables. Had problems with unstable headboard and tried to return and replace. Told by the prickly employee, it was over 30 days and that nothing was wrong with it, and nothing could be done. Will NOT be back, so buyer BEWARE. Hope the $50 profit, does you well Vandries.

Bought nice furniture here. Our furniture was supposed to be delivered today. I called them today and we were told that .....we were not on the delivery route. He called us back and told us they would deliver them by 6pm..its almost 7pm now and im still waiting on furniture to be delivered.Wouldnt be such an issue if we had old furniture to use but we dont!! Norhing more frustrating then eating dinner on the floor. We were disappointed in delivery time not quality or the price of the furniture. UPDATE:: Our furniture did get here that day at about 730pm. The delivery guys were friendly and efficient and set everything up for me.

You get what you pay for. Bought a chair on clearance and it wasnt worth what I paid. Had the chair treated for stain resistant and it should have been done in advance, not when I came to pick it up.

Nice store. I wasnt pressured, didnt barter, ... and paid less than sticker price on a new twin mattress. I will check this place out first when I need home furnishings.
