Oasis is a gem of Blacksburg. Oasis has an incredible variety of international food you wont find anywhere else in Blacksburg or Christiansburg. Prices are fair to good, the store is always clean, service always fast and courteous, and rarely are they out of stock of anything.

Some products are seen but prices are very high, price should be reduced while others shop sells at lower prices.

The store is quite the find!If world foods are what you crave this small store is very well stocked indeed. Much of the inventory is Asian foods, but they also have lots of hard to find brands from all over the globe.As well as packaged, they have an extensive fresh and frozen section.

I got some dough (yogurt drinks) from this store and later found out that they were all expired days before I bought them. Also, most stuff are so expensive in this store compared to other grocery stores.

This place has everything you could want. Its clearly a world market. The variety of produce is amazing. They have just about every type of meat you can think of. Tons of sauces and spices from all over. Great beer selection and lots of interesting snacks. Almost guaranteed to see something that you never have before.

Great store for Asian food, ingredients, cookies, drinks, and more. You can buy fresh vegetables, several kinds of rice (in bulk so safe money), canned food, spices (dry, frozen, and fresh), and do check the cookie aisle. There are foreign wines, beers, chocolates as well. Friendly owner, always helpful, friendly staff, clean store. One regret must be mentioned: I wish they sold more Indonesian spices.

The selection is good, and the produce is different than what you can find in the store across the street. I love that I can find fresh seafood, less common cuts of meat, and all the spices I could ever desire for a great price here. One of my favorite shops to explore and try new things.

Oasis is a treasure of an international grocery store. I can almost always count on them when I run across an exotic ingredient in an asian recipe Im trying for the first time. And that goes for quality exotic fresh produce as well as canned, frozen and dried ingredients.

This is a fantastic place to purchase Asian and other ethnic ingredients. Prices are somewhat higher than a name brand supermarket for typical American staples, but if you cook diverse dishes like we do its an amazing place! Be sure to try the drinks and snacks. :-)

Every time I visit my folks (I am traveling from Texas) I make it a point to visit Oasis.Seriously, an eclectic mix of everything. Well curated, high quality selection.I loaded up on salt-cured black olives from Morocco, as well as 20 lbs of other misc flavors.Highly recommend.

Lots of Korean delicacy! They sell frozen meat, fish. vegetables. Korean, Japanese and Chinese snacks, food and spices. Not so much on Filipino food but they do have some like dipping sauces, soy sauce, noodles, sardines, canned vegetables. Don’t forget to bring your mask during this pandemic! They require them :)

I love Oasis World Market. Its a great place to buy spices and many other foods. My son LOVES buying new sorts of treats, snacks, and incense. They also have a really good beer selection.

The variety here is very wide! Kinder bars and Turkish delight are my favorite, and I can get them both here! They are requiring people to wear masks, which is very good.

This is a very good ethnic grocery store. The selections are especially good for Chinese groceries: fresh vegetables, dried goods, meats, even some Chinese medicine. Highly recommend.

Im so happy for the selection of Asian and some Mediterranean, and Caribbean foodstuffs they carry, and very reasonably priced. With the exception of my beloved Cambodian fried rice cakes, and fried chicken skin for snacks, Im making this my go to Asian market.

Great place to shop for various international foods.

As an international student, I heavily rely on this place for spices and other ingredients that are not available in other stores in this area. They are a little expensive than the other grocery stores around here. However, the staffs are very helpful. I recommend this place for the stuffs that you cannot buy in other stores in Blacksburg.P. S. They refill the store every Thursday.

Also Indian pickles, papads, Indian branded biscuts.Indian vegetables. Also large variety of cut raw frozen indian vegetables. Like karela, tendli, methi leaves, padbal etc.Must for Indian students in Blacksburg.

The market is clean and has a great variety of spices that I use for cooking. Prices are a bit higher than what youd pay in the city though.

All I can say is reasonably priced exotic foreign foods (and a good place to get seafood). All types.of fruits, tea, and seafood you really cant find elsewhere. My friend bought an octopus and cooked it. Ive seen live blue crab, some of which might have been illegally caught. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt tho (but as someone who has gone crabbing at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay there were definitely a few undersized females).

This place is quite aptly named. What a refreshing place to be. They truly have foods and spices to cover essentially all major cuisines around the world, and at a great price. Competent selections, great staff, and affordable pricing.

