The hot Deli was really the only good thing about stopping at a Cub. However, their latest price change and self serve model makes it the absolute last choice to get food.First of all, this is not the time to change things up and have everyone and their cousin serving themselves and touching the deli utensils.Second of all, $7.99 for one pound of potato wedges? That is insane! It was pushing it even when it was at $3.99 a pound.Needless to say, caness is now our primary stop for chicken and potatoes.

They dont clean the self checkout and theres this weird chick in the front who has long braids who litterly stares at people to much & gives me a death stare from the moment I walk in the door 4 what ? bad customer service makes me and others I know who have experienced this from that same individual not shop here.

Just remodeled with new barista area, a beautiful floral department and cafe sitting area. The bakery and deli are awesome as well, always an abundant supply. A great upgrade for cub.

Cannot shop here anymore after seeing their lack of respect for customer and employee health in this pandemic. Employees need to be notified if there is a case and allowed proper time and compensation to quarantine. Hundreds of thousands of people have died and yet they still aren’t enforcing that customers wear masks.

It makes me incredibly sad to say that this Cub Foods has been handling COVID-19 HORRENDOUSLY! I want to feel safe when I shop here and I do not want to feel as though my risk for contracting a DEADLY virus is as low as possible. The company refuses to make it a policy to tell customers to wear a mask, a basic necessity in this day and age. They do not inform their employees of confirmed positive cases and refuse to close for sanitation after NUMEROUS confirmed COVID-19 Positive results. This is disgusting. Do better Cub. I will be buying my groceries elsewhere, specifically costco, they have a MUCH better COVID-19 procedure.

This is the worst Cubs that I have been too. The two individuals who worked in the Deli looked like they did not want to serve me. I was not greeted by any individuals. One of the individuals mixed up my order and instead of fixing it got someone else to do it. I was not told sorry for the inconvenience or thank you. I will not be coming back to this store.

This is most definitely an unsafe establishment in regards to how they are treating the COVID-19 pandemic. They do not enforce masks, and employees are not notified when a coworker tests positive. This store does not care about your safety, and has REFUSED TO CLOSE FOR SANITATION WITH 8 CONFIRMED CASES. Do NOT put yourself and loved ones at risk by shopping here

I dont normally write reviews, but this is for the caribou located inside. I ordered a Vanilla High Rise Cooler and I saw hair inside of the lid. I asked the cashier if I could get a new one. She said yeah, but she poured my old drink into a new cup. I should have got another coffee, not another cup. I understand that its to prevent waste, but there was hair in my coffee!

Cub is great. Open 24/7 which is great when you work 3rd shift. Deli chicken is outstanding. Good selection, decent prices for the most part. Pharmacy is great. Knowledgeable friendly staff.

Im not 1 to make reviews but I was just at cub and to my disgust they were not wiping down the self checkout after every customer not even after every 3rd or 4th that had used the register!!! When I asked why they were not wiping them after every customer their response was we dont do it when its busy!!! Are you kidding me it was not even busy for starters and if someone cant be patient for their own health then thats their issue! Get with it Cub Im not getting sick cause your employees are LAZY!!

We shop at this CUB all the time. We picked up fried chicken at the deli today, July 4th, 2019. Please change the oil that you cook the chicken in! It tasted like it had been fried in oil that should have been changed. We have purchased the deli fried chicken before and it has always been good. It didnt taste good today, and we couldnt eat it. We threw it away.

Produce dept. and bakery are excellent. The rest of the store is as expected. They also have a wonderful selection of flowers. Definitely the place to go for beautiful flowers without costing a fortune.

The groceries are fine. Bakery goods are fresh and tasty. The thing I don’t like is the fresh produce. They remodeled and it looks fancy, but the quality is not up to par. I much prefer the Cub Foods just north of 694 in Fridley.

My only place to shop since they started as a warehouse operation where you marked price on product with a red marking pencil! Hope HyVee doesnt put them out of business. Right now trouble is not enough cashiers as they expect customers to self check out. Thats fine but if you have $100 plus in groceries not good.

I have shopped this Cub for years and have always been very happy with the prices the quality and the exceptional staff working there. However since the remodel they have limited their selection a varieties of certain items which some are those that I have always purchased. Im getting very tired of going here and theyre out of this theyre out of that which means I have to go someplace else to purchase the items. Sorry to say but they are going downhill quick and Im looking forward to HyVee opening so that I can find myself a new grocery store

There is a problem when the cashiers won’t give people who need extra time to bag their groceries before they send through another customer’s items. It is rude and not very understanding of customers who for whatever reason cannot do this as fast as other people. There are various reasons some people need extra time. I guess the bottom line for Cub is the dollar and not loyal customers. Maybe Hyvee treats customers better. We will see!

They remodelled recently and it looks very nice. Most of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Open 24 hours so it is convenient. 4 stars only for the fact that on more than one occasion I have been hassled by loitering people late at night digging through the garbage. They felt the need to stop me and ramble about God knows what!

Not all staff were wearing face masks properly. It does not help to wear a mask when your nose is NOT covered and talking to people. I witnessed this on Monday June 15. Also, the cashier did not disinfect between customers and they were not busy. Not following their own policy is not good business.

Been going to this one for years, nice to do banking and shopping same place (If youre TCF customer). Almosy always find what I went for, and then some.Price on kitty litter comparable or better than the other big store/grocery store. Matters if you are caring for a handful of furry friends.

