Found a bulge in our tire as we were loading up our van to drive 500 miles… We were there right when they opened at 7 and back on the road with 2 new tires by 8:15. Vincent was friendly and helpful getting us all set up, and Jamie did fast work to get us on the road. Glad we found such friendly and fast service!

The people here are great. I had my car towed here after overheating, and even though the cost of repair was high they explained exactly why and what the expenses were from. For me the car wasnt worth the fix, but they helped with a temporary fix to get me by so I didnt have to EMERGENCY shop for a new vehicle. Much appreciated, and I will go back there again.

I went to several different tire places to look for winter tires. I was recommended the firestone weather grips. They are not winter tires so I dont need to change in spring and fall. OMG they are amazing. I have been doing deliveries around the cities and have not had an issue while I have seen 4x4 and AWD cars spinning out all over the place.The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I have been recommending this place to all my friends.

I wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars. I cannot speak more highly of this place! They are absolutely amazing in any every way. I went to another Firestone and felt like I was being scammed. I came to this Firestone and it was a completely different experience. I was told what was wrong with my vehicle and I was explained the fix and the costs. they did not try to sell me extra tests that werent needed and they did everything in a timely fashion. From the person that greeted us at the door, to the phone call telling us what was wrong with the vehicle, to the person that checked us out when we picked up our vehicle it was all amazing!

Best car care experience of my life. John is very honest and friendly and personally showed me the results of a car inspection for a road trip, and gave me plenty of pointers for what I might want to take care of down the road. Road trip started in North Dakota but waited until I could take the car in to John for the inspection. Provides great piece of mind. I dont live in the area anymore, sad I wont be able to bring it into this location regularly anymore.

Went in for an oil change on my company leased vehicle and came out with new tires on top of the standard maintenance. I have requested this for the last couple of years with no luck but the guys at this location were able to get approval from my company. Definitely going to be my go to place moving forward. Thanks!

This place is amazing. Not the typical auto shop feel, no pressure with sales or upcharges. John is extremely kind and really puts you at ease which is so helpful when dealing with car troubles. Him and Jamie went out of their way to help me out the best they could and I feel totally confident in them, will definitely be coming back as a lifelong customer.

Great service with clear and upfront pricing. I went in looking for a new car battery. Unfortunately they didnt have a proper one in stock so they special ordered one and it was delivered by closing on the same day. Went back two days later for a scheduled fuel injection service. In quick order they did the job and the vehicle is running great. I would definitely be bringing my car back for future work.

Fabulous, exceptional service! Early on Sunday AM, I called because I was attending the Vikings game from out of state and had a screw in my tire. I arrived around 9:30 and my car was immediately repaired. My daughter and I were able to make it to the game on time and made it home safely to WI that night. The kindness that we experienced was almost worth the inconvenience of a needed repair. We cant thank Firestone enough for helping us and for the exceptional service! Great service- above and beyond! I got a flat tire today on a 1 month old Firestone tire (not the tires fault)purchased in another city. I brought it to this Firestone store. Despite no appointment and a very busy day, Brandon said he would get it fixed.Within a couple hours, the tire was repaired, remounted, and my spare tire put away. I went in to see what was wrong with my electrical system the starter, battery, wiring... they did a battery test and starter test and it checked out fine so I gave them the go ahead to replace the wiring. They ordered the part from Napa and were going to start on it. When they finished up they said the wire they got didn’t fit my car so they just respliced the wire ends and cleaned it up a bit while putting new terminal connector things on. They did this without telling me and at first I was ok with it but I went out and popped the hood after I paid and took a look. They just replaced the terminal connector things and that was it. It didn’t look like much cleaning if any was done and I was very disappointed the wiring wasn’t changed since that was what I was worried about. They charged me 177$ for this and I went back inside to try to understand the payment breakdown. As I was inside they refunded me 140$. I am very grateful they understood my issue and I can’t believe they refunded me since many car shops won’t do that. They were nice about it as well. I just feel a bit guilty as someone new behind the counter was working so perhaps the mis communication was with them and I don’t want them to loose their job over 100$ or so. Anyways this place is very nice to their customers and will do pretty much anything to keep them happy.

Brandon and John offered great customer service from beginning to end. The maintenance staff did a great job fixing the needs of our vehicle. We have been returning customers for a long time. They have gone above and beyond. We are very appreciative.

I always go to the Bloomington location, my last experience was challenging. Brought my older car in because I noticed a stabilizer bar was hanging in the front of my car. I also needed my driver door re-hung. After inspection was told I needed new leaf springs, shackles. When I asked if it was drivable I was told NO. Yet it got there just fine. They would not let me take it so I had to rent a car to get by.Well, GM was on strike so parts were a problem. After a week it got fixed with used parts, aftermarket was not mentioned. They didnt have the tool to fix the door so they had to send it to Bloomington Collision to hang the door. No one talked me through the work that was done, they had my money. Looking over the work, this week I noticed the panels near the rear of the car dont line up, and someone, somewhere put a screw in the armrest panel of my door to hold it together so I snagged my sweater on it.

