Didnt help that the service department gave the tech bad info on what was previously done to the bike. They will lead you on, that is when they are willing to actually speak with you

Bought 1999 Goldwing from these guys in 2009. Always return to them for service and repair.This year they come up with a new rule. If your bike is over 10 years old they wont work on it. Got a screw in the rear tire. I was told they will not work on it, too old. No one in billings will woMating is way better than aMating is way better than a one but weMating is way better than a one but we cant doMating is way better than a one but we cant do that oneMating is way better than a one butrk on it. I have to go to milescity, bozeman or great falls. I will never darken their doors again. Funny isnt it? Service department without services. Damn bike was 10 years old when I bought it. NO MENTION OF POLICIES THEN. ZERO rating is better than 1 star but you cant do that here.

Took my jet skis to get tune ups and new batteries paid full retail no complaints. One of the Jet skis did not run right after service. Been trying to get back into the Service Department and they dont value me as a customer. No willingness to work me in and first time I called said it will be 6 weeks and now just called and said it will be two weeks. Montana has a 90 day boating window. Worst apathy I have ever experienced. Pretty obvious they think the customer has no choice and can treat me like a number. Terrible.

Ordered tires from the parts department and was told the tires would be in the following Wednesday (just under a week). I made an appointment with the service department for Thursday (day after the tires come in) to replace them. They wanted 2 hrs to replace both tires which was an additional $200. I expected that and confirmed the appointment. I loaded the bike in the truck and went to drop it off this morning and a Technician comes to speak with me. I told him that the quote was for 2 hours and he said that it was going to be more like 4 hours. I was hoping the incompetent service writer would honor his 2 hours but when I went to speak with him he refused to take blame for this mistake. He told me that he quoted me the 2 hrs if the tires have already been removed from the bike. When we originally spoke I told him that I didnt have the time or the lift to get it done before our trip later in the week. He asked me all the questions about the bike that he would need to know in order remove the tires from this bike. I worked in a shop for years which allows me to understand how this works. First of all it doesnt take 2 hrs to change 2 tires that have already been removed from the bike and it sure as hell doesnt take an additional 2 hrs to remove them. I will not go back and I will not refer anyone to go there.

They were good to deal until the papers were signed for out new pioneer 1000-5 deluxe. After we signed papers we weren’t as important anymore. Told it would be delivered to us right away in the morning and then they couldn’t get it to us till the afternoon. Also upon delivery of our brand new side by side they only put enough gas in it to unload it from the trailer and pull it into my driveway. They told me they would make sure to put gas in it which they did not do.

Zero stars if possible. They are terrible. There is absolutely no timeframe for your boat repair. After not fixing a problem right the first time, the pain of bringing the boat back in and having it just sit there because they have a staff of 2 during the busiest time of the year for them... Calling Eric is like banging your head against the wall. He promised a week from today (6/13/18) to fix the boat. We shall see.Quick update, its 7/6/18 and the boat is still there. Eric sent over tracking information on the part they ordered said it would be here 7/5/18 and the boat would be fixed same day. The part didnt arrive and the boat isnt fixed and ERIC ISNT RESPONDING TO ANY INQUIRIES. They are still dishonest, lying, sales people...they tell you what you want to hear to get you off of their backs and then forget you just as quick.Update, after many conversations and attempts to call their mechanics, one mechanic in particular, MT Honda is claiming the boat is fixed (as of 9/26/18). The mechanic we had been communicating with no longer talks to us, he told us hes just the mechanic now...we assume management has told him not to respond to us, but thats just our assumption. I think weve heard Eric is no longer there, so the turnover at this establishment is still an issue. We have requested copies of warranty information, the manager hasnt produced this yet. He can verbally tell me, but cant produce any copies. We will take the boat out and see if it is truly fixed. The time that has elapsed for this boat repair is horrible, a truly unremarkable experience. Do we take their word for it that the boat is fixed...ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Purchased a bunch of maintenance parts from them. Had a chain breaker that I bought from them break on me. They replaced for free no questions asked and also got the broken chain breaker off my chain. Unfortunate it happened, but they fixed the issue for free. Great customer service.

We had gone to Montana Honda & Marine for the boat repairs for two different boats almost 20 years. For the past two or three years we have given them multiple opportunities to fix a steering issue on our current boat with no success. It was beyond frustrating to pick up the boat to find that the steering issue had not been repaired. This summer we asked them to try yet again and they told us they would no longer work on our boat. Told us that new parts were not available and they would not work on it. They told me they knew what part was needed and gave me the part number. Turned out, after purchasing a used part online, that it was not the correct part for our boat and it also did not turn out to be the problem at all. Reiters Marina fixed our boat first shot with a $10.00 plug that needed replacing. Works fabulous! They also came out to help unhitch and hitch boat to my car which was never offered at Montana Marina. What has happened to customer service and loyalty to long time customers. Shame on you!

