I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years and I have never had such a thorough eye exam as I had by Dr. Evola and her staff: Angie, Sandy and Michelle. Update: LensCrafters responded to my review with a form for me to complete. I have already been in contact with customer service. They completed that form via a phone call for me and told me they were escalating it because they pride themselves with their customer service. Since then, no one from LensCrafters has reached out. It has been well over a month. I have followed up numerous times via email and there has still been no resolution.Up until my last visit I have always had a positive experience. This last time everything that could have gone wrong did. Initially, they tried to overcharge me. I was assured I was getting the best price. I asked for them to pull up my previous orders they told me they couldnt do that. So I looked back in my records and they were overcharging me quite a bit. The manager said she would call back with the information and never did. I had to call countless times to try to get a hold of her. It took almost a month for my new glasses to arrive and when they did they were the wrong prescription. So they had to reorder them. Associates were not helpful and their customer service is terrible. I called their customer service line in hopes there would be some attempt to makes this experience better. Sadly, after multiple emails they told me that the store reached out to me and offered me a discount for future use. That simply is NOT true. No one has been in contact with me since I went the second time to pick up my glasses.

I broke my glasses and needed to buy a new pair. I brought in my prescription papers and the salesperson Sayeeda helped me select a new pair. She was able to look up my insurance info and was very knowledgeable about my benefits. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Excellent customer service. I will be using them for all of my familys eye care needs.

I just want to express how amazing the staff is at this Lenscafters on Army Trail Bloomingdale.My mother lives in an Senior facility and does not drive, I came into town last week to take her to get her eyes tested. The doctor is wonderful and kind, we then worked with Angie who was soo patient. she helped my mother who is in a wheel chair find the right pair of glasses and lenses.I just got a call from my mother today that the manager Michelle of the store actually drove the glasses to my Mom because I couldn’t come back to town for another week. MICHELLE hand deliver and fitted her!! I’m blown away I can’t tell enough people how awesome this place is, you DONT see this kind of wonderful service!!

Great customer service from the staff at the Bloomingdale store. This store has a great selection of frames. Michelle was very helpful in selecting a pair of glasses. She is very knowledgeable with all the brands and different types of lenses. Great customer server thank you guys!!

Ive been coming to this location since they relocated here from Stratford Mall and was going there for about 3 years. Ive always received friendly service from everyone. Dr. Christine Evola is great in her job and makes you feel comfortable. The doctor and 2 separate people who helped me were extremely friendly and took care to send me on my way happy.

Doctor sent me here for a discount eyeglass program. Wouldn’t let me purchase my eye prescription, selection given of glasses was atrocious, now I tried to get my contact prescription and I have to do the entire exam over. Wouldn’t recommend going here.

Me and my children went there for a eye checkup last week, All the people in the store are very nice and accommodating and the eye doctor as well, she explained well the result of the eye checkup. Highly recommended.

The new facility is amazing! Clean, bright, modern and so open. The store in the mall was shabby. Everyone who helped me was professional but friendly. They took their time and I never felt rushed. Both the glasses and sunglasses are stylish and the prescription works fine.The cons for me are: You leave messages on my phone reminding me of the appointment I made the year before, with a specific date and time. I NEVER make appointments a year ahead of time and I find it insulting that I get these because you are LYING to me. Ive been coming to the same LensCrafters every year for almost 30 years (Ive never seen the same optometrist twice) you dont have to try to strong arm me into coming. In the past Ive asked you not to do this but, I got another one this year! OUTSTANDING! I have been going to this LensCrafters for years. The people who attended to me were courteous and took their time with me answering all of my eye care concerns. Vincent was wonderful. The Doctor was highly qualified. I would highly recommend this LensCrafters for your eye care needs. I have never been disappointed. The facility was well organized and clean.

After a very negative experience at a different eye clinic that dismissed my daughter’s vision impairment, we brought her here to get rechecked. Dr. Evola was most patient and kind to our shy seven year old and got her to feel very comfortable for her exam. Turns out she did indeed need glasses and was diagnosed with astigmatism. We will gladly return here in the future and appreciate the staff’s help and professionalism.

What a great experience we had at the LenCrafters in Bloomingdale today. Michelle was helpful, friendly and very professional. My daughter broke her glasses and Michelle fixed them and we walked out the door very happy. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

Went to get new glasses and bummed to hear that they sing make them there anymore. Waited a week to get them shipped. When I put the glasses on I couldnt see anything. Everything was blurred. I asked them to double check the prescription and it turns out that they had the left and right sides swapped. After looking closely I noticed the wire holding the lenses in was sticking out and the lenses were barely held in place. The kid helping was nice and apologized but the manager was a snobby b***h. She wouldnt even look at me. Basically avoided me at all cost. The kid ended up ordering me a new pair. So now I wait another week. I will update once that time comes.