Dan B is possiblity the worst cashier I have ever had. Anywhere. Didnt say a single word, no hi, your total is..., or thank you. Nor smile. I suggest having Dan B. being a cart collector, or somewhere else he doesnt interact with guests.

Have been a loyal customer for years. But more and more lately Im overcharged. The register doesnt give the sale price listed on the shelf or in the add. When I point it out they apologize and fix it. 99% of the time the mistake is in Cubs favor which makes you wonder how accidental it is. Now I have to check my receipt every time as I no longer trust them... 10/18/20 Still happening way too often.

I bought roma tomatoes. They were fresh and juicy. I am enjoying them. This Cub stores layout was very easy to find things. There is a TCF ATM in this Cub. I used that as well it worked smoothly and didnt charge me any fees for using it as I have a TCF ATM card Im not sure how much the fees would be if I used a different ATM card from another bank.

CARIBOU- the caribou inside is rude walks away as you’re ordering. The lady sneezed multiple times making my drinks and did not wash her hands or anything, it was not busy so it isn’t like she didn’t have time. Also it would probably be smart to let the customers know your sizing is completely different. Because I have managed a caribou before and was very upset to get a medium when I ordered a large. The excuse was “we’re not an actual caribou so things are different” but that doesn’t explain why in the world your stack of “large” cups are the same size as your stack of medium cups next to it. Waste of my money for rude service, drinks that have been sneezed in, and that are the wrong size. As a former manager of a caribou I’m disgusted even though it’s “not an actual caribou”.

I like your store a lot...but there is one employee there that in my opinion should not be in contact with your customer base. I would ignore one bad experience, but not multiple experiences. So I need to get this out there. Today (08/20/17) at approx. 10:00 a.m. I shopped for groceries at your 585-Northtown store location. Once again I was in a check-out lane where Melissa B. (heavy set woman with glasses and thining hair) was the cashier. I said, good morning with a smile, her reply...you got a Cub Card?. When my items were totaled up I looked at the total on the screen before writing the amount on my check. She snapped out the total, its $####.##!!. I just glanced at the screen to verify, I was not questioning her, but she seemed to think I had insulted her by looking. She seemed very unhappy to be there and wanted everyone to know it. This is not the first time Ive had to deal with her bad attitude. She was also quite rude and abrupt with the gentleman in front of me. I should have changed check-out lanes but the other lines were longer...I wonder why...hmmmm. Going forward I will wait in a line 10 customers deep in order to avoid her toxic attitude. Please transfer her to a position where she is not in direct contact with your customers. You will undoubtedly make more customers than just me very happy.

Im giving this store a 3 star because its gone through the most pointless remodels Ive ever seen! I see theyre trying to keep up with Hy-Vee but come on, literally nothing changed except the locations and prices, thats frustrating! Ive also noticed that the stocking of the produce and other various goods is very sub par, theres been times I said screw it and went to Walmart, you can read my review on that store!

Arturro is on power trip. been patron since cub has existed and been in many locations but today drove me nuts. They have seating area with tv in northtown store. Ive had my shaver plugged into the bench where the wall plug ins are for the computer that are on the wall. there are seats to sit on and he came and said shaver is health code violation and that is where people put food, i showed him the seats and wall plug ins and they are for computers not food benches. there are no signs designating those as places to sit.I asked if he was manager and he said yes. No matter what hes saying, this is common sence and anybody using this area that is reasonably smart can see how those wall sockets and bench are setup for computers or plug in any other device. I said your not going to say anything that will change me moving that shaver until its charged and you are on a power trip over a shaver which before it was sitting on that counter was washed off in the bathroom at cub when i got there. im a very smart person and just wouldnt leave a dirty shaver on a counter. have good day buddy.New addition to review. Cub man in store that didnt say who he was and seen temporarily homeless guy sitting in their new seating area eating a frozen meal that was heated in the caribou coffee microwave that this is health CODE violation.Where is a guy suppose to eat when doesnt have kitchen to cook...gee how petty over microwaves use. why isnt there sign posted saying what law covers that.If thats the case then why do gas stations have frozen food meals and microwaves to heat food?

Worst cub ever! Half the selection of a normal cub and the worst service ever! I came in at 9:05pm and asked the lady for 2 kabobs, she tells me the meet section closed at 9, it would have taken her two seconds to grab them, they were right in front of me but she was to lazy to even pretend to be helpful! Due to the construction/refurbishment, I couldnt get to the ladies room until I had been around the entire perimeter of the store and had only a few more items on my list, and I still had to ask an employee to show me where it was. I didnt catch his name, but he was TOTALLY AWESOME for taking me right to the door. There was no longer a sign on the wall above the dark nook you had to get into to see the gentlemens and ladies rooms doors. And I had to be dropped off at the stores exit because I ALREADY had to go like a racehorse! This was a real emergency, and he saved me like the knight in shining armor who saved the damsel in Camelot. I met my friend by the checkouts, and because she REALLY had to leave to go help someone else, I had to check-out without finding a few items I still needed, but I can live without those new items for another week. All the CUB associates were AWESOME. The only real problems were the narrow, single-file space to get from the entrance to the restrooms, and the lack of clear, obvious signage to mark the restrooms.