I go here to get those items that arent carried at the regular grocery stores. The staff is always helpful.

If youre looking to cook your own meals, Oasis has more in stock than youd expect for a smaller store. Their produce is usually top notch in terms of flavor and their prices are great. Youll save a significant amount of money buying food here instead of Kroger.

Love the variety of this store. Imported beer and wine, exotic foods from all over the world, local and imported produce, and a minagerie of other goods. Really something to at least stop by and experience if you havent !

First time I have shopped here today and Im extremely happy. Had everything I needed and wanted! Finally got stocked up on curry mixes and ramen ingredients.

Pricey, but a good selection of East and South Asian food and drink.

The only place on Blacksburg to find Indian food items like parathas, chapati, samosa, paneer, Mirchi, etc. A bit expensive but its the only thing available.

The staff is friendly and very helpful, they are always happy to answer questions or help you find something specific that youre looking for. They also have a unique selection of beer from across the world. Id highly recommend!

For now its the only Asian market around in Blacksburg. Has a decent selection of Chinese and Indian stuffs. Place is pretty clean, staffs are friendly and polite.

I own and operate several restaurants and a catering company, we shop Oasis World Market for many ingredients that we cant get anywhere else, the owners are knowledgeable, helpful, and always wiling to go the extra mile to help us out. largest selection of fresh Euro-Asian vegetables/mushrooms, herbs (much grown local), authentic world products, fresh/frozen seafood, local meats including rabbit, lamb, variety meats. Not only such large selections but the best pricing on everything. As nice a World Grocery Store as found in any large cosmopolitan city.

The imported beer selection is great, and the beer prices are good. The rest of the store is kind of pricey, but you can find a lot of stuff here you cant find other places. Great selection of Asian vegetables, Korean items, crunchy snacks, seafood and Halal meats. Its a lot of fun to dig around and find new things to try out. Also a good selection of candy from around the world.

Oasis has some of the best in international shopping available in the area. I particularly enjoy their tea products. I purchase Black Lichee by Golden Sail frequently and its some of the best tea I have ever tasted. There are many other international products that I have tried in this shop and love. Whether you just want to familiarize yourself with ethnic cooking and try something new or feed your international family foods they know and love from their homeland, this place is great!The staff at this establishment are always available to help you with food items and uses if you dont know what you are buying. They have a nice selection of fresh veggies as well.

I absolutely love going to Oasis. I live about 2 hours away and I always make a point of stopping by when Im in the area, they have a great selection of International Foods as well as fresh and frozen products and produce. A definite must go if a lover of Asian food.

Im not from the area, so this market is a fun change of pace for me. Its nice seeing some of the foods I dont have access to in my smaller town. I do not know how it compares to other places in the area though.

This is a great international grocery store. Halal and Kosher meats are available some rather exotic fresh vegetables you wont find at Kroger, the best noodle variety around and lot of imported frozen items, local Microbrews including Meade. Dinnerware and cooking utensils and small appliances and international over the counter medicines.

I love this place for the variety of imported good! They offer a wide selection of anything from out of this country. Its a good place to rare items you cant find in your local stores. I highly recommend this store!

Hard to find delicacies from all over the place. Great produce and unique selection of seafood plus fresh tofu.

Helpful and cordial staff, and the offer Strange Co. coffee for sale as a bonus. Im a fan of Asian style cooking, and they have just about everything I need. Get there on the right days for great seafood and some mutton (Tuesdays I believe).

Not sure about how it compares to urban ethnic markets, but for our area this store is unmatched with its selection, so much so that I bought a Chinese cookbook just so I could know what to do with many of the ingredients here. Prices can be high for some items, but others are reasonable. This is where I buy my rice bags now, its hard to beat the efficiency of a 25lb bag of sushi rice. Also a good place to buy saké. Worth a visit just to look around.

I drive an hour to visit these guys, and its worth the trip. They have all kinds of steamed buns, drinks, teas, you name it they have it. If your missing the Asian market take the trip its so worth it

Love this store, very wide selection of international food largely east Asian, middle eastern, South Asian, asian Pacific and some others. They even have a lot of nice local honey, jam, and produce. Nice tea choices too. Good place to get gifts for a foodie friend for sure

This is a well stocked food store providing ingredients from the Asia, India, and Middle Eastern areas of the world as well as local fresh produce. Inside there are also a small stand selling locally roasted coffees from small growers, and a section of cooking supplies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the store is clean