Weve been to this particular location a number of times for exams and glasses over the years, as well as numerous adjustments and repairs to a broken or cracked this or that. Each and every time we have gone in we have been greeted with a smile and we have been treated wonderfully and every effort was made to insure that we were satisfied with our purchase or whatever service was provided that day for us. Although its not a service that you use on a regular basis it is a service that is important and the customer service that the employees here have always shown are a good example of why they are so popular!

Good helpful people. The glasses are still expensive even with insurance but thats not the employees or managers fault. Its because corporate owns a 90% monopoly on the eyewear market. Like bullying companies to buy them out like with what they did to raybans and Oakleys. But the employees were awesome.

The doctors are fine. The staff is unhelpful and rude. They were much better when they were in Stratford. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. Recently their pricing is outrageous. They now charge near 700 dollars just for the Oakley and RayBan lenses. They wanted over 300 dollars for the glasses with my insurance. I went down the street to Foreyes and got the same Oakley’s for 80 dollars

The only reason I would go this place is its close to us and I like the doctor. However, several staffs attitude are kind of rude/impatient. Also I feel they have double standard. Last time they let a customer step in right before my appointment. But when I need to do similar procedure, the staff told me I have to make appointment and they are all BOOKED for next couple days, which online showed quite open spot for normal eye exam. Very unhappy experience.

Went above and beyond

Went to the location at Stratford square this afternoon, to inquire about glasses for my wife. When we got there was one customer in the location. A sales associate approached us and asked if she could help. We informed her we would like to see how much two pair of glasses would cost. She then proceed to ask us about are personal information, name, address, phone number, email, ect.. This was being done while standing in the middle of the floor. I asked why she needed all this information and why we could not sit down and discuss why we came in for, to inquire about the cost of glasses. She informed me that she needed all this before she could give us any pricing. I did not realize that I was obligated to disclose my personal info before a sales associate could discuss what they are selling. Needless to say I will never buy glasses from your company

I recently visited this Lenscrafters location in Stratford Mall. Dr. Christine Evola was excellent and thorough in the eye exam. They use the latest equipment that makes the process very easy and accurate. The Lenscrafters team helped me pick out frames for me and my kids that looked good and made the checkout process quick. I had an issue with the glasses a few weeks later (need a slight prescription change), and it was resolved with no problems and no additional cost. I would recommend this location for its great eye Doctor and staff.

I came in on a Sunday afternoon seeking repair on my sunglasses. Some parts needed to be replaced, despite not having a previous purchase history with them, and the customer service representative Hayat was immediately available and happy to help. Within five minutes everything was done. Free of charge. Thank you, Hayat.

Place has gone downhill lately. Customer service is awful and deceitful. They had told me there would be no problem getting my pupil distance before the exam was done, after the exam things changed: we do everything digitally and we wont be able to measure the distance unless you buy glasses. Total ripoff. Go somewhere else if you want to order glasses online. Also, their frames selection is very limited. AVOID.

Went there with my girlfriend and they were really helpful. It was pretty busy the night we went and we had an appointment. They do walk ins but depending on the time you go id make an appointment.

This is the worst place! Every time I go to this location, the store manager - Stacy is rude to customers. This time, I heard a customer ask for another associate, and Stacy stated that the person is not in the business now. The customer then asked what she meant by that, Stacy replied, she is out on personal leave, I cant say anymore than that! Then said in a snarky way, how can I help you? Stacy is so fake and truly needs a course in customer service. I have several choice adjectives for her, but will refrain from this site... She is always condescending to the employees and customers! Unfortunately, I try and stay away when she is there, but had to go into store for my daughters needs. Im going to try a different Lens Crafters....

I had made an appointment for 5 pm and checked in on time. I waited till 5:30pm and when I went to the counter to ask how long is the wait? Dr Roshnee Patel was at the counter and said she was leaving at 5:30pm and asked me to make an appointment some another day. When I told the doc I checked in on time and she was behind in her schedule, She was rude and didn’t care and walked away from me. I was there to check my prescription because the one prescribed earlier was blurry and I could not drive wearing them. Even after explaining the urgency of my situation it did not matter to her at all. I believe she is incompetent to be a doctor who does not understand the urgency of a patient problem. They take oath to take care of patients. It was very frustrating.DO NOT ever make appointments with her. The manager was very helpful to handle the situation but the doctor did not care and was rude to him as well. This whole situation created by Dr Roshnee Patel was so unprofessional. I hope the management looks into this and let her go to avoid more loss for their business. I will never ever recommend any patients to make appointments with this doctor.

I have been brining my family here for years! The Doctors did not take notes on my records so now they share no accountability when we need more direction on why a child would get headaches from her glasses. When your shuffled through the process and told one thing when your there, and then another when you call in....it shows the unprofessionalism. Seeing this is an inquiry for my child, I am so disappointed with the Dr I spoke with today....unprofessional, unwilling to help and terrible listening skills. I will never bring my family to this location again. Very disappointed :(
