A very honest business. Very welcoming to new customers. I asked them to check my battery, and the business owner knew I was ready to buy a new one if needed, but he said my cars battery was strong and good. They only did the necessary repair for a very reasonable price, and did it very promptly.

Do not trust these people. They do not honor their word, l already had one mechanic willing to do the job, but Dave told me he would be willing to do it here at his shop for cheaper. He told me he would take a job of replacing a motor, But that I need to wait for him to find the motor and keep the car (said he didnt have the storage space) then almost a week later finally tells me he does not want the job. Unprofessional, a huge waste of time, and tow bills.

I’ve been coming here for several years with my Tahoe. Once a diagnosis is made, Dave gives me a price and I’ve never paid more than that. I READ a few real goofy reviews. A shop won’t randomly commit to doing a job that costs more without your approval. And from my experience in other shops they will say “if it is not this, then X could be bad which is not ideal because it is $300 more”. Anyhow, I am very pleased with their work and honesty.

Ive had my cars repaired here for years. They are knowledgeable and reasonably priced and get me back on the road in a timely manner. I have also recommended them to family members, friends and clients who have had the same experience. No one is happy when their car breaks down but having a trustworthy mechanic in your corner is worth its weight in gold!

The work was good but the guy was the typical thief trying to take advantage of a female. My daughter took her car in for repair on Monday this week and got the car back promptly as promised. The problem is the guy saw that the insurance company estimated the costs for repair higher than he had quoted her. The repair he quoted was not to include the bumper as it only needed to be buffed out. Good call on our part because it looks as good as new. When she goes to pick up the car, he UP-CHARGES her 20% more with no real explanation. He was talking out of both sides of his mouth. The insurance estimate included bumper repair and she didnt have that done so he was trying to screw her to pad his own pockets. I am reporting him the BBB and on Yelp for his dishonest practices. Im giving him one star for the work and the prompt repair. Beware ladies. Update: My Son in Law had to get involved to make this thing right and get her money back.

I LOVE this place! I have been using Blue Springs Auto Repair for at least 10 yrs and have nothing but good history with the former AND current owners. The service and prices are unbeatable and being a woman Ive ALWAYS been treated with respect and have NEVER been taken advantage of.

Dave is that honest mechanic you are looking for and very reasonably priced. Each repair has come in cheaper than his estimate. They are definitely about the customer.I even witnessed a young lady come in to thank Dave. Her father had taken her car multiple places but no one could diagnose the problem but they quoted her upwards of $800. Dave looked at the car and fixed it in 2 minutes and didnt charge for the repair either.

Dave is so honest and friendly. Whenever possible he gives options for repairs (rebuilt vs new transmission with pros and cons) and my car is always finished when he says it will be. Ive referred 3 people to him, one drives from Shawnee to use Dave for repairs. I highly recommend!

This auto repair shop is the worse ever. I wouldnt ever recommend this shop to anybody. The father of the business is absolutely rude, very disrespectful and has a very short temper. They will tell you one cheap price until they finally got your vehicle in the shop and then add $200 up to $1000 so that youre stuck to pay the price in order to get your vehicle back. This shop will not stand behind their work and then you become the enemy once you question pricing and their work. They caused damage to a few of my vehicles and then covered it up without admitting their wrong doings. If you care about your vehicle and dont want to get ripped off, I would extremely recommend going somewhere else.

Used to use this company for all my cars with great service and I dont know if they had a change or what but they have had my car for over a week with no notice and have not returned our calls. Then I was accused of lying because they told me it would be ready tomorrow, called the next day and the guy yelled at me and said that a lie because he told me he couldnt fix it which I know isnt true. Will never go back here.

My dad is a nice guy and doesn’t deserve the hate from some of you people. We are cheaper then any other shop I guarantee that!

This shop is run by a convicted felon with anger management issues. Tread lightly with Dave. Also, totally incompetent at diagnosing problems with vehicles. The last misdiagnosis cost me about $700.