Awesome experience! Will return in the future! I’ve had them do several jobs and they are always on time and courteous! Great tire prices!

I dont typically write reviews but given the treatment I had, I simply couldnt help myself. My fiancé and I are full time RVrs. We were in a bit of a time crunch and needed a quick fix on our Jeep that we pull. There was a women mechanic there (I didnt catch her name) who did a quick and outstanding job. John was taking care of the front desk and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of. He gave us a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place! Not just for the efficiency of the mechanics, but for a place that makes you feel welcomed, important, and happy. We hope every stop we make has a John there!

Great experience here at firestone! I was out of town and a front head light went out. The staff was very polite & knowledgeable and got us back on the road under an hour. They even filled my low tire and checked the rest of them without me asking! I love service like that!

Firestone is apparently a night and day difference than what it previous was. The explanation, the honest reporting of what my car needed, the fair pricing and most of all the absolute best customer service Ive ever had at a repair shop.They earned my business from here on out. Since April 2018, I started going to the Bloomington Firestone because of my daughter because this was the Firestone that she likes the best for her car repair shop. I have went to the Brooklyn Center and Blaine Firestone but the one I like the best is the Bloomington location. Thats why I will be taking my own vehicle there that I have just purchased. I already have an appointment for next week. Johns professionalism is wonderful, hes considerate, a people person and remembers most of his clients. Thanks for employing John his great for this job and most of all he loves his job and I feel at home when I come in to get repairs done on my daughters car and my new mini van.

Previously before new ownership I used this location. Since transitioning to new ownership, I have been very happy with their customer service and promptness. I brought in my 16 year olds new vehicle for tires and they were very thorough and ensured that I was being cost effective with my purchases. 3 months later, I had my daughter adult and bring her car in for an oil change and they walked her through everything and were very accommodating when she picked up the vehicle after work. I had been using a Chrysler dealership for my newer cars but after the positive experience with my daughters car, I decided to switch my entire fleet to Firestone in Bloomington and they have continued to do an excellent job (even better than the dealerships!). I was there for an oil change when I went to check out I was told both my upper and lower ball joints were shot and were in need of replacement. Which didnt make any sense, and told me it would be 1200 to replace them all. Good thing I said no, because I got a second opinion and was told there was nothing wrong with them. They seemed nice but given the false report of my ball joints and trying get me to spend 1200 bucks I will not be coming back...

John made my experience the best experience possible. I’m not from the Minneapolis, area. However, I wanted to take my family to Mall of America. As we traveled to MOA we ran into black ice problems and when we arrived to our hotel, I called Firestone. I couldn’t be happier with the great experience John offered me. He really made me feel like I was family and with the great customer service experience I will continue to use Firestone auto center for my vehicle repairs.

My son took his car here on Wednesday to have a tire patched. They said theyd call either Wed or Thurs. Thurs afternoon he finally went back and they told him the guy who did that wasnt there and they didnt know anything about it or where his tire was and he should come back on Friday. He goes in on Fri at noon and they say his tire cant be patched (hard to believe since it was holding air with a slow leak) and itll be a half an hour for them to get a new one on. So about an hour later he finally goes back in and asks whats going on and they say Oh sorry, that tire was already earmarked for someone else and well have to get another one. So 4 PM Friday, theyve had his car for TWO DAYS at this point, they finally get a new tire on. I guess when you have your customers over a barrel and they have to get to work, you can treat them however you want and get away with it (especially if they look very young). Never going there again, and neither should you!

They dont honor their warranties. They lie about parts that are perfectly 100% safe and functional. They once told a person I sent their for an alignment(because they were the only shop in town that had an open alignment rack) that they needed new tie rods ball joints and a wheel bearing. The reason it was getting aligned was because we just replaced all those parts that day. After I called and told them to do what they were told to do instead of swindling this person they did the alignment and the car to this day 30,000+ miles later has not needed anything replaced. They charged a buddy of mine 1200 for power steering hoses on an Audi that the entire rack and pinion new was 900 and in the end it wasnt the hoses but he still got charged 1200. Steer clear of this opperation. A scam at best. Only thing their good for is turning rotors.

After having a horrible experience the evening before with my back tire, they were amazing and got my car in right away this morning. I came in with a pin-hole in my tire. An hour later the mechanic said that he fixed the severe bead leak. He didnt even look for a pin-hole, and I know for a fact there was not a bead leak. So, another half hour later, they send me on my way. I get in my car and the brakes barely work. When I go in to inquire as to why, they say that it was well documented, and that there was no way they had anything to do with it. So, youre telling me theres no way this mechanic, who was incompetent enough to fix something that wasnt broken, and to completely miss the thing that was broken, youre telling me theres no way he could have messed something else up? Also, this well documented issue was written in a different pen than the other documented issues.