Cant get a returned call to save your life, and still have not received our new side x side after a week and a half.Any time you try to order anything the sales rep. Cant give you the correct price and then says you didnt pay for your order even if you have.Had a good friend the worked there for years, can see why he doesnt any more.Was going to buy another side x side, but wont be giving them anymore of our money after we pick up this one.Very disappointed!!!!

I cant even give them one star but if I dont they wont let me post.. Absolutely the worst I have ever been treated in any business anywhere at any time. They charge me $100.00 and told me my Kawasaki 4 wheeler was shot with a blown engine and to just scrap it for parts. Took it elsewhere and it was repaired perfectly with just a new carburetor. Upon me asking for my $100.00 back that they charged for an incorrect and suspiciously motivated assessment I was treated worse than just poorly. I will never darken their doorway again and in my opinion you should not either. They will BS you given a chance.

Took my 4 wheeler there for a diagnosis. Said the carburetor was bad. Said a carb would be around $300, seat $100, other parts $50 labor $400 . Mechanic said i will give you$150 and pay the diagnosis fee of $100. Ordered a carb online for $28.put it in turned fuel on started right up. This is a rip off place for sure.

Needed a tab washer for my boats propeller. I didnt catch his name but the gentleman working in parts on Saturday 8/22 was fantastic. He obviously had to dig through a lot of stuff because it took a little while but he found it. Saved my butt on a Saturday when I had broken the old washer through improper removal.

Purchased a Honda pioneer 700 from Mike Ryan the lying salesman. It was agreed upon at the time of sale that it would be delivered with street legal kit installed and cleaned. He also promised that it would be delivered with 2 keys.It showed up with a rear view mirror that was so cheap and vibrated so badly that it was useless. It was also glued on upside down, and by the amount of glue left around the mount it was unprofessionally installed (within 3 days the mirror fell off).He also said that it was cleaned (another lie). It did look like they hosed it off, but there was still grass on the floor board, and tilt bed. The windows looked like they were done by a 1st grader..I immediately called back, and he refused to come back and complete the job that was agreed upon. Ive never been lied to as much as Mike/Michael did to me. I guess that by complaining about service and agreements that were agreed upon in writing makes me a customer who will never be happy and a customer who Mike wishes will never be a returning customer.He never has to worry about me returning, and I hope that others will stay away as well. I hope that I can save at least one customer from these lying crooks.

Wouldnt recommend- went to buy a Kawasaki and owner refused to honor the price on window sticker which was also the price the salesman had written on his card and given us. Owner said was a mistake on sticker..I would bet he inherited the business - as he could never stay in business with those type of tactics.

When I read some of these positive reviews I think they have to be talking about another dealership. I wouldn’t take my motorcycle there to have the chain lubed. I believe the problem starts from the top and trickles down. The owner James can’t even return a phone call to a disgruntled customer after numerous attempts to contact him and leaving lengthy detailed voicemails as to what the problem and complaints may be. Junior and Cody in service have always been polite and a pleasure to speak to but they seem to have the same problem in regards to getting back to a customer that has valid concerns. This is the second year I have taken my Wake surf boat to them for service. The first year was for winterization and when I took the cover off of my boat the next spring to take it to the lake for the first time I was missing both stern ballast tank panels that measure almost 4 square feet each. They remedied the situation and found me a couple of replacements. Most recently I took the boat in for various mechanical problems and when returning home and removing the cover off of my boat I was in dismay to find yellow stains on the vinyl for my aft lockers and boot footprints all throughout the main flooring area of the boat with grit and dirt everywhere. I had the prop replaced due to damage and when washing the boat once at home I noticed I was also missing a major exhaust muffler that extends from the stern of the boat. I’ve made numerous phone calls trying to contact James the owner and left voicemails all to no avail!!!!!!I will drive twice the distance to service my boat in Kallispell at the authorized service center in the future and would highly recommend anyone having any boating needs to steer clear of Honda Marine of Billings due to an owner that just doesn’t seem to care and has no standards as to how a boat is released and returned to its owner!Thank you James for your prompt response to my review of MHKM, if you only returned phone calls as you do for negative reviews of your business you probably wouldn’t have quite so many negative reviews. I guess myself and everyone else that have had the same things to say about poor communication and phone calls never getting returned all must be delusional and we have just made these things up. You don’t even have accurate information in your response to my review. You said I dropped my boat off on July 10th, I just so happened to be in Belize on vacation with my girlfriend for that entire week, the boat was dropped off the week prior on Saturday July 6th. My batteries were not hooked up backwards or it would have never run for the 7 times we had taken it out prior. The stinger exhaust pipe was on the boat when we dropped it off and if it was a recall why would your service department not have told me this and offered to order the replacement? The dirty boat that was returned to me is easy for any customer to understand and see for themselves if they want to stop by and look at the interior of the brand new Centurion’s you have sitting out front uncovered 24/7. I was considering a new boat from your dealership until I saw 4” of dark red water pooled in the bow walkway on one of your brand new boats that’s valued at $165,000! Get the facts straight before you respond to customers reviews!

