What an amazing restaurant. It was recommended to me for their empanadas, and they were delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant.

The man who helped me was very condescending and defeatist in helping me fix a problem I had. Instead I would have appreciated him to teach me what he knew about the problem and perhaps offer to bring me to the department or isle where I could potentially find compatable products. He didnt want to first make absolutely certain that his store didnt contain the product, instead he made me feel as though what I was trying to accomplish was incorrect and that he would have no part in helping me accomplish my goals. As for parts and availability, it felt like a cross between TS and an ACE store. After my brief interaction with him I had no patience left in me to observe whether or not general pricing was fair or not.

They have been in this location for ever. They used to be called ace hardware. No more. Now, after the name change their prices almost doubled. Not as organized as they used to be. Not as clean as they used to be and not as friendly either..

This is really a great store. Everyone is extremely helpful. They have alot of the hard to find items my only complaint is,, that I spend far too much money each time I go there... its like a candy store for grown ups, lol. What I like the best is that, you can ask for something and any employee can tell you what isle to find it.

Terrible experience. Rude and obnoxious cashier. The Manager on Duty Scott HUNG UP on me this morning when I called to complain about the poorly trained staff member I dealt with. What Manager does that? No surprise. Same manager I dealt with on Sunday. Poor representation of Ace Hardware. We just moved to Bohemia and thought we would help a local business. I spent over $800 on Ben Moore paint on Saturday and purchased over 25 switchplates on Sunday. Never again. I drove to Brinkmann in Sayville and opened a commercial account there. I WILL NEVER spend another penny there, EVER. You shouldn’t either. 👎👎👎👎👎

Great Place. I live in Bellmore (Nassau County) and my son goes to a video game group close by so I stop in there every Saturday. Love shopping at small independent merchants. Great selection and customer service. Thank you for a great shopping experience.

The only reason I’m giving it a 3 star is Bc how nice the paint attendant was, the fat lazy one in the front with his rude self, being sharp and getting smart with me for no reason as if I was beneath him, remember you work here I’m shopping here, he needs to tighten up his attitude! So for that I will not be returning, I’ll stick with Lowe’s

I have been a customer for years. Let me give you some advice...stop here first. You get real help from people who know more than the big box stores. Dont worry about the prices, they are a little higher priced than the big box stores on SOME items but less expensive on others. I searched for a bag of organic fertilizer last week, no big box or nursery had it. LI Hardware had it in stock for less than Amazon. I wasted two hours searching. Very doubtful they wont have what you need.

I will go out of my way to shop at L.I. Hardware. There are times that I need something that can only be found at a real hardware store. Big Box stores may be big on space but fall short on selection in comparison to a place like L.I. Hardware. There is a desk at the rear of the store where customer service is superb and they can help you replace nearly any household item that you bring in.Long live the Hardware Store!

Super convenient location, knowledgeable staff, no crowd, well stocked shelves (they have everything!). That great shopping experience comes with a price tho. Their prices are noticeably higher than the bigger home improvement stores. Sometimes worth the convenience, sometimes not.

After reading the reviews on this store, I had to double check the address, to see if I was reading reviews about the correct store. I go out of my way to do business at that store. The sales people have been helpful and courteous. Furthermore, they have an extensive selection of products,and in some cases have gone out of their way to locate products that were not readily available. My longest wait time at checkout, has been less than 5 minutes. Completely acceptable, and just for laughs, time your checkout time on a busy day at HD or some other mass merchandiser.

Great stihl products and support

We use LI Hardware for a lot of our everyday items we may need at our auto body repair shop. 99% of the time these guys have it all, rarely do they not have something we may need, pretty impressive for a small (non big box) store. Anything from brooms, mops, nuts, bolts to upholstery repair kits, key copies, cleansers, locks, etc...As a small business ourselves, we know the importance of shopping local mom and pop shops... are you going to pay a few cents or dollars more? Yes- but youre supporting a family, not a corporation and those costs are unavoidable since theyre buying in smaller quantities and have obstacles large corporations tend to avoid... Something we tend to forget these days and often times I find the convenience and low key atmosphere is a great trade off to the extra miles, stress and time spent at the big box store.

I just moved to this neighborhood and I went in there for some parts for my sprinkler system, the guy behind the counter asked me where I purchased the sprinkler heads, so I told him online, he asked how much I paid, then when I asked what I would need he said what did they tell you online all the while sitting there with his arms crossed and a puss on his face, this is why you are better off going the extra distance to home depot, and not to mention everything is double the price here. STAY AWAY NOT VERY FRIENDLY

I work here and most of the time I enjoy my work because Im a carpenter for many years and I love what gifts god has given me and much of the time here I dont feel appreciated that must change because I will never work unhappy......

First want to start off by saying the main manager SCOTT IS A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH.My issue is with the other manager scott (grumpy chubby fella with glasses) he has an attitude that i would truly love to fix.I feel terrible for Anyone who has to deal with him only because he is so friendly😂.mind you Im coming to this store for at least 13 years and at least 5 times a week.as far as a store goes they are great and very competitive cant say anything bad about that part.just very frustrating when you have to deal with someone that always looks mad at the world and seems to be doing you a favor when its his job to know the products they sell and to deal with the public. Was overcharged because employees couldnt do basic math. I would have stayed to argue with the kid at the hardware counter, but he wouldnt put his mask on. Id rather just pay the extra $6 bucks and get out of there.

Cashier Nice but store beyond over priced . Been there a couple of times and because of the convience paid double what would be anywhere else. I advise unless it is an emergency or pressed for time. Go somewhere else you will save a lot of money.

Doesnt even deserve one star. Staff was rude. A product was so longer available, so I kindly asked to speak to a store manager so I could inquire when they would be getting another shipment of this item in (especially because the item on sale was only on sale for a few more days, and they had already sold out) Employees are rude and were actually getting reprimanded for being lazy, as there was only one cashier ringing and a line wrapped around the register area. Manager was even more rude. I wouldnt recommend this store for your hard wear needs. Also, a family member used to work for this store and quit shortly after getting the job and had nothing but BAD THINGS to say about this place. Makes perfect sense why now that I have experienced it first hand. Go to ACE or some corporate store. I did and found the item I was looking for and had a pleasurable encounter with the employees there.

Not to mention the prices are at least a third to half again more than anywhere else. Drive the extra 10 minutes and go to Lowes. Why pay extra to get treated like garbage?