For the person who says it is under new management and everyone is polite, is lying to you! I drove 111.000 miles on my original set of tires. I bought 4 brand new tires from them, I did not want an alignment because nothing was wrong to begin with. All my old tires wore properly. I was told that if I dont the tire mileage warranty would not apply, so I paid for an alignment. WORST thing ever! When I picked up my vehicle my steering wheel was way off to the left, I didnt make it a block. In the next hour my vehicle was aligned 3 more times and they said its all good. My two front tires are shot and cupped, the front right tire is so far off that it has warn a 1/4 more than the other three. I took it to them and was fed every excuse in the book on how it was my fault. I have been there 2 times trying to get them to fix their mistake, no such luck. Their answer right from the manager was if I get a reimbursement, then you get a reimbursement. If I dont you wont. I can not even put my vehicle if four wheel drive, if I do it darts all over the road and is uncontrollable. STAY AWAY from this horrible establishment..

I dont normally write reviews of businesses, but in this case, I need to. Ive been buying my tires and having my car serviced at Firestone on Lyndale and 90th for years. I am writing this note to let yall know that this store is where you want to go when you need service. Heres why:1) They do the little things rightAnd by little things, I mean everything. I once brought my car in for an oil change prior to a trip to California (Dec 2017) and Yousef, one of the techs, found that I had a broken rear strut assembly that I didnt even know about! Had I taken that trip with that problem, who knows what could have happened and when! A VERY big deal to me.2) John VanHall the Service ManagerAs personable as they come. Always bends over backwards to help people. Not just me - Ive waited in line for assistance when they were busy, and have witnessed first hand his treatment of others besides me, and can attest to this mans empathy and dedication to doing whats right for the customer. You dont see that everyday, and in fact, rarely.3) When something goes wrong, they dont blow smoke up your skirt.Ive had tires that had issues with low pressure due to issues not related to the quality of the tire, and these guys were ready, willing, and able to replace the stem or repair a leaky seal and get me back on the road lickety split. Ive even seen them take care of such a problem as a priority while the shop is humming, its so busy, and I gotta tell ya, thats a good feeling when you get something taken care of promptly and with no BS as a matter of policy, not an exception.4) Priced RightNo matter how good the service is, lets face it, most people only care about price, and Ive found their pricing to be competitive and worth it.So, thats what I wanted to share. At least for us the service was good. We are from out of town and were in Bloomington for the weekend, on a late Saturday afternoon had a breakdown. Firestone had it fixed and had us back on the road that day and that really saved the trip for us.

Too often, when we have to bring our vehicles in for a checkup, or to get an issue looked at, we think the worst. I think this has come from bad experiences from previous repair shops, bad mechanics, and the list goes on. I had an issue with a tire that I noticed had a slow leak. I brought it into the Firestone in Bloomington MN. John was my first point of contact, and let me just say the art of friendly customer service is sometimes lost at establishments like this. However, John was one of the most friendly people I have ever encountered at any of the Firestones I have visited. He was friendly, reassuring, upfront and put me at ease with potential issues with my tire. It turned out there was a nail in my tire (that I couldnt see due to all the snow on my tire). There was no upsell from John. He provided some analysis and suggestions for future service issues. But that was it. My experience with John and his team was top notch, and I would recommend anyone to bring their vehicle to the Firestone in Bloomington.

I have not use this store much but after having a terrible experience at tires plus, I brought my car here for them to realign the tires, it took a fraction of the time it took at the other shop and they got it right the first time. They will see me again.

They did not do the courtesy check properly, they did not let us know that there was any lights out or that the brake fluid needed to be flushed because there were supposedly 300 copper parts per million. I am sure that they did not even do this. Matt Bloom was not anywhere near a person that I would come back for. He lied to me and he sat there arguing with a customer when my mom and I were in the store as well as another customer sitting down. They didnt even write down that the service engine light was on. Also I told them to put high mileage in the car and they did not. This is BY FAR the WORST service I have had EVER.

Went in for standard oil change (5 Qt regular 5w-30). Charged $39.57!!! (Everywhere else in town $25) Oil was overfilled by over half a Qt. Tires were over inflated to 36-38psi (supposed to be 26 on my suv). The inspection suggested a coolant flush, fuel filter, and plug wires... all of which had already been done about 500 miles ago! Took about 45mins with an appointment. Takes me 10-15 at home.

Outstanding Firestone Complete Auto Care in Bloomington, MN. Their manager, John VanHall, did a great job assessing what needed to be done to bring my car back to life and the price was much better than could be done anywhere else. Even though I now live in White Bear Lake, there was nowhere else I wanted to go because I knew the service at the Bloominton Firestone would be worth the trip.

Worst place ever to have your car worked on. Went in for a oil change and walked out of there 1200 dollars less. They said my oil pan gasket was leaking but it wasnt leaking before they got a hold of it. They also did some brake lines and now two years later they broke agian. Warning dont go here.
