Trustworthy! I go here any time my car has issues and they quickly fix it. I trust their entire staff completely. I have been going here for about 2 years now and I have never had any complaints. One time my parents came to visit me and had serious car troubles. I took them here and the car was fixed the very next day. Very reasonable prices too!

I called numerous times as well as stopped by and the kept putting me off. I needed mechanical work done on my BMW. Ed said the were busy. He was only working part time there and just didnt see any way he could get to it. This after asking for the last 8 digit s of my VIN# to check on parts. He hasnt done anything 3 weeks into my inquiry. I asked if his boys didnt need the work? He said well, yes but couldnt see how he could get to mine. Is my money no good? My skin color not the right color? Im a native here and so is Ed. He knew my father, ect. This really disheartens me. I am a good person. Pay my bills on time. Tip most times when I can. I havent ever cheated anyone. Built a home at age 21 on my own . Is there no integrity left in people? This really shocks me.

Best most honest auto repair around. I live in Florida and my daughters power steering on her ford went out. She took it to ford and was told the cost to repair was 2,100 at least. For a car only worth 5,000 I wasn’t willing to pay that. I had her take it to a few well known named shops in town and either they couldn’t fix it or it was around the same cost. I prayed for many days because I couldn’t afford to get her a repair or a new car. One day I started looking at a few shops just a little farther from town. When I called this shop I immediately knew I made the right car. I explained to the sweet lady what was going on and she gave the phone to Ed who I also explained the issue. He said he would be happy to get me an estimate. When he called with an estimate of only 850.00 I literally started to cry. I was so elated that God had helped me find and honest and caring place. Ed kept me up to date with the time line and when I came to get my car it was actually 30 less then the estimate. They are so honest that I would drive my cars from Florida if need be to get them fixed there. I’m todays world it’s hard to find honest and reliable people but I promise you will be surprised to find how amazing this couple are. Honesty and integrity very rare.

They quoted me over $500 to change my radiator..which cost $160 to buy the part and took only an hour and a half to change myself...talk about trying to take advantage of people...smh

Broke multiple connectors in the engine bay. Charged me $500 in parts and labor. Car would not start after they worked on it. Told me to buy a new car. Sad but this is a real review. i have the receipt to prove it. I will never use this shop again.

I always have recommended this place because I thought the work was honest even if expensive. Now I know that its poor quality after 421 auto forgot to replace my oil drain plug washer rendering it nearly impossible to be removed upon my next oil change, causing damage to my drain plug, oil pan, who knows what else .. 2016 Subaru Crosstrek, easiest vehicle to change the oil on and they somehow screwed it up. Also charged $30 to bring in used oil... Dont go here!!! The old man is mean too and intimidating

A workmans truck parked in our downhill driveway and forgot to put on the emergency brakes. The truck then ran over the back and left side of our parked car. Our car is an off white Volvo and we were concerned about the color matching after repairing the bumper, fender etc. Not only was the repair all around smooth and flawless but the color match was PERFECT! They had the car back to us and in like new condition in a week. Great folks to work with.

$1900 estimate for engine swap??? Old man is a joke got it priced at 2 other shops in Boone for $650 also very rude will not be taking my truck here

For my 2007 Jeep Wrangler the service was quick and they knew what to do to solve the problem.

I recently visited and had all of my spark plugs and coils replaced. My car was worked on for almost exactly an hour and a half before they closed and I was charged $230 just for labor which was absurd but I let it be and left. Not even 3 days later I had my car back in their shop for a coil misfiring yet again, my car was taken back and “fixed” and I went on my way. Same issue arose within a day and this time and I ended up taking it elsewhere to get it looked at since clearly the problem was not being solved. Turns out a coil needed to be fully replaced because it was broken from being “jammed” in & wasn’t even connected. The new mechanic i saw (not at 421 auto) replaced it instantly for me with no charge and showed me how it was wrongfully inserted and where 421 broke it at. I’m extremely upset that i paid $230 for labor that wasn’t even done properly and that I was overcharged for in the first place. I will never return to this shop again.

Took my car in when nobody else had time got it done it a very fast timely fashion and even stuck as close to the quoted prices as they could considering I didn’t have all parts as I thought I did very informative and basically told me what was wrong just from the discription
