Told us it would take 5 hours to mount an balance two already purchased stock tires. Then told me to go down the road to O.K. Tire and have them mounted and balanced there. It took 30 minutes at O.K. Tire and their quality of service was great and very helpful with customers unlike Discount Tire (Place is a joke and overcharges)

ALL the staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and polite. They got me right in and were able to patch the tire. I’ve been a customer of theirs for a few years now and I won’t be using anyone else for the foreseeable future. 5 stars!

The assistant manager wrecked my car backing into a parking spot, hitting another driver passing through. He didnt have an employee backing him up into a parking spot, or preventing drivers from driving through the parking lot at a high rate of speed, or at least show any awareness of his surroundings. They didnt give me a claim number, or show me a claim report, or proof of them taking any pictures, or any other employees as a witness, just a business card with his name on it. I have no assurance whatsoever that they will take care of me, including the damage and dimished value of the vehicle, now that it is wrecked. They even made me pay full price for the service and 3 hour wait. Now I have to drive back home to texas after coming out here for vacation with a wrecked car, and bad service. Thanks discount tire.

Ive been purchasing my tires from Discount Tires for over 25 years and have Always had great service. My wife and I were RVing for 2 months earlier this year and I stopped in Discount (a long way from home) to have my tires checked and two of my tires had gone bad. BecauseI had the tire hazard protection, I paid $89.00 for two new tires. You have got to love their customer service. The staff is always friendly and treat you with respect. I cannot say enough nice things about Discount Tire. The workers are always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and dont try to manipulate or oversell you like other car/tire places will. I will continue to take my business here as long as I can. Their warranties are amazing and are worth the money and then some! I have had several flat tires or minor punctures over the years and they fix them or replace the tire quickly and with little or no cost. Id give them ten stars if I could!

Always knowledgeable, only thing to note is that my appointment was at 11:30, they didnt start working on it til about 5 after 12, but it was done by their guaranteed time of 12:30. Not a big deal just something to think about when making an appointment. Other than that always fast service, nice employees who take their time going over options.

Although I did not receive service for a replacement for a split tire even after calling before arriving and the team members saying that it was OK for me to come at that exact time I SPOKE TO RYAN !!!! when I got there I checked in and was told to pull in and wait. Upon awaiting 20 minutes or so one of the team members came out and greeted me and did his post check in now take in note that when I got there it was only 2 people ahead of me with 3 open bay slots and plenty of employees when I was at the check-in station there was still only me and the other two individuals customers that were there when finishing up at check-in station I guess people who had appointments had shown up. now it makes sense to me since I’m already at the check-in desk to take care of me first not deny me Business and say I can wait almost 2 more hours for our walk in fit in I was there first and none of the appointments were there yet wouldn’t have made sense to do my tire change at that moment it only takes 15 mins probably not even that with all their supposedly experience no1 even would’ve know that I didn’t have an appointment I felt that They might have been Bias towards me and my situation I don’t know if it was because of my Skin Color or because I have never been to that location before but to tell a customer one thing and ensure that you can take care of that knowing the situation that was explained to you and you say that I could come up and receive service I was number 3 in queue then turn around and tell me that you have to work me in because people have appointments I showed up at 2 o’clock waited 20 mins And no one showed up while I was there. This was very bias feeling or biased judgment decision towards me and Im sure others I don’t understand why you would offer services and then deny services upon arrival sounds kind of fishy to me it’s not a very good look I will also be reporting you to the BBB

Great experience, from ordering our tires to getting them installed, they have so many different selections and Great prices, they helped us decide what tire we wanted even got a pretty good rebate so it was like getting one tire for free,oh and we got lifetime warranty which is great peace of mind. them fellas knocked it out quick, and did a great job. I would definitely recommend atleast stopping in and see what they offer. Definitely a night and day difference from the old tired to the new ones.

Great service and installed the tires pretty quick, they work well together it was great to see the perform as a team, the communication and team effort made it quick and painless. Our salesman was great he worked hard to get us a great deal and talked us through tire differences and uses, then we even got a $100 rebate and a awesome warranty, we will definitely be going back with our other vehicles.

Wouldnt fix my tire after I just spent 800 dollars on new tires because they say the tread was low. These tires dont even have 20k miles on them. Then the guy started taunting me because I said I wouldnt be back. We have bought several sets of tires from there but never again.

