Use to be better. Grocery pickup service is terrible since they switched to themselves instead of using the instacart - items forgotten. Items wrong. Careless. So many groceries never in stock at this location. It’s a shame

The hot Deli was really the only good thing about stopping at a Cub. However, their latest price change and self serve model makes it the absolute last choice to get food.First of all, this is not the time to change things up and have everyone and their cousin serving themselves and touching the deli utensils.Second of all, $7.99 for one pound of potato wedges? That is insane! It was pushing it even when it was at $3.99 a pound.Needless to say, caness is now our primary stop for chicken and potatoes.

I was charged 2 times for one item by an employee named Nikotah. When I said something about it he just looked at me like a deer in the headlights. He didn’t even speak. So I said something again and he started playing with his hair but again said nothing. So I asked for a manager which he replied that’s me. So I said can I get a refund for this? And he had to get someone to help. Cub really? You appoint someone who has no idea what they are doing as a manager? The people skills on this kid are awful!

They must be remodeling. Inventory on many items throughout the store was completely out. And the store felt old. This was my first visit. Maybe I will go back too see if its any better in a couple months.

I just went to get a few things. It looks like Cub must be allowing no masks. My cashier did not have one as well as other customers. I have been vaccinated but how do I know that the cashier or customer have. I will choose to wear a mask out of caution. Hope this is the right move for a company like Cub.

I don’t come to this location often, but I’ve never had a bad experience that I can remember. Sometimes what’s in stock can be hit or miss (dry shelves at times), but I mostly wanted to write the review because an employee here a week or two ago came out to my car to give me my cash back that I forgot at the self service station. Thank you so much!

Don’t work here! In my experience customers at cub foods are more demanding and WORSE than customers at Walmart. And the management of this particular store is horrible.

This store has a large variety of food. They have healthy food junk food and regular food. All of the food you could imagine. It is smaller then fresh and natural and I have heard that fresh and natural is better. But I like cub foods better because it makes me feel like I am eating healthy. They really rock that healthy vibe. I havent been at the deli but I have heard it is good stuff.

I have been going to this Cub Foods location for years. They are easy to get to since it is located just off highway 65. This Cub Foods has never been out of stock on what I am looking for. I hardly ever have a long wait at the checkout even though I go to a regular lane instead of self checkout. This location also sanitizes the register after each customer so I know it is safe. The price is always low and they have a rewards program. You are also able to get a coupon for gas based on how much you spend. I recommend this Cub Foods if you need groceries.

Helpful Meat Department that will consider special requests!

While I would love to describe all the things you can get at Cub, you probably dont care. You have a Cub near you, and you know what a grocery store is. Staff here is generally friendly, and I would give them a solid B+ for keeping things going the past few months. No glaring offenses, but again, nothing spectacular either. More or less, I come here because of the variety, but dont shop here nearly as much as Aldi because of the price. Expect to pay an average of 40% more than Aldi. Its pretty amazing how low monthly grocery budget since Ive been doing most of my shopping at Aldi.

They charge high prices for items that can be had for much less at Wal-Mart or Aldi, AND YOU HAVE TO BAG YOUR OWN GROCERIES??? The only nice things about CUB is its open 24hrs, and has a better selection than Aldi or Wal-Mart. PLEASE BRING WINCO HERE!

Usually an employee smoking right by the front doors and the bakery is pretty good at over baking everything .

Shelves are well stocked, employees are always nice. Wish the produce section was better stocked with good produce instead of bruised, rotten or way under ripe produce.

I shop for groceries almost exclusively here only because its so close to home. Id probably shop for groceries here no matter who was here just because of the location. Im still giving this specific Cub 4 stars because its easy to get in and out of, easy to find what I need, and for the most part checking out is a breeze - but then again I try to avoid going here when I know its going to be busy. The two things I like the most about this Cub is their fried chicken (always delicious) and their bakery. They have the best bakery buns and donuts in town hands down!!

Old store that could use some updating. Some areas of the store look unkept and messy. They started to do a better job of keeping the self checkout machines up and running. They also rearranged the deli area display and now it looks much cleaner and neater. The shopping carts here are so old and clunky it will make you crazy just pushing one around the store. Soon there will be a Hy-Vee moving into my area, that will be a refreshing change. Nothing here has changed in a years time. Their prices are so high for such a junky and unkept looking store you would think they would put something back into it.

My boyfriend was accused of stealing buy 3 older white women and 1 white male when he was simply buying light bulbs. The people who worked here pulled him to the side and asked to put his name down when he was innocent one in the situation. Unexceptionable and disgusting of the ignorance.

Good Cub thats set up like the others so you come in with some familiarity, and the employees are helpful and nice.Two people not wearing masks though.

The deli is good but the cashier didnt wipe down belt before I put my groceries on.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to Darryl (could have been Darrin) as he politely and professionally asked a woman to leave the store with her pet dog. She was holding her dog in the delli section when I walked past it with my service dog and it began growling at my dog. Another worker from the delli found a manager and they were professional and handled the situation perfectly. Thank you so much for making my shopping experience amazing by knowing the law!

Dont shop here much any more but every time I go in I remember why. Only 2 out of 5 tills open and 3 of the 4 self checkouts were flashing. You could not have gotten a hello, thank you, or anything other than a sullen expression from our cashier, Josh, if you bribed the kid. Yikes!

Good selection of food. Seems to be the only place that can keep the shelves stocked.

Not bad for a major grocery chain. Even their off brands are good. It Is my go store for good prices and quality foods.

I love shopping at this Cub. Not only are the Employees great, but it is super convenient for grabbing something to eat on my way to work. I love stopping at the Deli. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is because, while I love the variety of premade salads they offer. A lot of the salads look really old, and dried out. In fact it seems that, while the case is properly cooled, many of the salads sit, uncovered, for several days.

