This is a great local hardware store. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and friendly.We really love their large selection of plants during the early spring and we have had really good luck with their Pepper starts for the past 2 years (which are incredibly priced!) their green house always has something fun.They also always seem to have the good stuff, extremely durable canning equipment and kitchen gadgets for the country cook that is difficult to find in the big box stores (marble rolling pins for one). Theyve also always had a good stock of Milorganite, even when the other Hardware Stores (Ace) or even box stores (Wally World) are sold out. You might pay a little more, but the service and quality of the stuff is worth the extra coin.

I love the different varieties of plants that they have in the spring. I purchased a gooseberry plant 2 years ago and it is still doing so great! The staff is very helpful and polite.

I have found the garden plants here to be healthy, reasonably priced and in great variety. I also bought some excellent all-around birdseed and potting mix, also at great prices. Well laid-out, clean, easy to get around, and friendly staff.

They have everything and its so well stacked. First time in here since our move and went in there and was very pleased.

I went in looking for a planter, the salesperson directed me to the planters and helped me find the right one. Cashier was helpful and very up beat friendly too. I will be back for sure.

Great customer service, they are always are eager to help with your purchase, but terrible with customer satisfaction. Tried to bring back bird peanuts that were salted, but couldnt because they were open. How did I know they were salted if I didnt open them.

Gem of a little hardware store! The prices are surprisingly competitive, the selection is very good, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They also have a kitchen section in the back of the store that has probably everything you could think of.

I will drive 2 hours to use this store at any time I need what they carry. Sarah solved a HUGE problem of mine yesterday and found a solution to my location, not just to get me to come to her store. She knew I needed a solution before the stores closed Tue, so our staff could resume working on Wed. She went further out of the box to hit a bulls eye target of a winning idea. Few people have this creative thought. She is beyond awesome. It is humbling to have met her over the phone. Ceiling Anchor bracket SOLVED IN TIME. I told her to tell her parents they did an awesome job, her partner has tremendous taste and is the luckiest partner on earth. Unlike the box stores, Billings Hardware has easy to find, one-on-one, KNOWLEDGEABLE service. It easy to get in and out of, and back to work on your project.

Love the selection, but service is questionable. When served, fabulous but the cashiers aka greeting committee are lacking always. Also when in the store you have to search to get someone to help you.

This place is second only to Harbor freight (because their prices are so dang good).

Excellent, great service, very friendly! I needed a chainsaw tool (wrench/screwdriver in 1) which they didnt have for sale at the time I was there. So the guy that helped me, took me to the back shop room where they service chainsaws and gave me one of theirs for free. Other than not having that 1 thing they gave me for free, its a large hardware store that has about anything youd need. Though the one on broadwater is the one to go to, to buy a chainsaw. I bought an ms391 there and its been excellent!

Grand opening and got good deals. Decent hardware inventory and folks seemed helpful, but not overly informed. Layout is not easy to use and find things.

Though I am newer to Billings, and am adjusting to the move here it’s places like Billings Hardware that make Billings feel more like home (Flathead). Lloyd is a good ole boy that wants nothing more than to make your day! Deklan had a rude customer complaining about using her credit card. The kid handled himself like true professional. Love this place, to the owners and managers great job on your hiring!

Albeit the selection is wonderful,their management may need some work and the employees may have their share of moments that push out alway customers but overall this is a solid hardware store in the Billings area with a neat garden area.

They always have what I need and at reasonable pricing. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Amazing the variety of items that they have. Would recommend them to anyone and will continue to shop here.

Wow. This place has everything. Home goods, kitchen goods, flowers and plants, etc. If you have not been in here visit as you WILL be so surprised. It took my breath away. And... the CS was amazing.

This is a complete hardware store. Wide variety of tools, hardware and supplies for e everything from nuts and bolts to kitchen to laundry to wood working.

The have the best selection in town for canning supplies. I really like their housewares department because there is all kinds of unique items and reasonably priced!

I dont have too many hardware needs, so I dont go here too often, but when I do need something they usually have it. The store is only a few blocks from my house, so the location is very convenient. For a small, locally owned store, their prices are quite competitive. The new garden center is a great addition and they have a good selection. For people on the west end (especially northwest), this is a great alternative to driving all the way to the big stores on King Ave. Give em a try!

Great local store with a wide selection. Prices are a bit steep however, and they will not price match. Id like to buy local but in the case of more expensive items like a 10 inch Makita miter saw, Home Depot and Amazon Tools are nearly $100 less.

They have a good selection of every day fix it things as well as the odd household gadget.