They were all very polite and organized. They got us in and out quickly. They talked us through every step of the way and went over options incase my tire couldnt be patched. We got to stay in our vehicle the entire time. And they found one nail and patched it and took the time to check it again and found another nail in my tire and patched that as well, and it was free!! Very nice setup they have. Lots of working men with machine and good service. Had some trouble with golf cart tires and they got them on within an hour. Big O needs to take one out of their book and get more than 2 machine. Will never go back to Big O after going here. It’s night and day difference.

The tires are of decent quality, but they’re definitely not their name, Discount. Also they broke something off my wheel, then told me that I’d have to go get that fixed somewhere else before they could replace the tire. Oh ok, I’ll be right back. Not!

Eager service and quality products at discounted prices. I purchased Michelin Latitude Tours for our Taurus. They are good looking tires and have brought back that new car experience in driving - quite and comfortable ride. I purchased the 10 year free replacement warranty for the tires. Hopefully we dont have to find out whether or not they actually do a full replacement of the tire for free in the event of road damage or manufacturers defect.

This was my third purchase from discount tire in blue springs. Amazing customer service, both with the purchasing and installation of my product. Loaded my old wheels and tires in the bed of my truck. In and out in about 35 minutes. Very happy to have spent my money here.

These guys are always fast at getting me in at last minute when i have a flat tire. Thought that with covid things would be slower. I was proven wrong there. They absolutely have a system that moves customers in and out fast. Couldnt thank this group of people enough.

Not the best at customer service. They use a queued system by text message as soon as you arrive. Then sometime later you get to talk to a tire expert. I just had quick question that was eventually answered -discontinued This is a PITA.

Update. I needed service for my car and they told me earliest appointment they could get me was Friday at 4:30. I show up at 4:10. They come out and greet me and take my money. Going on an hour after I showed up and 40 minutes past my appointment and car has not moved.Second update. I went in to ask and they said I didn’t have an appointment. I called Wednesday and they knew about my other vehicle and said I had an appointment at 430.Great experience. Watching these guys work on my truck is like a well oiled machine. They rebalanced my old tire without asking and were very accommodating on rehanging my spare and swapping my tires around. They even take the time to polish of the rust and buildup on back side of rims.

I bought 4 tires from Discount Tire in Blue Springs. With the purchase I get free tire rotation. This morning I called at 8:13 to see if there is a wait for tire rotation. The person that answered the phone said if you were in front of me, I would have you done in 20 minutes. I told him I would be there in about thirty minutes. When I got to Discount Tire in Blue Springs I was told that they are not doing tire rotations because of the weather. (tires cannot be balanced with snow in the treads). I can understand that but I cant understand why I was told to come in to get tires rotated if they were not even doing tire rotations. There has been snow on the ground for the previous few days. So I would assume that they were not doing tire rotations those days either. I spent time and gas money to drive there and back for no reason. Very disappointing.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Prices? Best in town. They will also price match. Scheduling appointments? Easier than any other tire service center I’ve been to. Their website is also top notch. Customer service? It’s like the Chick-fil-A of auto service centers...maybe better. I’ve only been using them since March and they recognize me when I come in, know my vehicle, know my tires and are always welcoming. Their tire warranty is fantastic as well. $15.00 per tire and no questions asked flat repair, tire replacement (if needed), and as I learned today, assistance for warranty claims with the tire manufacturer. One last thing, it’s nice to be able to stay in your car throughout the process, especially with everything going on with the pandemic. If you need tires, come to Discount Tire in Blue Springs.

Ordered tires that werent in stock, delivery was a few business days. Install was easy to get scheduled and done. Staff (William?) was great and helped me thru the whole process. Got a nail in my tire in less than a month which they patched up free of charge without an appointment. Only complaint I have is with initial install. They used a lot of grease/lube/bead sealant, not really sure what it was, which ended up splattered on the side of my car.

The guys here are super nice, always make sure that they do a great job. Cannot recommend enough

Purchased 4 new tires and only had them on about 5 months. While getting my oil changed at a different business I figured I would have them rotated as well. That place said they would not rotate them due to cupping. When I called Discount Tire to see what they can do because the tires were under warranty they explained I needed to bring my vehicle in to have them look at it and determine if it was actually the tires or my vehicle. I have a 2018 with less than 50,000 miles, However they kept insinuating that it would most likely be my vehicle and not the tires that we purchased. Will definitely not purchase tires from them anymore. Nothing was done to correct the defective tires.