I went in there today, planned on buying a 2018 crf450r with cash, no one greeted me, all the staff was on their phones, there was one helpful person at the parts counter. I asked one of the employees hows it going? After he was repeatedly staring at me for a prolonged period of time, he replied pretty good....buddy throwing emphasis on the word buddy to make it derogatory towards my age real snooty like.I will be taking my money over to Yellowstone Motorsports where I used to work in Bozeman, I am a pro rider and buy a new bike every year...wont be back here to visit. 0 stars

Stopped by 4 days ago to ask if this shop could work on a Kawasaki 360 Prairie ATV which wont idle properly. After about 7 min. the front desk person said I would have to talk the service department. I went over to the service desk, which was empty. I waited another 10 minutes and still no one showed up. I just gave up and left. Seems like this is an ongoing issue with other Honda shops too! The one in Hot Springs, AR. isnt any better.

They charged me $67 to change my regular tire with a paddle tire. Thats just taking in the wheel not the entire bike. Hightech is half the price for the same service! Make them give you a quote before you let them touch anything of yours.

After I was wrongfully accused of stealing at Honda and marine the Gm James Winchell tried to fight my dad and was cussing at us and telling us to leave his office after multiple times trying to prove us wrong and then blaming it on a brother of mine when I have no brothers that look like me. They don’t even deserve one star!!!!! I took my boat to fix after I took it to the lake for first time of the year and the engine filled with water. They said it was most likely a head gasket. To be clear, it failed to due the winterizing I did . (If they reply to this they will point that out...I’m not denying that). My boat bogged down under power and quit and milky oil puked out the carburetor. Four days later I was told that “my port side head gasket had failed”. They suggested to replace both head gaskets while they were there. I agreed. Two Weeks’s into this, they finally started to fix....get a call that it is the intake manifold is cracked “but the good news Is the lower end is fine”. After he took off the intake manifold I get another call that “I should come take a look at this engine because of all the sludge, I am not sure if we can get it all out and the corrosion it could have caused”. I called another mechanic and asked them what they would do if there was sludge in the engine due to the intake manifold crack. I failed to mention the engine quitting under full power and oil coming out of carburetor. I should have! He said to do 5 oil changes and only replace the bad head gasket and that will clean it out. That is what I had them do. A month after I took it in I get a call that it did not work and it had a knock in lower end. I went and picked it up ($2400+ later)and contacted another recommended mechanic. I told him exeactly what I told these people over the phone and he said “let me guess a 4.3L mercruiser!?” I said yes and he said “you have a cracked intake manifold don’t you!?” I said yes and he said “the bad news is your engine hydro locked and it is not if it damaged the lower end it what did it damage!” He said it will have to be pulled and overhauled or buy a crate engine. I talked to two mechanics and both said the same thing. Total lack of experience and I got ripped off. No to mention how long it took to even find that out. I will NEVER do business with this business again...EVER! I will not deny I was upset when I picked it up. The owner’s son was rude when asked him why the mechanic did not find the cracked intake manifold in the first place. His reply was “the mechanic said it would. To matter”. No it would not matter for how the end turned out, but it should have been found when he said it was a head gasket. The mechanic told me, when asked about why he did not find it at time he told me it wa the head gasket, “there was too much gunk on the engine at the time”....really!!!!??? So how did he find it was the “port side head gasket!? Finally, and I will stop ranting...the mechanic types at the top of the receipt that he told me to pull the engine because the 12 qts of fluid that he pulled would damage the engine. All he said about the 12 qts was that it put a lot of “sludge” in engine and would be hard to remove. Disclaimer is I am not a mechanic. I have found out a lot after the fact. The owner’s son believed ONLY the mechanic. All he wanted was my money!