Got what I wanted, meat counter service was great. Otherwise, typical. But why put the chips on the other side of the pet supplies? I didnt want anything in the pet/paper/personal space.

Going through some kind of reorganizing where what little they have is now located differently.

Teach your employees to fix problems with your devices instead of accusing customers.Today, I went to the store and scanned my first item at the self checkout machine and I heard a beep and the screen showed the item but when I tried to scan the second item, it says Remove the item before continue, WHAT??!!! so the cashier came and said I had to scan the item!!!!!!!!No, this is not the way to treat customers, you can not accuse a customer because of your machine failure.

Went there on a Saturday morning at 9am. They didnt have any deli meat at the counter. The meat dept didnt have any meat in their meat counter case.

If you have a bad experience with produce, they replace it for free if you simply bring it to their attention. I have liked this store a lot, but the prices are beginning to rise higher than even Target or Whole Foods prices, including on some produce items and specialized Gluten-free free and dairy-free products. Regular groceries are cheaper at Walmart now. I find this sad because I liked the convenience of shopping at just one store and I find the people who work here to be friendly and helpful.

CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES!!! There is NO excuse for over 2 weeks past expiration dates on dairy. Comes down to someone not doing their job

This is a great grocery store.

This store is okay. Buyer beware that this cubs has a lot of expired items dont be surprised that if you grab the first or second item off the shelf its not only expired but over two year expired. This store, I am not sure about other stores, DOES NOT rotate their merchandise on the shelf. For example isle 8 dry fruit section, selected gum at the cash registers and of course some of the pharmacy products such as vitamins. Not sure if this store ever gets inspected for selling their customers expired stuff. I definitely dont recommend this store.

Great customer service. I had a faulty order through Instacart, which I realize was not the fault of Cub, but the manager there replaced all items for no charge. Ive been a customer here for 15 years and have always had a positive experience.

My 5yo son tells his teacher this cubs is his favorite because of the fried chicken. The quality of the donuts are much better than other cubs food locations.

I picked up a script. For how busy it was, everyone was quite patient.

Decent produce selection, but lacking some specialty items. Lines are usually 1 - 2 people deep. Meat department is quite good.

Cub needs to step up their game. I hate shopping here the produce is sub par not very quality meat, lacking in variety the seafood department is virtually non existent. Not much for organic food. Its a great store to shop at if youre looking to eat things out of a box.

I would like to start by saying that the employees there are all very nice. That being said, when the produce you are selling is not only more expensive but far less quality than the produce you can get down the road at ALDI, then something is terribly wrong. Whoever is in charge of the produce department needs to do a better job or HyVee is going to dominate this area when its built. Same goes for this Cubs deli department. Thank you

An employee, Brittany, really went the extra mile for me tonight. My card kept coming up declined and I wasnt sure why. I took out my phone to check what the issue was but, lo and behold, I had no battery left. I thought for sure I was SOL and would be going home with no groceries, but she actually offered to download the Wells Fargo app onto her personal phone and let me use it. Might seem like a small gesture but it really meant a lot to me, and we were able to get the issue resolved and complete my purchase. This isnt my usual grocery store but I will definitely be coming back. Things like this mean more to me than pricing or selection.

They really should have somebody that can write on cakes in the morning hours. Had them redo it twice and it still look like a second grader did it in colors but didnt even match the cake .very disappointed!!

Before work I walked into a Cub foods store. My place of employment and Cub connect with a couple of stores in between. (Separate entrance and exits, we just share walls).I walked into the store to withdraw some cash and see if they had a case of Sanpellegrino. Its a sparkling water. I just wanted a case.I walk into the store and I see that the ATM is broken- not a big deal. I browse around and I find the case of the drink I want. I picked it up and weighed it in my hands. I decided that it was too heavy to put inside my backpack. Maybe Ill come back after work if I change my mind. As I walk towards the door, I try to dig my phone out to check the time. I struggled a little bit. I discover that I have ample time left. I go into the bathroom and I take my time. Why did it take me so long? Women get periods is all I can say.I exit the bathroom after an employee walks in washes her hands, leaves, and then comes back to use the same stall that I used. Weird.Fast forward. Im at work and a lady from Cub walks in. I saw hello and get back to what I was working on.20 mins later Im called into the main office. Cub Foods sent an employee to my place of employment to accuse me of stealing an item and asked my managers to pull me aside, question me, and check the inside of my backpack. They demanded a call back.I have never been more embarrassed or mortified in my entire life. I should mention that if I didnt have my work shirt on, this wouldnt have happened.What right does this Cub foods have to make my managers investigate me during my work hours? I cried during my break because I have never been accused of stealing or even lying to management.Multiple entities can expect a phone call. I am brave and I dont deserve to be treated like this. My managers will never look at me the same way and this will haunt me.

The handicap parking is awful! Not near the doors and not enough spaces. The girl in self checkout needs to learn some customer service skills. Please teach her.

This place is a joke! Theres never enough registers open and now 2 of the 4 self checkout registers are closed. Avoid at all costs, unless you have an extra half hour to kill trying to pay for your food.

I shop at the blaine cub foods weekly. I understand produce goes bad and employees dont catch it all the time. But I was making 100 egg rolls and needed nappa cabbage. Well the stuff on the shelf was full of brown spots. So I asked the produce employee Steve if he had any more in the back because this stuff was brown. He looks at me and says, I hear your negativity I will go look he comes out with a cart of worse looking stuff and says here you go. And walks away. As he walks away I thank him. He just kept walking. I never been talked to so rudely by a cub employee as him. I will be taking my 300 weekly grocery shopping else where! I work retail also. If your having a bad day you suck it up and be courteous to your customers even if you dont like something about them.