First I purchased 4 new tires for my vehicle, they would not hold air. Every couple of weeks I had to put air in. They looked and could find nothing wrong. Then eventually they realized they forgot to write on the ticket to remove corrosion off the wheels. That fixed it when they finally realized their mistake.

Ordered new tires for my truck. Tires arrived on time and the service techs communicated with me throughout the process. They called the day of my appointment to confirm the date and time still worked for me. I arrived about 30 minutes early and was checked in right away. New tires were installed within 45 minutes and I was on my way. Will definitely recommend this business to my friends.

Came over here after i made an appointment at independence and said the tires i needed. Hit a pothole and popped one tire, the other had a bubbled sidewall.(I have the road hazard warranty) then when i got there they said they didnt have the tires I needed. Came here cause they had some, showed the guy the bad tire in the trunk and the bubbled sidewall one on the rear. Then they took my good spare that I put on the front when i hit the pothole and left the popped one in the trunk. Not happy with having to do all this extra driving and waste my time because they arent communicating well.

The boys here are SO sweet 😭 I’m a dummy and locked my keys in my truck right before I was about to get all 4 of my tires done and they waited until a tow company showed up and busted their tail to get my tires done even though it was so close to close time! All the while they made sure to reassure me that it was okay and that they’d take care of me and get me fixed up! I appreciate their kindness so much and I’m glad I chose to do my business here. 🥰💖 Elliot is who helped me and he was literally the sweetest and made sure I was taken care of even though it probably wasn’t the easiest! 😂😇

I had one of my drivers go here to get a tire changed. They said it would be two hours before they could get to it. So I drove out myself to change it since they seemed too busy to help. When I had the van up on the jack, a worker came out to inform me it was against company policy to change a tire myself in their parking lot. I had my driver drive on a flat tire, ON THE RIM, to another parking lot to change this tire. This was the most astonishing thing I have ever been told. Is it because I’m making you look bad by changing my own tire at a tire shop? I will NEVER spend my money here again nor will I EVER recommend anyone to go to this store ever again.

Elliott was tremendously helpful! My day included several inconvenient surprises, including a flat tire with a screw in it. Although they were quite busy, Elliott quickly helped me and, seeing that I had an arm injury he sent me home to be out of the heat. It wasn’t long until he called to say my tire was repaired and to come back for installation. I arrived and he immediately changed out my spare tire. I began to pay and learned this service was FREE!! I had no idea when I chose to go there! Elliott is professional, courteous and genuinely kind! Discount Tire is clean and orderly and Elliott represents them perfectly! My experience with them made my day much better!

I went to have my tires checked because I thought I had a slow leak in 2 of my tires. They checked my tires, found that the tire was not seated on the rim well due to corrosion on the rim. They wire brushed them to clean the corrosion off, reseated them, put them back on, aired them up and I was good to go!! Cost me NOTHING to do!! Thanks guys, and especially Billy!! As a Blue Springs business owner myself, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them!!

Great tire shop

This place is horrible and a complete rip off. I just had my rear tires replaced and then they tried to tell me my lugnuts are bad which I know is complete bs because I had just changed my brakes myself a month ago and a different company changed my front tires recently and we had no problem with them. They were mad because I wouldnt buy new lugnuts for no reason and proceeded to break the stud off the hub. Dont go here

Id written my appointment time down wrong and arrived 30 minutes before closing. They were able to get me in, get my wheel and tire replaced and had me back in the road in 20 minutes. That included swapping the TPMS sensor and relearning the system. Customer service was awesome and the price was well below what the dealer wanted for just the wheel!

My appointment was set for 930, I showed up at 900, I was out by 945. All 4 new tires at a great price. Nothing less than what I expect from Discount Tire, but, todays visit will be one for the books 🏃🏿‍♂️💨

Do good other than they always put weights on the outer rim. I hate that. Just got some done for a 66 caddy and they all have weights on the outside. So the hub caps won’t go on. I’ll have to take them to a place that knows how to balance them correctly.
