Truly a hidden gem!!Great coffee βοΈ we had an oat milk latte, oat milk chai, and hot chocolates and they were all amazing!Food was also delicious which we ordered every thing from buttermilk pancakes with fresh fruits to waffles with cinnamon apples to a spinach, feta, onions omelet πStaff was super nice and helpful and the space is very cute inside and patio out front. Will definitely be back soon!
Amazing! Completely blown away! I stumbled upon this place one morning I didnβt feel like making breakfast and need a quick bite for guest. Everyone loved it and continues rave about it.
This cafe + market is a gem! A welcomed addition to this side of Bloomfield. I love having top quality espresso, healthy breakfast and lunch dishes just a quick walk from my house! I come here at least 2x a week, if not more. Alex, the owner, is a lovely person every time we see him. Remembers us and greets us with fresh pastries on the regular. He (and his team) always makes our dishes perfect.. and always fixes any part he/we think should be improved on, like too much oil, for example. Some of our favorites are the French toast with berries, the Greek salad (so, so good), the quinoa filled hash browns and the vegetable filled omelet. I continue to stop by for lunch since their Mediterranean dishes and salads are light, yet filling. Oh, and their feta cheese is just to die for! Thanks Agora for being a part of our neighborhoodβ we love to support small businesses here in town.
Wonderful service, and the owner let me try some Greek classics for free. The muffins and crepes are delicious. Definitely coming back!
Excelent food and service.Love this place
Beyond excited about this new Greek cafe and grocery from the wonderful people at Stamna just a few storefronts away. Agora has only been open for a few weeks and Iβve already been there multiple times to try as many items as I can.All of the baked treats, cakes, and custards are amazing. I donβt have much experience with Greek sweets and pastries and everything Iβve tried has blown me away - Iβm especially partial to all the different kinds of cakes soaked in sweet syrups.Brunch there was fantastic as well; they have a small yet diverse enough menu to please everyone and itβs built around the ethos of making simple, classic dishes the best they can. Highly recommend the omelets and savory crepes! If youβre looking for good coffee, they have full espresso service too - cappuccinos are super creamy and delicate. Finally, they have an entire mini grocery of Greek imports, unlike anything you can find in the immediate area. Pastas, beans, olives, packaged sweets, chocolates, cheeses, even frozen goods - they have pretty much anything you might want. So, I canβt recommend this new spot enough. Really looking forward to grabbing a delicious dinner at Stamna, then popping over to Agora for dessert and coffee. Do yourselves a favor and make a trip as soon as you can.
I tried the Elliniki and the roast chicken omelets bot were great. The hashbrowns on the side are probably the best hadhbrowns Ive had. Personnel was very friendly. Their cappuccino is also good.
I want to start by saying I love Stamna, Iβve been a repeat customer, but today when I came to Agora to order lunch to go I was kind of baffled by the customer service (this was my first time). I walked through the door, there was not a single customer in there (whatever), I walked right up to the counter and the girl who was working had her hand up in a position to taking selfies, and proceeded to take selfies or whatever she was doing for a good 45 seconds before saying hello. I just sort of stared at her like βare you seriousβ but I was pleasant and ordered a Greek wrap. It was just grilled chicken with salad, no seasoning what so ever and when I opened the container to eat it, it was falling apart I couldnβt even pick it up. I will probably go back at some point because the place is cute and I want to love it, but I just feel like someone should know about the blatant disregard the cashier displayed, and that the wrap was really bland. :( :(
Lovely, high quality baked goods! Authentic Greek food.
The best place to relax !!
Good breakfast spot
Went here today for some coffee and something quick to eat. I got the vanilla latte with oat milk which was very good, and to eat a baguette sandwich with fresh green pepper, tomato, feta cheese, and olive paste which was so delicious. Definitely recommend and will be back.
Great authentic Greek food here.
Agora is my go to for breakfast. The food is so good, so fresh and delicious. The simplicity of eggs, homefries with a twist, rustic Balthazar bread with creamy butter and preserves du jour. Add a cup of really good coffee and you will experience a little Grecian heaven.
Excellent food, quality and service. I was pleasantly surprised on how good the coffee and crepes were. Everything on the menu seems to be superb.
I visited Agora today, based on a recommendation from a friend (who is not Greek), so I wasnt sure what to expect; I am Greek, and know what authentic Greek foods/pastries should taste like.I was delighted and perfectly satisfied to find that the Frappe and Freddo Cappuccino, as well as the Portokalopita and Ekmek, was absolutely delicious, fresh, and tasty! Everything I saw in the store looked delicious, and I look forward to going back and trying more items. They also carry a nice array of Greek products (pastas, honey, cookies, crackers, fruit preserves, coffee, etc.lService was super friendly, warm, and welcoming - and the place is perfectly clean.A MUST TRY IF YOURE IN OR PASSING THRU MONTCLAIR!
Good greek specialities, brunch and coffee place. Great desserts and cakes for that home-made Greek authentic taste. I love the goods they sell too.
A great cafe for breakfast and lunch with a really nice market in the back with fresh Greek products. Very cool.
A word of advice: dont come here and cheat yourself out of the Greek experience by ordering American favorites: these are some of the best Greek pastries you can have outside of Greece. My wife and I had:-Bougatsa (custard filled phyllo with sugar and cinnamon) - The custard was nice and firm -- DELICIOUS-Spanikopita (Spinach/greens and cheese in phyllo) -- Good-Kourabiedes (Cookies) -- Best Ive ever had-Portokalopita (orange semolina cake) -- The orange flavor shone through without the usual tartness and the texture was lovelyINCREDIBLEGreek Salad - Good quality with outstanding dressingTiropita (cheese in phyllo) - Tasty as can beTylokouloro (another cheese pie) - Also great!Greek coffee - Strong and delicious for those who reallllly like a rich coffee flavorGreek yogurt with honey and cherry preserves -- Every element of this was absolutely fantastic; altogether it was a symphony of rich, sweet, and tartWe had another dish that was a cross between a custard and yogurt with the same phenomenal cherry preserves on top and a thin layer of cake below -- high marks for this one as well
