Ordered some shirts online. Picked them up in store a couple days later

Fun store, good specials. Even though people call it weird we enjoy its eclectic nature in pop culture items.

Customer service was great until I hesitated on giving my email because I didnt know if mine still worked. That was when the sales worker began to become irritated and stated that it was a yes or no question in a dissatisfied way. He than said in a irritated voice I hate it when people dont give out their emails... every place has a loyalty program. I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected! Ive always love the sales workers at Hot Topic in the past, so my experience today was very disappointing!

While the service is good, the selection leaves much to be desired. Im certain Ive seen the exact same 4 or so series(Naruto, Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia and Dragon Ball Super being the most overexposed series) in the Anime section for the past year. Sometimes its even the same T-shirts from a year ago. While theres a suggestion board for asking for specific series merchandise, its almost like its ignored or no effort was made to get them for the physical or online store. The manager(the guy with the dreadlocks like other reviews have said) even sounded passively aggressive when I just wanted to know if anything could be suggested since the suggestion board only mentioned Band merchandise. If they arent going to update their selection...like...at all...unless its something everyone is raving about...Id rather just use Redbubble for T-shirts.

The manager is very rude every time I enter the store. Ive stopped going because he is intimidating and rude. I use to love this store but unfortunately dont due to the manager here

Today was my first time shopping there and I am furious. The man with the dreads was EXTREMELY rude and now I don’t think I will return. I was looking at sizes and he repeatedly told us not to waste his time and make his job harder when the only shirts we were pulling out were ones we planned on buying. My brother also asked him a few questions, one of them being where is the bathroom and can you unlock the trying room so I can try on a shirt? To which he replied “I am not here for your entertainment” and when my friend asked him about the promotional sale he said I literally just told your friend and the girl behind her weren’t you listening? and she said no I was trying to find clothes and he answered I can tell, you obviously weren’t listening but you should be glad I even mentioned the promotion even though now you’re just going to waste extra time finding a free shirt. I spent nearly $200 there and I was treated like a waste of his time. The products are great but I will not be returning to this store and if I do buy anything else from hot topic it will be online. And as someone who works in customer service, I am extremely disappointed because I would never treat a customer this way especially when they are the only people in the store.

1st time in there..worst manager Ive ever seen! Guy w dreads was so rude and literally yelled at me for asking about a price! Spencer customer 100 percent until now!

Always very friendly, great products, good prices and carry good merchandise.

Definitely my favorite store. Please never move!!
